Great people to work with, would do it all over again.

It was a good experience with Highland Homes during the entire buying-construction-closing cycle. We noticed a trust worthy approach on the sales, reviews, construction and warranty requests

The build process was great, seamless process. The only issue I had is I didn’t get the exact paint trim on the exterior of my home.

Me and my family had to relocate to Texas, and we had a ton of anxiety as well as concerns about how quickly we can move into a new home. However, we worked with a local realtor and they identified a location in Rockwall where a house was due to be completed in December. We reached out to the agent, and she was very accommodating and connected with the project manager that was working the house. After a couple of months, they were very responsive to all of our requests and assisted us where needed. Truly this company aim to please their clients. The initial encounter with the office team is the critical part, they will layout the options given your price range and patiently assisting you.

Our superintendent Blake was awesome! Monica and Sydney were a pleasure to work with. They all took care of us while trying to build a home while still living over 2.5 hours away. Highland Homes was a very accommodating builder which was much appreciated.

Our project manager Blake was the best. He was always responsive and took care of all of our questions and request. The quality of work done on our home was exceptional.

Valerie was our sales rep and Michael our builder. Both were friendly and professional. Both were responsive and we felt like they were looking out for us.

First off, Ashley and Stephanie in the sales office were awesome! They were so helpful and accommodating with us during the buying process, it was a pleasure to work with them. Sean, our construction manager is another person who I can’t praise enough. He always made himself available and kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. We had some minor issues during construction, which is to be expected. Once identified Sean was on it and promptly corrected. Two issues we still have are with the painting and landscaping. Caulking around baseboards was sloppy and not consistent from one area to the next. Paint is thin and the walls are not saturated at all. As far as landscaping, The topsoil they used under the sod is virtually non existent. There are hills and valleys all over the yard and the amount and size of the rocks I dig out daily are ridiculous. First, I would like to say that Brandon did an amazing job with everything. He resolved all of our issues and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were constantly informed. One thing I would like to bring to light is the quality of the build. It seems a large portion of the build was rushed. Framing, trimming, caulking, tile, could all have used a little extra care. However, the good outweighs the bad. Overall, we happy about the home.

The home buying process with Highland Homes was very professional and unique. They made you aware of all aspects of the buying process, and made sure ,you were at ease at all times. They were curious and a pleasure to deal with. My hat goes off to Highland and all their team!!

Our building experience with Highland Homes was fantastic! Working with Aleasha and Michael was great. Their response to our questions and concerns was professional, prompt, and attentive to detail. I would not hesitate to build with them again!

They are quick to respond and easy to talk to.

Highland homes are well built with good floor plans. We are in a new portion of the development and there are 3 developers who build here. We are living in a garbage dump!! The builders make no effort to clean up and theirs trash is everywhere. We are constantly picking up trash out of our yard, some is construction debris and even paper plates and cups from the workers lunches!

Quality of workmanship is not all that great.

The Highland sales team was very attentive. We never 2nd guessed our choice to hire them or to purchase their product. The building process was 90% smooth, and where we ran into a slowdown, it was resolved as soon as the vendor made the right product available. Although he was VERY busy, our building coordinator made time for us as best he could. We never felt neglected. When building this many homes, there are certain to be minor workmanship issues, but we have 12 months to work those out!! Happy with Highland!

Great experience with Highland Homes, the quality of the build was second to none!

As a first time home homeowner. Highland made the process seem less and everyone on the team truly cares. The community is great and the team is very responsive to all issues i have had. So far my only complain will be the floor plan design. I think it could be more user friendly. The home is beautiful and very modern but lacks and office space and small things like under the sink trash cabinets

Highland, like any builder, has its own challenges managing sub contractors that are inevitably the ones actually building your home, but Highland’s warranty, commitment to excellence, and absolute focus on building a trusting relationship with you as a homeowner absolutely overcomes the smallest issues as well as the minor near unnoticeable defects that anyone finds in their new home. From start to finish, they’ve been excellent. Even our realtor was like “I don’t ever feel like I earn my commission whenever I work with Highland, they make the entire process so easy, it’s undeniable they’re the best in the biz to work with!” Someday, I hope Highland opts in to build individualized homes on parcels of land individually purchased. Bought a spec in the drywall stage. ’ll admit, everything wasn’t done perfectly. There were several things that were issues and we felt like we weren’t getting a return on our investment for the quality of work being performed. I’ll also admit, that Highland Homes did everything in their power to fix every issue we have had. And some of these things were big things. They didn’t hesitate to make it right, and continue to strive to make it right until we are satisfied. We bought with highland because of the customer service reputation, and they have met and exceeded my expectations on that front in every aspect. After hearing some nightmare stories about other builders within the community, we knew we made the right choice going with Highland Homes. There were some hiccups along the way, but I was extremely pleased with the final product. The house is beautiful, and the builder was extraordinarily accomodating. There is a reason Highland has repeatedly won Builder of the Year! Do not waste your time dealing with anyone except Highland!

Our construction project manager was wonderful and worked closely with our realtor. It was unbelievable with what’s going on in the world, but he delivered the project on time. Amazing. Build materials are decent quality - above average - but not what we are used to coming from a DiVosta home in Florida. The windows are the most noticeable difference. They are lower quality and the frames around them are slightly off. Not our PM’s fault by any means. Thank you - we would choose highland homes again!
