We encountered some issues along the way between Sales and Build process but they were all responsive and resolved. Overall a really good experience. Highly Recommend.

Would hesitate to recommend this builder

My family and I are so glad with our home! Big thanks for Highland team who made this possible, by being super supportive and helpful! Our home is perfect, and the quality + level of the service is impressive. The builder was/is super responsive and resourceful too!

The sales consultants (Tim Stephenson and Michelle Buck) were absolutely wonderful. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re the reason we chose a Highland Home. The builder guys Clint and Ryan were very thorough and made sure we were updated regularly on the progress of our home.

I would absolutely recommend Highland Homes to any prospective home purchaser! It was an amazing home buying experience! Great quality and craftsmanship!

There were times when we lost trust in this location as far as selling us this home. And it took some rebuilding of trust in order for us to stay with them. Right up to the end we questioned our decisions to buy this home, but we did it and for our first home we are satisfied. I'll say if you can be here everyday during the build, make sure you are!

The builder, Garrett, was very responsive. Todd, the sales manager, did a great job responding to our needs.

Very good quality home for the money

The home has many extras that are the difference when selecting a builder

The current market has allowed even the top builders to do the minimum because there is a line of people to buy the homes. We had an average experience with a builder that I went into with high expectations based on family in real estate and being a long time resident of DFW. If Highland is now ok I would hate to experience the builders that don't have the best reputations.

We would recommend the construction manager and company to a friend.

Both the sales consultant and the construction manager were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, responsive, personable and above all they were great listeners. They took time to understand our needs and made excellent attempts to cater to our wants and needs. However, the overall finishing of the house and attention to detail can be improved significantly--especially the cabinets were handled poorly with next to no care at all. Paint chip, scratches, squeaky doors, unclean grout and what not. We got tired of pin-pointing and asking the construction manager to fix everything so we eventually gave in. It's a simple concept though - if you pay the full price, you should get product you have paid for - not damaged goods! Love our new Highland Homes home.

So many things are done well in our new home. We love it and working with Highland has been great.

Our sales agent and our builders representive were very responsive and supported us during the buying experience and after we moved in.

Great customer service and quick follow up! The sales team and construction team responded to questions quickly and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. Love the Highland Homes team! :)

Working with a great salesperson like Jamie evans and a lender like Matt and a builder like Blake makes for a first time homebuyer a wonderful experience

We would highly recommend Highland Homes. They were very caring and helpful and built us a quality home.

Lonnie was awesome and timely. I've been very happy with the inside of the home. Landscaping/outdoor experience hasn't been great. The outside landscaping etc seems like it was hastily done.

Highland has been on top of things from day one. The builder kept us inform while the home was being built and any issues that arose we were promptly notified. Any questions we had were answered and verified. We tried other home builders before making a decision who to choose but Highland stood out among all others. I highly recommend this builder. We are now in our home and we love it. It is everything we asked for and more. Don’t try the rest and get the best and that is definitely Highland Homes.

Terrible experience overall. I will say, Mike with the mortgage company needs a mask and cape because he was superman. Tyler, our second Builder has done her absolute level best to correct issues we had so I would rate her 5 stars. If you end up with Eric as your builder, cancel and walk away. He doesn't care at all. He is extremely unprofessional, including having trades eating and sleeping in my home during our scheduled meeting which he was late to. You will not get a quality home if he builds it, request Tyler, she is hands and feet above him in treatment and physicall quality.

Our home is beautiful, but over priced for what you get. Highland still has not completed their final punch list of items that were to be completed prior to move in. We did not want to push our closing date as we had nowhere to go, so we went ahead and moved in. Now we have a list of unfinished items, which they promised they would come finish shortly after we moved in, but haven’t. We have reached out to the builder multiple times, no return calls, no return emails, one time he put a meeting on the calendar and we took off of work for him to no show. It’s funny how once they get their money, it’s no longer their problem anymore. Don’t get me wrong we like our home, but be prepared to chase your builder down if you want them to complete anything they “promised”. ... More
