Our experience with Highland Homes was phenomenal. Every person on their team from sales to construction to lending, were amazing! It was a pure joy to work with such a great team for 7-8 months. Our process was smooth and our questions were always addressed promptly. We’ve been in our new home for about six weeks and it doesn’t disappoint. Great quality, great workmanship and beautiful. We’re very happy with our new home built by Highland Homes. The construction quality, design, and attention to detail really impressed us. From the initial walkthrough to the final touches, everything was handled professionally. The sales team was friendly, informative, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. That said, we were a bit disappointed to see the base price of our floor plan drop less than a month after we closed. We understand that pricing can shift with the market, but such a quick decrease felt discouraging, especially after making such a big investment. Overall, we still love our home and appreciate the craftsmanship and care that went into building it. After referring Highland Homes, and Zach, to my parents in 2021, I was excited to partner with them to build my home in 2025! The entire team’s excellent communications, the perfect floor plan, and the flexibility with the options made the stressful process of building a home completely enjoyable and exciting! Now that we have moved in, we couldn’t be happier with the end result. A few minor issues since closing have been quickly acknowledged and resolved! Highly recommended!!!!

This is my first time purchasing a new build so I have nothing to compare my experiences to. This was a forced move for work so not a lot of time to shop around. Highland came highly recommend from my realtor. I looked at 2 Highland homes and on its face I really like them. Completed my "blue tape" walk through (took a vacation day and drove 10 hrs total) where I marked things that needed repaired before closing. I attempted to go over things with a fine toothed comb but it's a lot to look at in a short amount of time. I came back the next week for closing and was assured by the builder all of my stuff was repaired. I arrive at the house and noticed 90% of the things I marked were not fixed, though the blue tape was now removed. I was not a happy camper. What other things did they cover up? I made my concerns known and a few of the bosses arrived and began helping fix items. They assured me multiple people had walked through my house several times, but they must've walked through with their eyes closed to miss all the glaring issues. Things ranged from screws in the door hinges not screwed in, paint splatter all over the laminate flooring, trim not complete nor painted, grout all over the tile, laminate damaged, outlets not installed correctly, and sink leaking (though i was told it was fixed already, yet under the cabinet was still wet). Yes they are willing to fix it. Thankfully you get a bumper to bumper warranty for the first year because you'll need it. After a week of being in the home 5 tiles cracked in the bathroom and a warranty claim was made. I get angry every day knowing what I paid for the house and looking and the poor craftsmanship throughout the house. I will not be a repeat customer! ... More

From beginning to completion it has been an outstanding relationship with Highland Homes. Our Project Manager kept us fully informed plus sent emails periodically on the building status and outlining next major milestones. Everyone we delt with from Highland was absolutely outstanding!! They take pride in their work and quality is their highest priority. We love our new home!!

Everyone at Highland has been great to work with. Very responsive to any issues and gets them resolved quickly. My only gripe is with whoever they contract out to do the landscaping. They never bother to level the ground before laying sod down and don't even lay down a good bed of soil before the sod. Leaves you with a lot of uneven areas and a lot work to do when you move in if you care about having a beautiful lawn (which I do)

I had a great experience purchasing a home from Highland Homes. I think it’s great value for the bucks paid compared to other high-end builders. My building manager Trey is one of the best. This was my first home-buying experience and he really made the transition seamless during the walkthrough and handover process. The team is also very responsive in addressing any challenges or issues identified.

Highland Homes does a remarkable job both in craftsmanship and in customer service. We absolutely love our home and appreciate the attention to big thinks (like the floorplan) and small things (like the outlets having a usb port). I will always sing their praises and recommend them to everyone!

To make the home your way, the items are limited to the design center. Didn’t understand if I was willing to pay for upgrades, why I was not allowed. Was not asked which landscape item I wanted

The entire process of the home purchase went very well. There's is a minor mishap in the initial process stage, wherein the sales agreement of the first house that we looked at was cancelled due to miscommunication between us and the sales team. It was a blessing in disguise though, as the second house that has been showed to us was way better than the first one. My family really liked the house, so we immediately process the purchase with the Sales team. I really appreciate all the prompt responses from Chad and Pam with my inquiries. Julio from the construction team was really good. He really took time to explain everything about the house during the orientation. The punch list that my third-party inspector has been rectified in a timely manner. I never encountered any issues with him regarding the inquiries and service request I have sent to him almost 2 months after closing.
