Things not completed on time. Poor workmanship. Poor delivery. Poor quality of craftsmanship. Poor commitment to homeowner! No ETA. After 3 months into the home, still have so many issue pending. You have forced me to decide that I don't want to live in this house for longer than I have to. No one even thinks like that for a rental home.

Huge shoutout to Edison Peralta, our builder. He is the best! Very experienced, detailed and thoughtful builder. He understood all our crazy custom requirements and built them to perfection. His expertise and guidance helped us made better design choices. Thank you for building our dream home. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Anna Grach. She is just awesome! Anna is a true example of customer first service. Anna understands the customer requirements and always helps to get best for customer. Thank you, Anna!

Love the design of our home but it’s been an absolute headache dealing with so many issues that need to be fixed. Tired of having workers in and out of my house nearly 3 months after closing. Many of these issues could have been avoided with just a little competence in project management. I’m sure we’ll love our home long term but the process getting there has been terrible

Highland Homes has truly reimagined the home buying process for us. We had a lot of bumps in the road during our search but once we discovered Highland everything was very seamless, efficient, and an overall great experience. We have mixed feelings about our experience with Highland Homes. While we love our new home, it does have its flaws. The Short Version The overall purchase process was alright; everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. However, several issues arose during construction that have left us somewhat disappointed. The Long Version Initially, everything was going well. The team was professional and helpful. Unfortunately, a construction fire early in the process caused a significant delay. Thankfully, no one was hurt. As construction progressed, we began noticing several concerning issues: -Mysterious stains on the plywood -Windows left open after drywall installation, allowing water inside -A leak in the area where fire repairs were made, due to missing shingles To their credit, Highland Homes addressed the major structural issues, and the house is structurally well-built. We had the option to back out, but after consulting with several lawyers, we decided to proceed. Our main disappointment lies in the sloppy delivery: -Mortar chunks left on the porch and patio -Miscolored concrete and sloppy patch repairs -Poor construction cleanup before closing, including paint splatters on the tile and cabinetry -Smeared silicone caulk on tiles, making them difficult to clean -Questionable smears on the walls/ ceiling We expected a higher level of quality from Highland Homes, especially since this isn't our first build and we knew what to look out for. For the most part, I had a great experience with Highland. Our construction manager Trystan was always responsive, and it made for an easy home building journey.

Builder Drake was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Only complaint was lack of disclosure that knobs and handles a charge control. Certainly would have executed that if told of this issue

We couldn't have asked for a better builder. The whole homebuying experience, from the first day of appointment to see their available plans to closing was just so unbelievably smooth. They were quick to address our concerns every step of the whole process, and most importantly they were true to their words. The quality and the style of the home is what l love the most. There has not been one person that came into our home that did not openly admire the beauty and quality of the workmanship. If we have to buy again, we'll definitely go with Highland homes.

I was impressed with the way Highland Home handled the buying process from the beginning to closing. They worked with me through out the whole process. I never regret buying through them.

Sales team is good and the experience was great. The building team is not as responsive. Overall, the quality of workmanship is good.

I’ll start by saying that HH was by no means terrible and in the end we are very happy with our home and it’s beautiful and the finishes HH offers are all very nice. That being said, my biggest gripe with HH is likely that I came in with higher expectations having built homes in the past with other builders in different states where the process was exceptional. I came in expecting the same and HH fell short. Everything eventually got done and taken care of but it involved a lot more leg work and follow up on my end to ensure things were getting done and were correct ( there were several errors.) In the end the attention to detail and lack of communication at all levels Sales, construction manager and HH loans was disappointing, but to their credit they have for the most part been responsive and taken care of everything once I followed up. I can’t imagine how this would go for a first time home building customer not knowing what to look for and/or what to ask. ... More

We Love our Highland Home ! They cared about every hurdle that came up during the building process. Zach was so kind and caring and helpful during the process from the very beginning. Trystan was also caring and kind and was right on top of anything we asked or needed during the building process and after completion. These guys are great assets to the company. I would recommend this builder to anyone.

The buying process have been smooth except that there’s a lot of pending issues of the house that hasn't been fixed until now and it's been 2 most since the closing date. They knew about this issues before the closing date and we have been patiently waiting for them to fixed it. The builder even told us during the buyer's orientation that they will have a 1-month follow up after the closing date to check if how is the house, but no one came, I guess there is no such thing as that. I hoping they'll be more responsive and act timely not just in words but in action.

I would highly recommend working with highland homes. They have an outstanding relationship in Texas and produce a quality product.

The company will make sure it is correct and the warranty service is top notch. They always take care of their customers.

The Sales team was/is awesome! Friendly, cooperative, informative, always my advocate. My construction manager was AWESOME too! He kept me informed every step of the way and addressed any questions I had very promptly. He is very courteous and proactive. I am very happy with the entire experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Highland to anyone looking for a great experience and a great value in a new home.
