We have built 7 houses over the years but have always been local during the build. Not this time. We were 5 states away but our sales rep and our building superintendent kept us informed and shared progress pictures. Every detail was addressed along the way. Our best building experience. Process was streamlined and we made many changes since we were in it from dirt so gave us an opportunity to select all finishouts to our liking creating a custom home. The entire staff was great and seamless! Very pleased with the results and highly recommended!

Highlands Homes did an amazing job on not only the craftsmanship and house quality, but also the services and responsiveness for any questions/concerns my wife and I had. They were resolved in a snap of a finger. I would highly recommend Highland Homes if you're considering buying a quality home on your next purchase.

Everything was great but Highland could use better trades. There are too many redos that cost Highland or the buyers money. They can get real lazy and it shows. If Highland doesn't demand perfection from its trades, it may start to have a negative reflection towards Highland due to the cost of the home vs some of the lack in workmanship by its team of trades.

My home purchase with Highland Homes has been a great experience from day one. I would attribute that to Layne.the sales agent as he’s been stellar to work, knows his product line, and knows how to get you into a home. The process was quick and easy and I’m now enjoying my new Highland Home.

Am generally happy with my new home. There are some items that need to be corrected but I am sure that the building supervisor Clayton will assist me in correcting them

Everyone I have worked with at Highland has been great, and the after sale responsiveness, when there have been issues have been great. I would say a couple of their trades are lacking. Small things like the front door knob falling off, while an easy fix, is a little frustrating. My one major complaint is on the interior paint. The quality of work is sub par, and even the lightest bunk against a wall causes scuffs. I believe this is due to the use of flat paint and also very things spray application. I have a feeling I will need to have the entire interior repainted, which is not going to be cheap. ... More

I have built with other builders including Grand Homes but I can say the experience with Highland Homes has been the best!! They're very understanding and ready to work with their clients. They're quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. We've had a great experience building with Highland and our neighbors share the same sentiments.

Working with our Highland Homes sales counselor and project manager was a great experience from beginning to end. They were very pleasant and responsive to our needs and questions.

Sales and office employees were very "customer service" oriented, which was a nice change from what I've experienced in the past with a particular homebuilder. The construction manager is awesome and goes out of his way to accommodate and fix any issues.

The customer service and responsiveness is great. All questions and issues are quickly addressed.

My experience with Highland to purchase my first home has been exceptional. Debby was great and answered all my questions before I was ready to jump in and was responsive all throughout the process. Jeff was great to work with and was always available when I had questions. He and Blake were very thorough in the walk through, which was appreciated since I have never dealt with most of this before. Jeff has also been great these first few months after I moved in and has quickly fixed any issues that have popped up (all minor). Overall, we are pleased with our new home. My wife and I do wish the cabinets were better taken care of and the house during the moving in process should have been cleaner. However, we can overlook these things thanks to Roy! He’s been very easy to work with, communicates well, goes above and beyond for us even post closing! He is professional and is always willing to help us with any questions.

The sales staff are really wonderful and helpful, especially Layne. I was under contract for well over a year before my home was completed. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns. My construction manager, Aaron is also great. He kept me updated on every stage of construction. My only complaint has been the overall sloppiness of many of the subcontractors. There were paint splatters/drips everywhere on every surface, construction debris left in the yard, landscapers installing grass and flower beds over debris and rocks, scratches on several windows, etc. Aaron is continuing to have the subs come and most of these issues are slowly getting corrected. very responsive, and took care of any issues that we were faced with

Both our builder and sales lady were very professional and attentive to anything we needed, including responding to texts and emails. The whole process was excellent! Only issue was a bowed framing around the master shower. We expected a much higher attention to detail on the construction side.
