I have built with other builders including Grand Homes but I can say the experience with Highland Homes has been the best!! They're very understanding and ready to work with their clients. They're quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. We've had a great experience building with Highland and our neighbors share the same sentiments.

My experience with Highland to purchase my first home has been exceptional. Debby was great and answered all my questions before I was ready to jump in and was responsive all throughout the process. Jeff was great to work with and was always available when I had questions. He and Blake were very thorough in the walk through, which was appreciated since I have never dealt with most of this before. Jeff has also been great these first few months after I moved in and has quickly fixed any issues that have popped up (all minor). Overall, we are pleased with our new home. My wife and I do wish the cabinets were better taken care of and the house during the moving in process should have been cleaner. However, we can overlook these things thanks to Roy! He’s been very easy to work with, communicates well, goes above and beyond for us even post closing! He is professional and is always willing to help us with any questions.

When we found out my company was going remote, we immediately knew we wanted to move back to our homestate of Texas! With no geographical restrictions on where we could live, however, the propsect of finding a community and a new home was very daunting. From the first time we stooped to look at the model through the finalizing of our mortgage approval, Highland Homes was extremely easy to work with and highly responsive to our needs. Towards the end of the process, we needed to move our closing date up and they bent over backward to make it happen for us. We've been in our home for almost 3 months and so far it is fantastic. No major issues. The few minor things that have come up the builder has been highly responsive to and worked quickly to make it right.

First time homebuyer and could not be happier

I rated the quality of workmanship as 4 of 5 stars because no home is PERFECT when one moves in. There were small things we found after living in the house for a few weeks, but that has been our experience with six other homes over the years. Having said that, the value of the home is fine and meets today's standards. The trustworthiness in building the home and the responsiveness to the issues discovered are excellent. The foreman who built the home is incredibly responsive to any issue discovered and is wonderful to work with. Working with our Highland Homes sales counselor and project manager was a great experience from beginning to end. They were very pleasant and responsive to our needs and questions.

Sales and office employees were very "customer service" oriented, which was a nice change from what I've experienced in the past with a particular homebuilder. The construction manager is awesome and goes out of his way to accommodate and fix any issues.

The customer service and responsiveness is great. All questions and issues are quickly addressed.

The sales staff are really wonderful and helpful, especially Layne. I was under contract for well over a year before my home was completed. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns. My construction manager, Aaron is also great. He kept me updated on every stage of construction. My only complaint has been the overall sloppiness of many of the subcontractors. There were paint splatters/drips everywhere on every surface, construction debris left in the yard, landscapers installing grass and flower beds over debris and rocks, scratches on several windows, etc. Aaron is continuing to have the subs come and most of these issues are slowly getting corrected.
