Sales and office employees were very "customer service" oriented, which was a nice change from what I've experienced in the past with a particular homebuilder. The construction manager is awesome and goes out of his way to accommodate and fix any issues.

The customer service and responsiveness is great. All questions and issues are quickly addressed.

My experience with Highland to purchase my first home has been exceptional. Debby was great and answered all my questions before I was ready to jump in and was responsive all throughout the process. Jeff was great to work with and was always available when I had questions. He and Blake were very thorough in the walk through, which was appreciated since I have never dealt with most of this before. Jeff has also been great these first few months after I moved in and has quickly fixed any issues that have popped up (all minor). Overall, we are pleased with our new home. My wife and I do wish the cabinets were better taken care of and the house during the moving in process should have been cleaner. However, we can overlook these things thanks to Roy! He’s been very easy to work with, communicates well, goes above and beyond for us even post closing! He is professional and is always willing to help us with any questions.

The sales staff are really wonderful and helpful, especially Layne. I was under contract for well over a year before my home was completed. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns. My construction manager, Aaron is also great. He kept me updated on every stage of construction. My only complaint has been the overall sloppiness of many of the subcontractors. There were paint splatters/drips everywhere on every surface, construction debris left in the yard, landscapers installing grass and flower beds over debris and rocks, scratches on several windows, etc. Aaron is continuing to have the subs come and most of these issues are slowly getting corrected. Both our builder and sales lady were very professional and attentive to anything we needed, including responding to texts and emails. The whole process was excellent! Only issue was a bowed framing around the master shower. We expected a much higher attention to detail on the construction side.

Would highly recommend Highland Homes

I purchased this HH home at the finished stage. The buying, closing and move in processes were smooth. The build quality looks good. Interior details were a bit sloppy. The appliances were “builder grade”. Jason, our project manager was responsive and took care of most issues, though he seemed to have lost steam after a while. :-) All in all a positive experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Highland Homes. While at times it was stressful, as homebuilding can be, Aaron & Layne were always quick to resolve any issues and make things right. They were both very responsive and happy to call us whenever we needed. It felt like we were building a home with family. We did feel like some of the more detailed aspects of the house were initially completed poorly but our builder made sure to have the contractors come out and fix things to a more expected level. Even after closing, both Layne and Aaron have been super responsive to any minor issues that have come up or questions that we have. We are so thankful to have built our first home with Highland! Overall, provides excellent customer service!

Easy to work with & corrected things I saw in my home that bothered me

Debbie was great! She never once pressured me into doing anything I didn’t want to do and was very responsive. Her communication is superb (even after the closing). You can tell that she is genuinely on your side and wants what you want.

When we found out my company was going remote, we immediately knew we wanted to move back to our homestate of Texas! With no geographical restrictions on where we could live, however, the propsect of finding a community and a new home was very daunting. We looked at over 100 houses across Austin, Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington and all communities therein. We are SO GLAD we found Highland Homes in the Walsh community! It was immediately apparent that the build quality was a level above the other builders we were looking at, and their whole team was friendly and responsive. Layne, our sales rep, was on call 24/7 for us and even helped us navigate the pecularities of insurance, taxes and other factors unique to Texas. The homebuying process from start to finish was stress-free and exceeded my expectations. As a first time homebuyer, I did not know what to expect thus had several questions which Highland answered swiftly and honestly. If you are like me, you will not regret purchasing a Highland Home!

From the first time we stooped to look at the model through the finalizing of our mortgage approval, Highland Homes was extremely easy to work with and highly responsive to our needs. Towards the end of the process, we needed to move our closing date up and they bent over backward to make it happen for us. We've been in our home for almost 3 months and so far it is fantastic. No major issues. The few minor things that have come up the builder has been highly responsive to and worked quickly to make it right.

Our construction manager, Ben, provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. This includes guidance on a number of upgrades that we considered, as well as, immediate repair and replacement of the very few items that were not quite right. Ben's expertise and good attitude throughout the process was greatly appreciated.

The house is beautiful, and our builder Ben has been very responsive about taking care of some little things that need to be fixed. Overall, the workmanship is good, and my husband and I are very pleased.
