Ginger and others make you feel like you are their only client. They are so warm, and friendly. They really go above and beyond to help and make sure you are happy and pleased. They communicate and stay in touch every step of the way. You never have to wonder what next. Awesome team!

I purchased this HH home at the finished stage. The buying, closing and move in processes were smooth. The build quality looks good. Interior details were a bit sloppy. The appliances were “builder grade”. Jason, our project manager was responsive and took care of most issues, though he seemed to have lost steam after a while. :-) All in all a positive experience.

Building a home with Highland Homes was such an enjoyable experience! Their customer service is top-notch, and better than we could have ever anticipated! They were committed to excellence at every step. What is most impressive is that even after closing, when we noticed minor blemishes or issues with the house (having lived in it), they maintain their level of responsiveness and excellence. We give Highland Homes our highest recommendation, and we sing their praises every chance we get when talking with others who are considering building a new home.

The devil is in the details. There are many details that did not get addressed by the construction manager. Lawn isn’t level lots of bumps which cause low spots when mowing, wood floors have hollow spots, grout in master, pencil lines on tile, smudges on paint on the ceiling and higher areas, when appliances (back ordered) were installed the damaged the trim and the wall paint, breaker for Christmas light flips back to the middle, kitchen drawer doesn’t soft close like it should. Our experience was GREAT. From the beginning til the end. Don Arnold was outstanding. Our builder, Mason was outstanding/professional a joy to work with. He addressed issues and provided solutions.

The builders, Jeff & Blake, have been so incredibly helpful. I’m glad to know I am working with a builder I can trust and rely on.

Overall, the house is good from a construction standpoint. However, the painter did a TERRIBLE job, lots of missed spots. Even after pointing out several paint spot and areas of poorly done sheetrock during the final walkthrough, before being told those were “just cosmetic” and made to feel like we were being too picky about walls with giant areas of missing paint and noticeably uneven sheetrock. This is after they tried to sneak in a different countertop and tell me it was the same thing because they couldn’t find the one I ordered. (They did fix this after arguing with me and me calling management.) Also, the cleanup crew did not do a good job at all, with a noticeable layer of dust on the floor, and pencil markings all over the outside. ... More

We had a wonderful experience with Highland Homes. While at times it was stressful, as homebuilding can be, Aaron & Layne were always quick to resolve any issues and make things right. They were both very responsive and happy to call us whenever we needed. It felt like we were building a home with family. We did feel like some of the more detailed aspects of the house were initially completed poorly but our builder made sure to have the contractors come out and fix things to a more expected level. Even after closing, both Layne and Aaron have been super responsive to any minor issues that have come up or questions that we have. We are so thankful to have built our first home with Highland! We bougth our dream house , but we have many problem with plumbing ( toilet) paint , door , landscaping cabinet etc . They sell us a lambo and receive a focus , It not fair , we are very frustrated , we not recommend this builder company at all .

Layne Mitchell and Corey Lee are worth their weight in gold. Great experience from start to finish.

We love our home and especially the floor plan. We do have an issue with the low quality kitchen cabinets and countertops used in our home. Countertops easily scratch and discolor, we were told quartz was the best. The cabinet have paint peeling and when the tech came to touch them up, he used spray paint, for a home over $400,000 this is ridiculous. We do have a great relationship with our CM John.

This builder has condescending sales staff ( once you’ve paid) and poor follow up on repair issues

Overall, provides excellent customer service!
