Beautiful homes with high ceilings

Don was great to work with. If he told us something then he would try his best to make it happen. While I know the sub contractors are not always reliable, Don followed up to make sure they completed what needs to be done.

The process from start to finish was challenging at times, but the team at Highland always came through. The communication from the Sales Rep, Hector and the Project Manager Jim, made all the difference for me. When there was an issue to be addressed, they were both available and attentive to resolve in a timely matter. The home turned out beautifully and I would highly recommend Highland, specifically the Team that I worked with. Thank you!

very professional staff

The entire sales process was great. From Andrew, our rep, to Mike, the builder, to all the guys that built the home and came in and out to address any and all warranty issues. This was out first time buying a home and Highland has set a high standard for a new home buying process. I doubt we ever leave Klein Orchard but if we do, we’ll purchase from Highland again.

Great home overall for the money paid. All issues found by a third party inspector were resolved in a timely manner. The issues were courteously explained and addressed. The construction manager,Jose, had a great personality and responded to our needs in a professional manner. The sales counselor,Susan, was great to work with and was diligent in taking care of our every need during the homebuying process.

Nothing is ever perfect but they came as close as they could. Purchased my home long distance and they were communicative and responsive with me all along the way and even so now as I find little things to be tweaked along the way!

Hard to put the words trust and builder in the same sentence. But you can trust that Highland Homes will deliver with a positive experience throughout the process. Our home was completed on time, as promised, in budget...and we built long distance. Sure, there were some issues to be expected with a new build, but Highland warranty service is top notch. Build with Highland Homes, you’ll be glad you did!

I built a new home with Highland Homes at Laurel Glen, and I had very pleasant experience with them. It took only 4 months for me from signing a contract to close the house. Sales people are very helpful, polite, always answered my phone calls or emails, even after business hours and on weekends, walked me thru step by step in the process. The manager is just amazing, has very good personality, respectful, always listening and explaining. We sold a house in The Woodlands and bought a new house with Highland. It's our first time with Highland. The stress levels from both selling and buying at the same time were very high for me and my family. Working with Highland helped lower the stress for buying a new house. Having dealt with many other builders, once we met with Highland, it was clear to me that they were #1 on my list to strike a deal with. No non-sense or sales pitches, concise and to the point. Quality of construction is also excellent with modern designs. All steps from signing of contract through closing and after moving repairs have been seemless. The construction manager is ever reachable and responsive. He has taken good care of us, any repairs (mostly minor that are expected of a new construction) addresses almost immediately. We are beyond pleased with our new home. From our first meeting with Linda in the sales office to post-closing small details with Don (and all parts in between), we always felt that we were valued and respected. We have been in our home long enough to receive full-month utility bills. The home is truly energy efficient and very comfortable. When moving to Bridgeland, we had hoped to build a Highland Home, but expected we would have to sacrifice size or features to construct one at our price point. Surprisingly, our sales associate considered our requests, picked a great plan and elevation, and provided considerable upgrades, while remaining in our budget. Constructing and financing through a Highland affiliate resulted in a seamless process, one in which it only took 3 months to construct and close on our home.

Chris was our builder and did an excellent job. He is very responsive, is on top of everything and is nice to work with.

Finding the plan to build the perfect home is the easy part. What sets Highland Homes apart from the rest is the support you will get during the construction of your home and after closing. Every new home will have bumps along the way, how those issues are handled is what is most important. Daniel, my builder, and Anita, my sales person, always made sure these issues were resolved. They both really emphasized they wanted us to be happy with our purchase. After building 5 homes, you don't see that kind of "old fashioned" work ethic very often. All the extra effort was appreciated.

Highland has been great since the start. They are quick to answer your question or concerns. They are very accommodating and trustworthy. I would recommend anyone to build with highland.

Highland has great floor plans to choose from. The process was easy and they take care of any issues the best they can. Lyndsay in the sales depart was great at helping with design choices. Giovanni the construction manager was most helpful in every way. He handles issues quickly and makes it a great experience. The only negative is possibly not getting all the options offered in the design center that I would have liked to get. Example elongated toilets instead of round ones, blinds not offered, and taller bathroom cabinets. But with that said it was a pleasant experience and I would buy from highland again. ... More
