We had great experience with the Highland home sales person towards closing and with the walkthrough with the construction manager. The staff has been responsive and helpful in taking care of any issues that came up. We have bought homes in the past but but we would rate our experience with Highland Homes too notch!

Home buying experience was great with Highland. Expected a little more quality but overall, I'm satisfied.

David is outstanding. Outstanding. of course there will be issues during the building process. He understood our concerns and reassured us that things would be addressed and taken care of. He was confident and we were confident in his abilities. He is professional and friendly. We always felt he “heard” our concerns and addressed them quickly and appropriately. David made the building process smooth and pleasant. We’ve always heard the horror stories about building and the stress it can cause. And he finished early! Yay. We were able to move out of the apartment 2 months early! Working with David was a dream. Highlands provided us with good service/assistance. They addressed our concerns and requests during the process of buying our home, made sure everything is on time up to the closing period. We were able to move in our new home as planned/scheduled. Terrence and Jovanni provided assistance and help

Overall experience went very smooth, from selecting lot, floor plan, brick, etc. A little more clarity on what are builder options vs design center options would be helpful. Also would like more options for lighting than what was offered. Construction phase went very good with timely updates and walk-thru meetings. Hector and John very great to work with.

Our Construction Manager, Ed, has visited on multiple occasions to ensure that any warranty matters are addressed in a timely manner.

Great shoping experience, really nice house

This was my second build. Highland went above my expectations in craftsmanships, customer service, and production deadlines. Glenn was a fantastic salesman and Jim was a phenomenal project manager. I could not have been happier with the process. I strongly recommend Highland homes to anyone looking for a new home in the area.

Our overall all experience is beyond great. Highland Homes as a company and staffs are the best in town. They really go above and beyond on any issue that might arise during any phase of construction or inspection. Their commitment and professionalism are truly unmatched. Everyone we worked with at Highland Homes in Bridgeland was very easy to talk to and work with. They were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say. I wasn’t looking forward to the building process, but they all made it much better than I thought it would be. Our builder made a big difference. He was great to work with, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The one area I wish we could have had some input, was the landscaping. My salesman Hector was fantastic and very easy to work with. I would go as far as to say, if wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would have gone through with the build. The design center person wasn't very helpful. She was not aware of the costs of most choices and or upgrades which made it very difficult make choices and trying to stay within a budget when we are only allowed a certain amount of to me in the design center. The choices are limited. Our particular floor plan, we weren’t allowed to do similar features like waterfall edge on the counter tops or a decorative hood vent in the kitchen. If I had known that from the beginning I might not have bought the home. 600k plus home and I have an apartment looking hood vent. Most items in the design center are extremely overpriced. 7-8k for moen black faucets and fixtures in 2500 sqft is massively overpriced. Most items in the design studio are just as overpriced. I easily overpaid for the house by about 75k. Spending nearly 150k over the base price (even with the builder incentives) was definitely not part of my thought process going into the build. The builders lender appraised at purchase price to approve the loan, but I’m not so sure it would sell for what I purchased it for. I don’t ultimately ever plan to move so I’m content with the house, but think there were things that could have been done to increase the transparency. In the end the quality is decent and the cost is over priced. I don’t feel like I will have quality issues like with some other builders so that does give me peace of mind. The best part about the house is the layout. One of the best layouts I have seen in any model regardless of price. Also, the tall ceilings standard was a really nice touch. ... More

My experience was very easy. I signed, went to the design center and before I knew it I moved in! The communication was very good throughout the entire process.

Excellent support has been provided for early closing of the house and scheduling of all repair works. All identified items were addressed exceeding our expectations.

Everything was great, both Denise and Nick were great. Home is spaced and functions as expected. I appreciate the build quality and workmanship. The house was expensive, but what isn't these days?

Great buying experience. Had some issue with quality but all resolved with some time.
