We are beyond pleased with our new home. From our first meeting with Linda in the sales office to post-closing small details with Don (and all parts in between), we always felt that we were valued and respected. We have been in our home long enough to receive full-month utility bills. The home is truly energy efficient and very comfortable. We thank you, Highland Homes and your great Woodforest team, for exceeding our expectations!

When moving to Bridgeland, we had hoped to build a Highland Home, but expected we would have to sacrifice size or features to construct one at our price point. Surprisingly, our sales associate considered our requests, picked a great plan and elevation, and provided considerable upgrades, while remaining in our budget. Constructing and financing through a Highland affiliate resulted in a seamless process, one in which it only took 3 months to construct and close on our home.

Chris was our builder and did an excellent job. He is very responsive, is on top of everything and is nice to work with.

Finding the plan to build the perfect home is the easy part. What sets Highland Homes apart from the rest is the support you will get during the construction of your home and after closing. Every new home will have bumps along the way, how those issues are handled is what is most important. Daniel, my builder, and Anita, my sales person, always made sure these issues were resolved. They both really emphasized they wanted us to be happy with our purchase. After building 5 homes, you don't see that kind of "old fashioned" work ethic very often. All the extra effort was appreciated.

Highland has been great since the start. They are quick to answer your question or concerns. They are very accommodating and trustworthy. I would recommend anyone to build with highland.

Highland has great floor plans to choose from. The process was easy and they take care of any issues the best they can. Lyndsay in the sales depart was great at helping with design choices. Giovanni the construction manager was most helpful in every way. He handles issues quickly and makes it a great experience. The only negative is possibly not getting all the options offered in the design center that I would have liked to get. Example elongated toilets instead of round ones, blinds not offered, and taller bathroom cabinets. But with that said it was a pleasant experience and I would buy from highland again. ... More

We just moved in our second Highland home and we couldn't be more pleased with our beautiful home. We checked with other builders, but their prices were high. We did look at Lennar, but they were unwilling to negotiate prices or make any changes, even like adding extra electric plugs to make the home more "Smart." Highland homes were priced much better than the other builders in our subdivision AND they bent-over-backwards to make changes to the house, we requested like moving the fireplace to new location, adding windows, adding floor and electric plugs, moving a bedroom closet to garage to add square footage to room and many more changes. Essentially, we were able to customize the home to fit our needs. Quality: we had inspectors review home during building process. One inspector remarked about how well Highland homes are built, from previous inspections. However, in our inspections he showed the extra steps Highland took for high energy efficiency and superior quality build. He said, "You normally only see these type of extras on million dollar custom build homes and these are standard on Highland." Also, he was so impressed with the plumbing, he took pictures to use as examples of how plumb the home right. He remarked that it was refreshing to inspect a home with so few and minor issues. Highland People: We visited many Highland communities model homes to get ideas for our home. Even though the sales people knew we were buying in another community, they still went out of their way to answer questions and to help us. Our sales counselor and building coordinator were very kind and trustworthy people who were exceptionally responsive to our questions and needs. Also, our designer truly understood what were looking for in a home, even though we were really not quite sure it even able to articulate what we wanted. She was able to magically bring a hodge-podge of ideas and desired and designed a beautiful home which looks like model quality and has all of the elements we love. Highland people are the kind of people you would choose to call "friend." So if you want to build your dream home at the right price, customize it to fit your lifestyle, and want to feel secure in the knowledge that your home is extremely well-built: buy a Highland. Good builder. They stand behind their warranty

During the construction of our home, the company made an error, installing something we had discussed but not ordered. When we noticed the error, they insisted on our NOT paying for that item. They acknowledged their error and paid for it. If I ever build another house, I will go to Highland.

Home was build with good quality and my builder is very responsive and patience to any of my issues/concerns.

Hector and Jovanny at Highland Home were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and very responsive to our questions and requests. They definitely made our first time building a home a great experience. Jovanny was also great at resolving many issues very quickly no matter how small or big.

Good builder, Megan the sales from Highland help to decide the material from beginning until closing. And the contractor guy dalton always updated me about the house
