This experience was perfect for me. Every wish was fulfilled and timely. All the services of the home was taken care of by knowledgeable trade personal. I had no worries and this is so important at 85 years old. Service at its very best and I love my Highland Home.

Helpful in the beginning. However, once we paid off for our unit the response got somehow slower. A lot slower i might add. Depends on your personal standards. I , personally wish they would focus more on detail. Life is made out of small things anyway and for or the $ they asked for our house we expected more serious professional kind of service. We paid for our unit 100% in full. Thank G.. we didn't have major issues like AC, Roof, Water, Foundation, or a anything of the kind. Generally speaking, my impression was a"spotty" kind of service,if there is such a category. A lots of room for improvement in the communication, job quality, responsiveness, and finishing department. Too bad but that's the truth. You hear a lots of " yes, no problem " but the reality is 87.5 % of the time you don't get the service you expect for the $ you paid in the beginning. But they are nice guys. Jason was great sales person and Jared was also great. Communication was great and upto our satisfaction. The only constructive feedback I would like to give them is that they should be consistent in offering upgrades to the neighbors for example there was an option to add a gate on the back fence which was missed for me where is there a couple of options that were missed for my neighbors. If there is a script that they can follow or list of items that they can follow for upgrades or any other things that could be great. Also there should be a way to record the walk-through meeting when they explain everything because it is hard to remember in the excitement of looking at the home. Great experience with builder, any issues were fixed right away and flexibility given to change plans along the way, highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a new home!

Jared continues to be very responsive in providing contractor names after we closed. He was highly communicative during the build process in providing weekly updates and addressing any questions or issues.

Sellers provided false information along the process and would not honor their word despite have pictures, emails and texts to prove what they said. It is almost impossible to contact people local and at corporate to have issues addressed.

Excellent experience. I have only had minor issues since moving in and they have all been resolved very quickly. Definitely looking forward to a second Highland home to invest in.

I have had a overall positive new home building experience with Highland Homes from exploring home models, lot selection, design, build, pre close walk through, and warranty process.

After we closed we were treated like enemies. Once in our new home we find the quality of workmanship very poor, having to touch up most of the staircase and wood work.

Overall great design and high quality but there have been a few issues that have come up. Most have been resolved in a professional and timely manner or hopefully will be soon. One outstanding item that we discovered was an issue with the property line and placement of the retaining wall and fence. Unfortunately, Highland was made aware of the issue but never brought it to our attention. We actually discovered the issue while hiring a pool company and a company to install and whole house generator. I brought this up with Highland management three weeks ago and am still waiting for resolution or a plan for resolution. With how tight the lots are it is a material issue for us, but we are hopeful that Highland will resolve the issue soon so we can continue to get the work done and enjoy our beautiful new home. I can't stress enough the great design and overall quality of the home which is what made us buy it. So house was extremely rushed went through a ton of repairs and touch ups to cabinets. Island needed replacement panels and work was not finished product.. Very poorly constructed but very pricy

What a great experience with our new home purchase from Highland Homes. Hunter was so helpful in the purchase process, Giovani and Andres, were excellent in our walk-through and any with any follow up items. We could not be happier with our purchase!

Good experience. Project manager was great. He was and still remains very responsive to any inquiries. I have enjoyed my purchase, other than one event, which was not the fault of the builders.

It went very smooth, they accommodated and earlier closing and were prompt when reached with questions.

John is an exceptional person. His attitude, character and his willingness to help is marvelous. I sincerely commend his display of warm character and sincerity of purpose. I will surely recommend friends and family to meet with John; for he is one of a kind.

We were moving from out-of-state and purchased the house without any in-person tours. The team checked on us many times throughout the process to make sure we were kept in the loop and aware of everything happening. When we showed up, everything in the house was exactly as promised and the team made sure we moved in smoothly.

The house was perfect based on our first visit and finally we bought the house. Unfortunately, we signed the documents with many pending issues to fix and has been an mess to get everything done. At this moment (after 2 months we bought) we still have some issues pending to fix and I do not going to call you guys any more. I will fix everything from my pocket and I will send you the bill. I know you guys are not going to pay me but this is my house and investment.

The salesman was great . But I’m disappointed in the price of the house and the material that was used for the price of the home i feel Rob because everything in the home is cheap from the mds molding that looks like he goes in a cheap apartment not a 900k home

I was so excited to build a Highland Home. Having lived in the birthplace of Highland Homes and seeing their style of home all over, it was a no brainer when I saw they built in the Houston area also. From start to finish, it was a headache. Now that I’m in the home, there’s issues every day and I’ve experienced bad attitudes from staff or no response at all. I am at the point of tip toeing around my house in fear of something else breaking and even worse anxiety when I think about guests coming and something falling apart of not operating. I’m saddened and disappointed from this long awaited experience and cannot recommend anyone to build a Highland Home in the future. ... More

Overall good experience. Did have many issues with trades but Highland rectified.

It was not an easy process given the nature of the market. Denise was supportive and attentive every step of the way. In addition to that, everyone that worked with us was supportive-we are grateful, and happy with our purchase.
