Overall they are very good, a pleasure to deal with. Afer purchasing the house, we've found some materials that lack quality, small items, but they should pay mor attention to those details

Working with our salesman, Hector, was great. He could be working on 10 projects and never miss a beat! Our builder, David, made great effort to accommodate our wishes-even when they couldn’t get our first choices in tile. They ripped a whole section out to redo tile to keep our original vision. After moving in, there have been the inevitable kinks. I’ve been impressed with every worker who has come back to make things right.

This experience was perfect for me. Every wish was fulfilled and timely. All the services of the home was taken care of by knowledgeable trade personal. I had no worries and this is so important at 85 years old. Service at its very best and I love my Highland Home.

Jason was great sales person and Jared was also great. Communication was great and upto our satisfaction. The only constructive feedback I would like to give them is that they should be consistent in offering upgrades to the neighbors for example there was an option to add a gate on the back fence which was missed for me where is there a couple of options that were missed for my neighbors. If there is a script that they can follow or list of items that they can follow for upgrades or any other things that could be great. Also there should be a way to record the walk-through meeting when they explain everything because it is hard to remember in the excitement of looking at the home. I have had a overall positive new home building experience with Highland Homes from exploring home models, lot selection, design, build, pre close walk through, and warranty process.

It was not an easy process given the nature of the market. Denise was supportive and attentive every step of the way. In addition to that, everyone that worked with us was supportive-we are grateful, and happy with our purchase.

From start to finish, the process was extremely smooth. The professionalism from the sales office, construction manager, and lender was absolutely outstanding. After moving in, I had a few minor warranty requests and the responsiveness to the issues were impressive and very much appreciated. I couldn't have chosen a better builder and would be the only one I would recommend in the entire development.

We decided to build with Highland because of the option to customize. Denise our sales rep was informative and thorough. Jim was our builder and he was truly a class act. I was so pleased with his responsiveness and his delivery of a great product. I love my home. We really built our forever home with Highland.

I purchased an inventory home. The purchasing experience was great, smooth sailing and closed on time. The sales representative and finance team were very responsive and courteous. The minor problems were readily addressed by the Quality Management team.

Overall great experience for us

We love our new Highland Home! We loved to high quality and beautiful layout, its perfect! Our Realtor, Kelli was/is amazing and has supported our home buying and move in from start to finish...she is a gem! We had a few one off's that were corrected immediately, however there were a few challenges with the large picture windows that needed them to be completely reframed and replaced. We are awaiting that to be scheduled, now that we know the issue. The construction manager is very friendly, however limited on his availability to assist timely or be present to ensure the communication with the contractor(s) on the issue is resolved with minimal impact to our time. On my first visit to the sales office, Hunter was able to knowledgeably answer all my questions- a crucial factor in my decision process. He remained responsive throughout the process offering design ideas that truly enhanced the home. I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Joseph as the CM from start to finish. The true test in any project of this magnitude is to observe how someone handles the inevitable challenges. Joseph was always the calm in the eye of the storm exhibiting professionalism and respect throughout. He was keenly aware that this particular build represented more than just a house. He instinctively said and followed through on the right things at the right time. In fact, I felt he treated this build as if it were his own. Painter didn’t do a good finishing

Build was fast and easy. Quality of material lacks and would have really liked a final clean to have the House ready to move in.

From initial contact to post-closing issue resolution, Highland has been great to work with. Would definitely recommend them. One suggestion: for the study/office, having a pre-wired (or more) Cat5 drop would be ideal. For those that work from home, hard-wiring the computer to internet connections is infinitely better.

By purchasing the model home. We did find some odds and ends that was damage which we understood because the house was a model home. But the garage was new and broke in a couple weeks. I can say Highland did not Wasted no time making sure the contractor took care of it ASAP. Other then that we love our home.

We were very happy with our homebuilding experience. In an era of shortages and delays, everything was on time and on budget. Our contact at Highland Homes was very knowledgeable and they were willing to work with us on some floorplan customizations that really made the home ours. We are enjoying getting settled!

We had a great experience with Highland Homes. We had a tight moving window, and our house was finished and ready to move in right when we needed it to be. Thanks to all the Highland Team for making it happen!

Overall, I'd give the experience 4 stars out of 5. Highland makes nice homes with good layouts that make you feel like you are in a bigger home, and don't pack the house with space you can't use. The houses have a lot of light and you can tell they are on a different level with quality. We were actually referred to Highland by some friends who lived in one in a different part of the state and loved it. The biggest disappointment was that when we moved in, there were several things on the house that weren't completed and should have been either verified or checked before we got there. We had to submit 7 warranty tickets within the first week of living in the home, for various issues ranging from the thermostat not going below 72 (due to a contractor lock on the thermostat), to the oven not being plugged in - general things which should have been addressed before we moved in. What I will say is that once we brought these things up/submitted warranty tickets, our Construction Manager helped out with getting repairs moving and everything was resolved in a very intrepid manner, and we haven't had any further issues out of the items we listed needing to be addressed. The people you work with are great and they are responsive to the warranty items, the only reason I can't give a perfect rating is because quite frankly the house wasn't ready when we moved in. Outside of that - which may likely just be my experience - Highland makes the best homes for the price range. ... More
