Highland Homes is very responsive, professional and organized builder. We got to purchase new house from Highland Homes and we're satisfied with the quality. Their office staff in Bridgeland, Cypress are very friendly, they helped us several times to manage some issues before moving the house. Danny and Brett always responded within a few minutes which means they care about customers, solve immediately their needs. We definitely recommend Highland Homes if you're buying your dream house within your budget.

Overall I am happy, however there are things that we are noticing now that we have lived in this house for one month that are disappointing. Corners cut and sloppy jobs make for cautious recommendations from my side.

I closed on my home in March and builder still has not completed my master bath. Upgrades that were paid for were never installed. Untrustworthy project managers! I had my home inspected before closing and manager said he fixed problems and never did! I’ve had to put in so many warranty requests, I’ve lost count! My husband and I rearrange our schedules to accommodate them and they are constant no call, no show. We are contacting our attorney. Enough is enough! We paid so much money for this house. Experience started out great with a lot of support, but ended up falling short at the end. When I moved in my breaker to washer and dryer was broken, My AC wiring was not connected, and my heat was not turned on. With a new baby this was difficult and felt these things should have been caught.

Highland builds a great home and the design center experience was one of the better ones we have had out of all the homes we built. The new home consultant was very enthusiastic and knowledge and was an advocate for us as buyers throughout the process. Our construction manager was a joy to work with and was very responsive to issues raised during the build process. Job site cleanliness was one area that was a bit frustrating, but overall the end project was great!

Overall, the home is beautiful. But considering what we paid for the home, the small details should not have been overlooked. Doorknobs are crooked, gaps in the caulking between the floor and baseboards, doorframes aren't level, causing several doors not to shut properly.

Overall, I have a good experience with purchasing Highlandhome.

They take care for their home buyers and the team that we worked with was phenomenal. From Mr. Jeff our salesman with his knowledge, Mrs. Judy with her wisdom, Mrs Jessica our design center coordinator which has a gift for making a home beautiful and fit to you, and finally Mr. Brian for building my family our dream home and keeping us in the know throughout the entire process and even after the house was built still tend to our needs. I want to thank them for all that they do. We love our Highland Home!

Terrible quality workmanship, would not recommend!

Overall, we had a good homebuying experience. Unfortunately some of the workmanship was sloppy and not attentive to detail and involved a lot of fixes after the fact (e.g. all electrical switches and caps covered in paint, caulking issues, lot of spaces missing paint, uneven flooring, stair balusters covered in spray paint, trims around door and windows unevenly cut, protruding nails throughout the house, concrete in front of house is full of cracks and chips, empty space left between caps and pipes). My friend's Highland Homes did not have this many issues. We do recognize that Highland Homes has been coming out and fixing some of the issues. We still have outstanding items that need to be fixed. The laminate floor People blamed the floor issues on the carpet people and dull have not fixed my floor. A big hole was in the soffit. They came by and replaced the wood without painting it. Water was dripping through our room AC vent during the Freeze. Technician found no issues. Sprinkler system hasn’t worked since Freeze. Cabinet work had not been completed. Etcetera!!!

Sales Rep and Builder were great to work with for the most part. There were some workmanship issues that remained unresolved at the time of closing, which was not satisfactory for us. Overall, we have a well built home.

Follows through on commitments, and was great to work with.

Highland stands behind there product.

Colin was the most attentive builder I have worked with. The home was built in timely fashion, with minor issues along the way.

We were on a Sunday drive through Woodforest when we decided to walk through Highland Homes in the Crest area. Hunter highlighted the features and floorplans which turned us into buyers.

I enjoyed the ability to choose from so many options while also receiving impressive standard options as well!
