We love our floor plan and the high ceilings and quality of workmanship that Highland offers. We loved our sales person and project manager who were with us the whole time our house was being built . They were very responsive in fixing the few issues we had after closing.

Very happy with our new home. From sales to customer service/support, all personnel have responded quickly and gained our trust.

Sheetrock in living room was poorly installed. I had to move my furniture four times while they tried to fix a botched drywall job on high slanted ceiling. That I was promised would be re-done. They kept patching it. Now the head guy is saying ‘it’s not in the warranty.” They rush through everything. Was walking on the carpet and had a tack stick me in my barefoot...I gave them a 3star on responsiveness because they got back to me a 2days-week later. Trustworthy: The sales team were great...the builders that’s another story. I don’t trust them. I think I got a good deal on price and extras...I just wished they had done the house right the first time. I can still see waves in my ceiling. Drawers on cabinets are too small and narrow for anything (Kent Moore design). Overall, I like the house. But, I hate my ceiling. ... More

I probably would've have had a better experience with a another builder. They just want your houses done quick no matter what the condition. No communication after 1 month there was a big 10×10 hole in the middle of my yard and no one said anything about until i had to complain of course and 3 weeks later and the hole is STILL there.

From the beginning of the process, December 2019, Megan, our sales rep, went above and beyond to answer our questions or concerns that we had. We purchased our property before our section of the neighborhood had been started and before Highland officially started building in the neighborhood so there were growing pains associated with that. The whole process could have been streamlined had we known every option that was available from the start. Throughout the whole process we had to essentially inundate our sales rep with questions about things we could have put in the house, things that are now readily available to all purchases, ie. Black exterior and interior windows. Megan did her best to get our questions answered asap but it seemed like corporate didn't have the answers themselves. Again, Megan went above and beyond and did an amazing job. Overall quality of the house...some aspects are good and others not so much. The trim work around the house is sub par and cheap. The caulking used to seal has already started splitting, seams and taping on the drywall have started splitting, which was explained to us by our construction manager is not covered to have repaired by highland since its from settling. Correction tape and floating issues are covered but not seems in the caulking and nail pops. One of our corners in the kitchen trim is wonky and not plum, neither is the wall. Exterior paint job is spotty and shotty and the trades used throughout the process have zero respectability in their work. Touch up done on trim around the house was not painted properly after repairs were made to it. Stain in the master bathroom tub hasn't been able to be removed. Cracks on the corners of walls, and the list goes on. For a company that I've heard nothing but good things about some of the work quality is lower than builder grade at best. Need to be more attentive to the trades they hire and be on-site more to make sure they're doing their jobs and cleaning up their trash. I should not be finding fragments, large fragments at that, of brick and trash throughout my yard under flower beds and sod. ... More

Wasn’t a very pleasant home purchase. We had issues from the day we moved in and had to reach out many times to get things fixed.

Friendly, helpful and responsive from all areas. It was a pleasure and painless.

After shopping around for a builder we decided to go with Highland Homes. Highland had amazing floor plans to choose from and even allowed us to make structural changes for our needs. Their products are all equipped with smart home features, high Ceilings and a open concept feel. Their skilled craftsmanship, commitment , and everyone from sales to management were very professional. I highly recommend Highland to Anyone.

Love the home, but due to COVID, they took very long to come and fix a few issues with our home. Still waiting on things that haven’t been taken care of.

Highland homes shines with quality and craftsmanship. After seeing many homes on the market, we instantly fell in love with our Highland home. Open concept, Rigid Core Flooring, Grand staircase entrance with wrought Iron and covered patio. I would definitely rate them as a top builder in Bridgeland Community.

Very pleased with our home. Very comfortable and satisfied. Surprised there were no spouting on rear roof over patio. That should not be an option; it is as essential as spouting on front roof.

Overall satisfied with the Purchase

Aside from the last minute changes that emerged with the home (as things often do) and the resultant negative impact on the financing through HH Loans, everything went quite well. Home is still going through checklist of items, but they are being taken care of.

We absolutely love our home and thoughtfulness on how it was built. The building materials used are of high quality. Our only concern is the quality of the bathroom cabinets is not what we would have expected for this price point. Our home buying process went well and Highlands exceeded our expectations with their professionalism.

I have never purchased a new home before but the experience I have had with Highland Homes has exceeded my expectations. I thought we would be unable to afford a new home and I was wrong. From the sales contract to the responsiveness to issues, Highland has delivered. We had a few minor issues to be resolved after closing and Highland far exceeded my expectations to take care of these items and to do it in a timely fashion. I have no reservations to recommend Highland Homes to my friend and family. Thank you Highland Homes!

We were 8 hours away while house was being built. Salesman keep us in the loop and was very easy to get in touch with. We were disappointed in the standard choices at the design center and had to upgrade just about everything. House was completed exactly on schedule. Some things that you would think would be standard were upgrades. Such as ethernet drops in office and entertainment room, coach lights on front of house, different color paint, under cabinet lighting, ceiling fans in all rooms. Still trying to get things resolved after living here for two months. Worry about issues, I’ve heard about since moving in . Painting was poor.

First time building a home and glad we did it with Highland. Jeff and Judy were easy to work with in the office and Bryan was and continues to be responsive with our home. The materials were excellent so far and workmanship was good, any issues I had were quickly addressed. Nothing is ever perfect and they will fix anything which is not up to standard. There are a few things I wish I could have added or changed, but those are minor compared to what I got. There is a lot of issues with the cosmetic lights already broke down the outside lamp the light bulb never has work the garage doesn’t have a motor I found out in the final walk the paint work on trim no good on the laundry room the box for the wiring cámaras doesn’t latch I have a tape tape out to the wall No paint kit all the trim around the house it’s started to crack don’t understand why since they are using water base paint but I know they gonna blame the foundation settlement the reason is they are caulking and not giving enough time for the caulk to dry and many more stuff

They response issue but they don’t solve the problem. And the materials quality are not good.

Excellent quality and services

For a house of that value, one would expect to see higher quality fittings eg light, tiles and wooden cabinets. In addition a better utilization of the space especially to increase the size of the rooms. Carpets are no longer necessary in bedrooms due to allergy issues so could have been tiles or wood for the floors.

Highland made it very easy to buy our home. We would buy again from them.

We just moved into our new home 1 month ago and everything seems to be just perfect. We really loved the design and the materials used in the house. I definitely had good purchasing experience with this new home!
