We have been very pleased with David, our point of contact throughout the construction of our home. He was proactive and quick to address any issues or concerns we had along the way. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our new home. Also, we dealt with Manny prior to construction and he was a pleasure to work with.

Low quality materials and not clear plan picture manager doesn't know details about plan hights and all, felt very bad experience after spending 500k, nobody comes for proper service after moving and payment completed

The house is very nice. Every person I’ve worked with was a wonderful. I feel like there was some things that were too rushed through and was some visible. When I asked for something to be done, though, everyone listened and explained the situation and took care of what I needed.

I bought a Highland home because of their wonderful reputation however, I was disappointed in the quality of work and the oversight. While I love the home itself there were many issues during construction and after. The finishes of the house are poorly done and it feels like cheap labor was used just to complete the job. I thought Highland was known for great customer service however, was disappointed in being brushed off by the construction manager. As experienced homebuyers, my family and I were eager to embark on this journey, but it proved to be a mix of challenges and positives. The process highlighted varying levels of service across different stages, which I’ll detail below. Ultimately, while some aspects fell short, others exceeded our expectations, leading to a completed home we’re proud of. The sales phase was unfortunately the most disappointing part of our experience, primarily due to our interactions with Kelly. She was consistently non-responsive to emails, often taking days or weeks to reply, if at all. Verbally, her information was inaccurate, and she frequently contradicted her own statements in follow-up emails regarding the sales process. This lack of consistency eroded any confidence we had in her guidance, making the initial steps feel chaotic and unreliable. In contrast, the contracting and construction phases were handled exceptionally well by Jonathan, who restored our faith in the process. He was highly responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls, addressing every concern promptly and thoroughly. Jonathan invested significant time sitting down with us to ensure all specific details were accurately captured and implemented. His respectful and understanding approach in every customer service interaction made him the standout highlight of our Highland Homes experience, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to others. Financing and closing were smooth and efficient, thanks to Nancy’s outstanding support. She excelled in communication, providing timely and clear updates throughout. Her accuracy with data and documentation gave us peace of mind during these critical final stages. We appreciated her professionalism and would be happy to work with her again on any future endeavors. Everyone we have worked with at Highland Homes has been incredible!! We purchased at Cross Creek West and originally met with Virginia at Jordan Ranch and she was absolutely incredible! We needed to buy a quick move in, so we ended up finding the right one in cross creek west with Manny! He was fantastic as well! I would highly recommend either of these sales professionals!!! We purchased an inventory home from Highland that was about 95% complete when we went under contract. With a 30-day closing, there wasn’t much time between completion and move-in. We only met with the builder once prior to the final walk-through, which took place just a few hours before closing. During that walk, I identified several issues that needed correction before closing. Unfortunately, after closing, most of those items still hadn’t been completed. I had to take additional time off work on multiple occasions to have those items addressed. That said, the overall **quality of the home itself is excellent**, and I would still **highly recommend Highland for their craftsmanship and product quality**. However, the **builder and sales team’s communication and follow-up could definitely be improved**. We also had a disappointing experience with our sales representative. After our loan approval, we never heard from her again—no updates, no congratulations, not even a message on closing day. She wasn’t available to hand us our keys, so we had to pick them up from someone we’d never met at the model home. We’ve even seen her since, showing nearby homes, but she still hasn’t acknowledged us. It was an incredible experience. From the beginning I knew I wanted a highland home. It had everything I was looking for. The structure and finesse spoke volume. The manager Mike was amazing, the construction manager Ray ensured I was well informed. Loved the team and I plan to own more Highland homes in the nearest future. Thank you

My wife & I have been in our home for a little over 2 months now and still marvel at how beautiful it is! Highland, and David B. with Highland, have been great throughout the process. From planning, build, closing, and follow-up, he's been our ally throughout the process doing whatever it takes to ensure everything goes smoothly. The communication, pictures, etc. were all very much appreciated, especially with us living 5 hours away during the construction process.

The entire process was good, and I was fairly compensated for the six months delay. The house was exactly as I expected it to be. I am happy with the price I paid; it was a good value. Highlands Homes is a trustworthy company; they provided everything that was promised to me, I would recommend Highland Homes for anyone planning to build.

Building a Highland Home is a one-of-a-kind experiences and an unforgettable experience. The entire team was an absolute delight to work with. Jason and Jared were especially great.

City to the Suburbs When we first started looking for a new home we weren’t expecting to fall for our Highland Home the way we did. We honestly were just entertaining the idea of moving from the city to the suburbs but the home was so amazing. Jason was great from our first model home tour to being so flexible with our schedule and understanding of what we were looking for as a family. Jared was so informative during our walk through and had been so responsive even after closing with questions or issues we came across. We are satisfied with out home buying experience.

This has been by far one of the best house buying experience I have had so far. They have taken care of every single warranty item. Makenna is very responsive and has taken care of us since day one.

We had a great experience from time we walked into the model home. The sale personnel was wonderful and very informed about the home and the future of neighborhood. The builder was outstanding. He answered all questions and made many changes that we ask for and still made closing date. They made sure we were informed and our dream home was a huge success. The most important thing which never happens is that they have been engaged since closing making sure we had all we needed. Highland Homes is outstanding and caring. They are in this for the home owner happiest.

Our experience with Highland Homes was positive from the sales side of the transaction. Both of the sales persons we worked with were attentive before, during, and after the sale. Hector continues to be a great resource, even a month after living in the house. The construction side of the transaction was nothing short of disappointing. The subcontractors used are subpar with no accountability or pride for craftsmanship. Every aspect of the house required rework other than the quartz countertops. Rework to a degree is expected; however, for a couple examples, brick was redone several times due to install quality issues, tile was installed and redone three times, wrong light and plumbing fixtures installed, the upstairs HVAC system was not working prior to closing, and one month after living in the home, is still not fixed. The list literally goes on. The issue with all of this is the construction manager was not identifying these issues himself due to lack of supervision of the project, and poor management of correcting the issues, resulting in things having to be redone several times before being acceptable. We sent weekly emails with lists of items that needed to be corrected because they were not being identified by the construction manager. Many of these issues would have been buried or would have caused many other issues if not addressed in real time. We ended up with a beautiful house because we managed the build. to many things were undocumented about the community for us being one of the early buyers that became concerning (power poles, location of mail boxes, timing for amenities) . the amount of time allowed in the design center was not enough if you want to review materials outside the "free" selections. the construction process is very wasteful and reactive - fixing things at the end versus at the time of the installment to avoid noticeable patch work. The sales team support and closing process was great and easy. the construction checkpoints and walkthroughs were very helpful. we had a few items carry over items after close and ALL of the items were addressed promptly ... The Building Process was fun. There was a couple of things that scared me while we where building like beer cans and crack pipes that where found at my homesite that was kinda brushed off from the salesman but the construction manger did apologize for that. A couple of days before closing there was a huge water leak that flooded the front half of the house but was fixed. We have been in the home for two months now and still find issues that get addressed asap. The only issue I’m still having are the quality of my cabinets and still fighting to get them to repaint them or replace them.

Overall, good experience with sales person and loan officer and initial phase of home buying. Not so good with construction supervisor. Move in cleaning was promised but not done. Some repair work was notified before the closing but not done until notified again. Expected better customer service experience.

We were able to close on a new build in 30 days. Great experience.

We have purchased many homes but this has been the best experience & the least stressful. From sales person Sandra, to the construction manager Dalton & Wendy at the design center; all are professional, responsive & easy to work with. They addressed any issues we had & in a very timely manner. The home was built properly & professionally. We had other options but glad we chose Highland. We will be here for a long time.
