Everyone we have worked with at Highland Homes has been incredible!! We purchased at Cross Creek West and originally met with Virginia at Jordan Ranch and she was absolutely incredible! We needed to buy a quick move in, so we ended up finding the right one in cross creek west with Manny! He was fantastic as well! I would highly recommend either of these sales professionals!!! David was hands down the most patient construction manager I have met and super detail oriented!!! Douglas with the loan was seamless! We purchased an inventory home from Highland that was about 95% complete when we went under contract. With a 30-day closing, there wasn’t much time between completion and move-in. We only met with the builder once prior to the final walk-through, which took place just a few hours before closing. During that walk, I identified several issues that needed correction before closing. Unfortunately, after closing, most of those items still hadn’t been completed. I had to take additional time off work on multiple occasions to have those items addressed. That said, the overall **quality of the home itself is excellent**, and I would still **highly recommend Highland for their craftsmanship and product quality**. However, the **builder and sales team’s communication and follow-up could definitely be improved**. We also had a disappointing experience with our sales representative. After our loan approval, we never heard from her again—no updates, no congratulations, not even a message on closing day. She wasn’t available to hand us our keys, so we had to pick them up from someone we’d never met at the model home. We’ve even seen her since, showing nearby homes, but she still hasn’t acknowledged us. My wife & I have been in our home for a little over 2 months now and still marvel at how beautiful it is! Highland, and David B. with Highland, have been great throughout the process. From planning, build, closing, and follow-up, he's been our ally throughout the process doing whatever it takes to ensure everything goes smoothly. The communication, pictures, etc. were all very much appreciated, especially with us living 5 hours away during the construction process.

The entire process was good, and I was fairly compensated for the six months delay. The house was exactly as I expected it to be. I am happy with the price I paid; it was a good value. City to the Suburbs When we first started looking for a new home we weren’t expecting to fall for our Highland Home the way we did. We honestly were just entertaining the idea of moving from the city to the suburbs but the home was so amazing. Jason was great from our first model home tour to being so flexible with our schedule and understanding of what we were looking for as a family. This has been by far one of the best house buying experience I have had so far. They have taken care of every single warranty item. Makenna is very responsive and has taken care of us since day one.

We had a great experience from time we walked into the model home. The sale personnel was wonderful and very informed about the home and the future of neighborhood. The builder was outstanding. He answered all questions and made many changes that we ask for and still made closing date. They made sure we were informed and our dream home was a huge success. The most important thing which never happens is that they have been engaged since closing making sure we had all we needed. Highland Homes is outstanding and caring. They are in this for the home owner happiest.

Our experience with Highland Homes was positive from the sales side of the transaction. Both of the sales persons we worked with were attentive before, during, and after the sale. Hector continues to be a great resource, even a month after living in the house. The construction side of the transaction was nothing short of disappointing. The subcontractors used are subpar with no accountability or pride for craftsmanship. Every aspect of the house required rework other than the quartz countertops. Rework to a degree is expected; however, for a couple examples, brick was redone several times due to install quality issues, tile was installed and redone three times, wrong light and plumbing fixtures installed, the upstairs HVAC system was not working prior to closing, and one month after living in the home, is still not fixed. The list literally goes on. The issue with all of this is the construction manager was not identifying these issues himself due to lack of supervision of the project, and poor management of correcting the issues, resulting in things having to be redone several times before being acceptable. We sent weekly emails with lists of items that needed to be corrected because they were not being identified by the construction manager. Many of these issues would have been buried or would have caused many other issues if not addressed in real time. We ended up with a beautiful house because we managed the build. to many things were undocumented about the community for us being one of the early buyers that became concerning (power poles, location of mail boxes, timing for amenities) . the amount of time allowed in the design center was not enough if you want to review materials outside the "free" selections. the construction process is very wasteful and reactive - fixing things at the end versus at the time of the installment to avoid noticeable patch work. The sales team support and closing process was great and easy. the construction checkpoints and walkthroughs were very helpful. we had a few items carry over items after close and ALL of the items were addressed promptly ... The Building Process was fun. There was a couple of things that scared me while we where building like beer cans and crack pipes that where found at my homesite that was kinda brushed off from the salesman but the construction manger did apologize for that. A couple of days before closing there was a huge water leak that flooded the front half of the house but was fixed. We have been in the home for two months now and still find issues that get addressed asap. The only issue I’m still having are the quality of my cabinets and still fighting to get them to repaint them or replace them.

Overall, good experience with sales person and loan officer and initial phase of home buying. Not so good with construction supervisor. Move in cleaning was promised but not done. Some repair work was notified before the closing but not done until notified again. Expected better customer service experience.

We were able to close on a new build in 30 days. Great experience.

We have purchased many homes but this has been the best experience & the least stressful. From sales person Sandra, to the construction manager Dalton & Wendy at the design center; all are professional, responsive & easy to work with. They addressed any issues we had & in a very timely manner. The home was built properly & professionally. We had other options but glad we chose Highland. We will be here for a long time.

David was such a great and responsive project manager from the beginning of structural selections to the closing walkthrough appointments. He explained everything thoroughly at our appointments and during the final walkthrough the house. He was able to send extra pictures and videos of our house throughout the phases and super flexible with our out-of-state schedule. He was very friendly and easy to work with by communicating through text/phone calls. David addressed all of our concerns and requests after we closed. They do not respond to customer complaints! My house had several issues, plumbing( leaking pipes, grout cracks in shower, and around primary tub, they damaged my guest tub and tried to patch it up thinking that I would not notice. Drywall unleveled through out the house, driveway damaged, gate handle bent, kitchen cabinet under stove does not open. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets damaged!!! Several windows damaged, sensors fell off the windows. I could go on but I am so frustrated. All of this is as before I closed. They were supposed to fix the items. Kept getting the run around from the project manager!!! Lies basically!!! We will take care of it. Set up a several dates for availability and no response! Only when they want to be available? The is no miscommunication, just lack of accountability from the builder. Yesterday my family member was at the house all day and only the grout guy showed up. The cabinet, paint, tub guy to fix the tub…concrete guy for the driveway. It’s been two months. I just made the first payment on a lemon! I have made several complaints.
