We decided to build with Highland while loving from out of state. The friendliness and knowledge of ***** in the sales office made the difference for us. She was incredibly patient and helpful with all our questions and concerns with trying to build from so far away. Once we got started, the updates from ***** and ***** were amazing. They could always be reached for questions along the way, and sent very thorough updates on the progress. Our home turned out beautiful and is exactly what we were expecting and hoping for. We are excited to start our next chapter in our beautiful new home.

I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the work done on our highland home. I would have thought the quality would have been better since this is luxury home buying. I was disappointed to see some of the items that were missed along with the returning of issues. Along with the cracks and the shifting of the home as it settles give me great concern. However I do know that these can be fixed. The concern is the long term impacts.

Our second Home buying experience was definitely different from our previous one. Now having lived in our home for a few months, the novelty hasn’t worn off. The quality found in our brand new Highland Home house is certainly exceptional. I am most happy to share, very loudly, our elation and content with HH.

Building with Highland Homes was a wonderful experience. From contract to close the sales team and construction manager were always available to answer any questions we had. We've been in our home a few months now and are thankful everyday that we made the choice to build with Highland. We love our home!

They made building my new home a fun and enjoyable journey, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering building their dream home.

I love my new community. Between working with my Realtor, and Teri with Highland Holmes they both made everything such a smooth process. Everyone was very professional and accommodating, and listened to my needs and wants. I was extremely happy with the finished product. And I loved working with the design group as well.

My experience with Highland did not meet the level of quality I expected. The team is very attentive during the sales process, but once closing is complete, the follow‑up and customer support seem to disappear. Follow‑through is one of the most important parts of any home purchase, and Highland needs to remember that. The workmanship has the potential to be excellent, but only if the crews take their time and do the job correctly the first time. For example, I watched a worker remove a tree from my backyard. Even though he had bags of planting soil on his truck, he chose instead to fill the hole with dry dirt taken from the empty lot next door. Why weren’t the bags of topsoil used in my yard as intended? Buying a home from highland was a great experience they went out there way to help with everything I needed to get approved Alan was great strongly recommended using him out his team he was always there when I had a question and always had an answer for me or he would get someone else with the answer. What can I say about the house it’s beautiful you really get your money’s worth they use high end materials over all strongly recommend buying a highland home

We purchased a new home in homestead community. The buying process was great from Terri to the financial was seamless. We had an issue with the garage door they fixed and took care of very quickly which was great. However I feel the used the cheapest products in the home from the carpet which looks like it’s 10 years old after only 2 months. We only have three people living in the house and we don’t abuse or walk back and forth like a busy street for it to be worn down so quickly. Also faucets and other products used were very cheap quality. We also have no mailbox after months of living in the house and we have been getting the run around on when we will have a mailbox. We currently have to go back and forth to the post office to get mail! The sod that was put down is subpar full of weeds and just throw down most smooth lumps and looks bad, hard to mow! Noticed careless craftsmanship after being in the house as well after paying 500k you would think you would get a quality product sadly I don’t !! ... More

Seamless process conducting walkthrough and was flexible making amends on some demands. Quality building materials.

Alan, David, and Lance kept us in the loop throughout the entire buying/building process. Gai from the loan department, also did great reaching back to us whenever we had questions. We hired a 3rd party inspector for the pre-drywall inspection and final inspection. David and Lance addressed and fixed ALL the concerns our inspector found. I would highly recommend Highland Homes to all our family and friends.

I would recommend Highland Homes. It was a great buying experience, the customer service was great and the warranty period responsiveness is great.

The first time we stepped into Highland Homes, we knew we wanted to buy from them. The whole process was smooth, and we are so happy we did. The sellers and the builder manager were the best. I would not recommend any other builder.

Cris, Gigi & Skyler were an amazing team for my buying experience in new Braunfels. They were all incredibly responsive, showed empathy and caring for me having a positive experience with Highland Homes. They were also incredibly accommodating with my request and concerns. They took the time to explain why they could or could not accommodate different requests. They also have continued to be warm and friendly and accommodating post sale. I would highly recommend the New Braunfels team for anybody shopping for a new construction or spec home.
