From the first meeting with Sue in the model home at Veramandi, we were treated with the utmost professionalism. She educated us about the wonderful aspects of and the amenities included in Highland Homes. She listened to our requirements and found us a lot and home design that matched our needs perfectly. We were then guided thru the various phases of making our new home a reality. Sue and Kevin smoothly got us through the change orders to customize the home to our desires. Then we were connected with our amazing construction manager, Alex. Alex was one of the most meticulous individuals we have ever worked with. He kept us in the loop from the lot prep until our final walk-thru. He set accurate expectations on our completion date and even brought the timeline in to our pleasant surprise. He earned our trust early in the stages due to his own high expectations on the jobs to be done. The excellent service did not end on our home completion. Highland Homes has a great mobile app to place warranty issues, questions, requests. My recent purchase with Highland Homes in Gruene Villages, was exceptional. The sales staff (Mark), went above and beyond in my opinion to help us navigate the process, as we delt with a difficult sale of our current home at the same time. Since our purchase was complete, the Post Sale help has continued. Every issue (which to date has been minor), has been handled extremely well and very promptly. The onsite Builder (James) has been an exceptional resource with questions and issues that have come up to date.

David sent my introduction to him, has always been prompt, patient,, informative, and affective. He has always answered my questions and clarified any issue or problem that arises. He is quick to resolve any issues or discrepancies in an extremely timely manner. He makes herself available, and his customer service is exceptional. Between Alan, the sales person, and David, I could not be more happy with my purchase. They both put kept me at ease and insured me that everything would be just fine throughout this process. I love my new home.

I trouble say that Sue and Spencer and everyone else helped right away with anther needed done! I have to say this had probably the best experience I’ve had from building to buying g existing. The o oh. Complaint I had are the cheap door knonbs. The cheap fiberglass in the barren of the shower I would take a house of this. Calibrlber would have put nicer fixtures in ah half a million dollars, you should her a house with nicer fixtures. But o their thank that everyone wa wheezy!over all I’ve been very a Happy with HH

We were extremely nervous to buy from a homebuilder again, as our first experience was very unpleasant. Highland worked with us every step of the way, was super responsive, and accommodated our wishes (like our external inspector that came to every inspection). We live in a mixed neighborhood of various homebuilders, and you can tell which are Highland Homes. The quality is absolutely higher. We did lots of Googling and review-reading prior to selecting Highland, and it was a great decision. They are also super responsive after the fact and have taken good care of us. I’ll start with the positives and say the ladies (Debbie & Lindsay) in the sales office were amazing. Best experience we had when it comes to home-buying. They were on top of their game and pleasant to work with. Doug Dreiman was great and continues to answer our questions three months after closing. However, we’re disappointed with our home experience after closing. Most service requests have been fulfilled in a timely manner. However, there are details in and outside our home that lack quality and remain to be resolved. We flagged issue before closing that were told were resolved but were ignored. WE have trusses sticking out on our roof and told that’s just what it is. The white trim boards in our home were poorly installed with nails and blemishes that are noticeable. We had a used dishwasher in our home that was registered to someone else, were told no reason to cover up the cracked grout on the foundation because it will crack, and found a broken shower rod in a restroom but was told it’s better to buy one ourselves. Three months into our home and we’re still waiting on items we flagged before closing. I would highly recommend not to close or sign till the house is to your liking. I would also recommend hiring your own inspector, not sure if Highland resolved issues on their inspection report. ... More

The issues we have are all post move-in for and finish and the lack of responsiveness and caring. Things were told to us that never occurred or multiple tickets were submitted for the same issue over the course of weeks. At week eight there are still unresolved issues from move in.

Having built a home in the past and later moving to another custom home, we did not see ourselves as ever purchasing a home from a large builder like Highland. But due to a time restraint, we ended up doing just that. Highland is one of the few builders not using stucco and they are responsive, professional and caring.

We have moved into our beautiful home and love it very much We have had some issues here and there but that’s to be expected in any new home but they come immediately to resolve or fix any issues right away this has been amazing on their part. The accommodations for making my home for my needs has also been amazing and greatly aapreciated

We had been looking at this builder and floorplan for about two when we were finally ready to move forward. Our sales counselor, Thea, was absolutely amazing to work with - she was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She set and managed our expectations by communicating frequently and thoroughly throughout the process. Our construction manager, Clayton, was spectacular to work with. His attention to detail and communication style allowed me to feel at ease with the entire process. He was available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure everything went smoothly. Late in the process, Clayton was reassigned to a different neighborhood, and our new construction manager was Chuck. My wife and I were very nervous about the change, but Thea and Chuck ensured it was seamless. Chuck's passion for homebuilding was very evident. He was able to finish our build and met all of our expectations. Our house has had some very minor issues (as I am sure most new builds do), but Chuck has responded quickly and resolved them to our complete satisfaction! ... More

Working with the Highland office girls and the construction supervisor has been overall positive. I have been in the home since mid November, and continue to find things that the actual construction workers missed doing or did poorly. I guess it's hard to find good carpentry these days. The Highland homes have good curb appeal, that's what caught my eye.

We bought a new construction build as first-time home buyers. The process was very straightforward - everything from the mortgage to closing went smoothly. Also had check-in with the builder 30 days after closing and were able to go over questions and have some minor issues fixed. The few small issues we have noticed were very promptly fixed and covered under warranty.

Everyone from day one was amazing, could not ask for a better home buying experience.

The sales department was very helpful and accommodating. I have watched the community grow for several years and progress seems on schedule. The only item that I am disappointed with is very few home owners use the garage for cars. Large trucks parked in the driveways litter the entire community. I was raised in Texas and I know it’s part of the culture but I think it diminishes the beauty of a planned community.

Karen and Travis made this process so easy and seamless. They were there every step of the way and were there any time we had any questions. The process could not have been more smooth.
