Lane, our builder is fantastic!

Everyone from day one was amazing, could not ask for a better home buying experience.

The sales department was very helpful and accommodating. I have watched the community grow for several years and progress seems on schedule. The only item that I am disappointed with is very few home owners use the garage for cars. Large trucks parked in the driveways litter the entire community. I was raised in Texas and I know it’s part of the culture but I think it diminishes the beauty of a planned community.

Karen and Travis made this process so easy and seamless. They were there every step of the way and were there any time we had any questions. The process could not have been more smooth.

The Highland Homes experience from the showing of my new home, to the buying of the home, the mortgage process through Highland Homes was and continues to be outstanding. Didn’t know what to expect in the beginning with the design and building process, but once communicating that we were interested and involved in the building process along the way, we were able to find trust in the Highland process. There were a couple of early issues, but Highland worked to provide acceptable solutions. Most important, we were grateful of the support and the timeliness of addressing issues of concern during the early stages of the warranty process after construction completion. The project manager was extremely helpful ensuring our satisfaction.

The Sales Counselor for Mesa Western exemplify everything that is great about building with Highland Homes. Ivy is a gem!!

Workmanship in different communities are not the same as other communities also the customer service. Highland Homes should have same standards in all of their communities. Would not purchase another Highland Home.

Overall such a great experience from start to finish. I firmly believe the value for money is hard to beat with Highland.

I am still waiting for light fixtures that were broke and another cracked, a crack I. Window front door repair and paint of shutter. I had one follow up but now nothing. I know they are busy just would like updates

Hunter and Johnathan have been very efficient in meeting my needs when there is a problem with something in my home and in a timely manner and they are very nice people. They get the job done.

We had an outstanding experience with Highland Homes while building our new home. From the beginning, Jon, the sales associate, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process. He was always available to answer our questions and made sure we were confident in every decision. His professionalism and knowledge made the process as stress-free as possible. If a veteran they help with everything you need to buy a home.

Overall a great experience. The salesman, Kevin did a great job and was very helpful to reach the end product. I do believe there is a problem with some of the construction personnel understanding the product that Highland Homes wants delivered to the buyer. This is our second Highland Home and they stand behind their word of getting it finished to that standard.

James has been outstanding to work with. He is very courteous and listens to any concerns you might have. Most importantly, he follows thru in a timely manner. As a homeowner he lets you know he is there for you!

Jon, the salesman, was shady and would tell us whatever he thought would get us to sign. Fortunately for us, we always recorded and/or had a witness present to validate our statements. We had to deal directly with the regional lead to finally come to a resolution, including intentionally misleading us regarding the 20k incentive. He was just as deceptive regarding what changes we could make (we wanted a circular tub). After our earnest deposit cleared, it came to light that we couldn’t do that. He also misled us by 2 weeks regarding closing (the date changed within a week after we went under contract and the construction manager had no idea why the salesman had fabricated the completion date). After we moved inC we had continuous issues with the air conditioners and plumbing (hot water would either take more than 6 minutes to actually get hot, or we would lose the hot water mid-shower). It took at least 3 attempts per issue to make progress. We will see if the latest bandaids work or not. Of note, the construction managers (David and Caleb) have been amazing through it all and are the only reason we haven’t already filed suit against highland. ... More

Well there were many excuses. Change of builders, weather, rushing/more time, etc. They literally built my garage in the wrong spot and then messed up the island. Luckily we caught the island in time to fix it. But I now have a garage that is not functioning the way I needed it to be. The tile for backsplash was awful. There are holes and missing paint throughout the house. Fixtures were the wrong color. The quality assurance didn’t happen. Literally no one walked the house and tried to fix anything before we showed up they just built it and let us move in. We had a leak in the bathroom the first week. Not sure if they thought they could do a crap job because we weren’t in town to watch their every move but they are having to pay for it now. And it’s super frustrating to be living in construction, when it was supposed to be completed. Thea was knowledgeable and responsive and if she didn’t know she tried to find out asap. ... More
