We have had great experiences with everyone we come in contact with at Highland homes. Ms. Dorothy is a great sales woman with wealth of experience who helped work us through our home buying process, Brody is a great builder and always available to anwser questions and alleviate any fears. Doug and his team were also great and made the loan experience more easy than any other home buying experiences we have had in the past. We are enjoying our home and look forward to unwinding at our home after a long days work. Thank you so much.

Dorothy, the sales rep was honest, candid, and highlighted the strengths of the home and community. After closing, it's only a good as it's support. Brody has been highly responsive, very pro- homeowner, and helpful with third parties. This company cares about its product and its owner. This is a great little home with quality people standing behind it.

Great value for the price. Materials were great, but combination of colors was not. Designers are recommended to combine colors better.

My husband and I were looking for a "forever home" to grow our family and raise our kids. We weren't happy with what we found in the market so decided building was the right choice for us. We interviewed a few different builders in various communities and fell in love with Highland Homes at Davis Ranch. We were able to find a lot and a floor plan that met 100% of our needs. The process was very straightforward and easy from the day we signed our contract to the day we moved in.

Highland Homes was open and honest throughout our entire home purchasing and construction process. Their support even after our closing date had been outstanding.

We love our highland home and while all new homes will have a few issues, this builder has gone above and beyond to make sure our issues are fixed in a timely manner. Would recommend Highland Homes over our previous DR Horton so far.

This was my first new home “build” from picking home plan to selecting colors and materials. I can’t say enough good things about the professionalism of all Highland Homes employees. The service provided by the design center, the ease of completing documents to get the process and my selections priced, the pre-construction meeting was very helpful and gave me a chance to make sure all the add ons I wanted were included. I love my new home, it has everything that my family and I needed. Highland’s Team was a pleasure to work with from day 1, they provided and lot of information and encourage research of our new home, what a great experience.

Very happy with our first Highland Home. Our sales rep Laurie helped with lot selection, orientation of the home and went to bat for us to get the best value. We were constantly at the site and often talked with our construction sup Brody. Being involved in the process gave us a much better understanding of our construction. The 4 star on workmanship and materials is likely a function of increased demand on third party vendors. Trim and paint guys seemed to be in a rush and it shows up. Still a great house and would be fantastic with a little more attention to fine details.

We were extremely nervous to buy from a homebuilder again, as our first experience was very unpleasant. Highland worked with us every step of the way, was super responsive, and accommodated our wishes (like our external inspector that came to every inspection). We live in a mixed neighborhood of various homebuilders, and you can tell which are Highland Homes. The quality is absolutely higher. We did lots of Googling and review-reading prior to selecting Highland, and it was a great decision. They are also super responsive after the fact and have taken good care of us. We had been looking at this builder and floorplan for about two when we were finally ready to move forward. Our sales counselor, Thea, was absolutely amazing to work with - she was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She set and managed our expectations by communicating frequently and thoroughly throughout the process. Our construction manager, Clayton, was spectacular to work with. His attention to detail and communication style allowed me to feel at ease with the entire process. He was available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure everything went smoothly. Late in the process, Clayton was reassigned to a different neighborhood, and our new construction manager was Chuck. My wife and I were very nervous about the change, but Thea and Chuck ensured it was seamless. Chuck's passion for homebuilding was very evident. He was able to finish our build and met all of our expectations. This marks our second experience as homeowners with a Highland Home. Our initial encounter with a Highland Home was around 2013, a few years after we tied the knot and embarked on homeownership together as a couple. Following the sale of our first home, we consistently found ourselves measuring subsequent residences against the standard set by Highland Home in terms of quality, space utilization, and overall aesthetic appeal. Best home buying experience from start to finish.

We had a very smooth home buying experience with Highland. Our home was under construction when we bought it, so most selections had been made. We were, however, able to make a few changes that were important to us, and that process was very easy. Karen sent photos of progress on a weekly basis, and was quick to respond whenever we had questions. Our project manager changed during construction, and the transition to the new project manager went very well. Amilcar was very responsive and easy to work with. We also enjoyed working with Will. We really love our home and are happy that we chose Highland. The only minor disappointment has been the landscaping. Deer are very fond of many of the front yard plants, and much of the sod has struggled to become fully established. Most of this is not under Highland's control, but I think consideration should be given to installing deer resistant plants in the front. On the plus side, both front and back yard were fully landscaped so we could focus on moving in and we didn't have to worry about finishing up the yard. Overall, Highland builds very nice homes, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. ... More

Despite the aggressive housing market that was summer of 2022, Highland Homes set themselves apart from other builders-the buying experience was as seamless as possible. From the sales team, to building team to financing; all were extremely responsive to questions and concerns and willing to make our home a reality. Supply chain issues might have caused delays, but quite honestly the building managers and supervisors pressed their crews to finish with limited delays. We can't say enough positive things about our experience. With some minor minor issues after closing, all have been scheduled and soon to be completed. The home buying process was a little overwhelming but we are loving our new home now that it’s over. We live in a neighborhood with several builders and Highland homes is what we always hear people recommend. In our experience they were professional, used good materials and worked on some great finishes. The layout is extremely convenient and many details within the home such as electric, piping, storage, etc, were just planned in an efficient manner, they didn’t ask us and we didn’t think of those but now that we have the home is clear they knew what they were doing. Due to supply chain issues they did have to replace some of our options, but for the most part they stayed true to the items and styles we picked when designing the house. Price wise it falls more on the higher end and within our neighborhood we’ve seen some beautiful houses from other builders at much more affordable price. Our buying experience was truly awesome! The sales associate provided all the required information for us to make an informed decision. The design center person was not as helpful as I preferred. All of our interactions with the builders have been remarkable and extremely positive. I would strongly recommend purchasing a home with the Highlands family.
