Building with Highland Homes was a breeze! The communication from our project manager Cameron was great. This being our second Highland Home but first time involved in the building process, we had a ton of questions. Cameron was quick to answer all of them and would even send us photographs of the progress made each week to keep us as informed as possible. We had a third party inspection done and the inspector could hardly find anything wrong with the home other than a few very minor items. Cameron made sure they were all taken care of before our closing date, and has continued to handle any warranty/post-close items quickly. I made the decision to leave NY where I had lived for years after hearing from friends how wonderful it was living here in Van Alstyne, Texas. I came down to see for myself and from the minute I arrived I could see what they were raving about. My friends took me all around, showing me so many wonderful places and things. My friends live here in Van Alstyne in a beautiful house built by Highland Homes. I made the decision to meet with the people at Highland Homes. I met with Tracy, the most incredible Sales Representative for Highland Homes who couldn’t have been nicer. Tracy showed me all the houses I could pick from and all the designs I could choose from. I made the decision in 2 days time to buy a house here in Van Alstyne and to have Highland Homes build it. I haven’t regretted that decision for a second! I now live in the most beautiful house that I love. Tracy and Cameron, the construction manager kept me informed and updated each and every step of the way as my house was being built as I was living in NY. From the initial sales visit with Brittany….. weekly progress reports from Brittany and Hunter…,.. now follow up on minor issues with the home, couldn’t ask for better service and responsiveness. So happy with our home and the location!!!

We bought our home because of Highland Homes reputation as a quality builder. We did it by proxy after viewing information and floor plans and photos online.

Love my new townhome. Quality is first rate, closed when promised, sales staff was extremely helpful through the process, quite happy. Would not hesitate to buy another Highland Home.

The sales councilor (Pat) worked hard to get us in this home with all the features and upgrades we asked for. The construction managers we worked with were hard working and helped make the upgrades materialize as we wished. The only downsides with having this house built is the yard is not smooth and lower around the back porch than it should be. And is also too low around some of the fence, allowing big gaps for the dog to get out. The house was not as clean as we hoped for when we moved in. Overall great experience with highland

Danny, my builder was great from day one. Attentive, attention to detail, explained process and time frames - very good at communicating. He was also very patient with me and my million questions. Build was finished faster than expected and better than I expected. I appreciated all of Highland Home, but Danny especially.

The process was straightforward and terms were met without any complications. Sales team was very professional and caring about what our desires and needs were.

I was very excited for this beautiful house. And Highland Homes has been an amazing team to work with.

We bought our first Highland Home 12/21. It was a spec home and was a very rushed transaction. There wasn't much I was please about with this transaction and warranty items initially took forever to get fixed. It definitely was NOT a pleasant experience for us. Frankly having gone through this first experience with Highland, I'm surprised we even considered another Highland Home. BUT, the second purchase with Highland was like night and day difference. From the first meeting with our Sales Counselor Lesli to dealings with our construction managers, Matt and then Danny, we couldn't be more pleased. The communication was exceptional, we were kept in the loop though out the entire process. If we wanted to change something, every effort was made to accommodate our request. There have been very few warranty requests at this home. Those we have had are minor but more importantly, have been responded to immediately. We've been in our new home now about 2 months now and Danny continues to check in with us to make sure everything is still going well. We are so very thankful for this particular team at Highland as they alone have completely changed our view of this company and their products. Thank you Lesli, Matt and Danny!
