From the initial sales visit with Brittany….. weekly progress reports from Brittany and Hunter…,.. now follow up on minor issues with the home, couldn’t ask for better service and responsiveness. So happy with our home and the location!!!

The purchasing experience was easy. Wish there was a way to see upgrade options and costs when purchasing. Wish HOA rules were available before you decide to purchase aa they are very restrictive. Mostly my disappointment came from the condition of the home when we moved in. If you buy - Don’t expect a decent construction clean. I have never worked so hard to clean a brand new house. It is obvious that contractors and cleaning crew lack any attention to detail. Almost seems like they don’t care about their own quality. Contractors leave trash and empty water bottles etc on your property when they are near by or are on your property to repair. Total lack of respect. Love the house. Still working almost two months later to have it look as it should have when we closed. ... More

We bought our home because of Highland Homes reputation as a quality builder. We did it by proxy after viewing information and floor plans and photos online.

Highland homes are nice homes. I closed on my home three weeks before I moved in. I went over the "punch" list and left a key for the workers to complete it before I moved in. A lot of the things were not completed and I am still waiting for it to be done over 6 weeks later. The cleaning of the home was sub-par. Attention to detail was horrible. You would think for the price you pay, it would have been better. I love my home but expected better customer service.

Love my new townhome. Quality is first rate, closed when promised, sales staff was extremely helpful through the process, quite happy. Would not hesitate to buy another Highland Home.

This has been one of the worst home building experiences I’ve ever had or heard of. Nothing but issues all around and it’s taking weeks to get resolutions. When one thing is fixed, something else comes up. I don’t understand how this company is rated “high” when I’ve had nothing but problems. Home was poorly crafted and rushed to be completed.

The sales councilor (Pat) worked hard to get us in this home with all the features and upgrades we asked for. The construction managers we worked with were hard working and helped make the upgrades materialize as we wished. The only downsides with having this house built is the yard is not smooth and lower around the back porch than it should be. And is also too low around some of the fence, allowing big gaps for the dog to get out. The house was not as clean as we hoped for when we moved in. Overall great experience with highland

Over all this experience of building and buying our new home has been very good! The house was built very quickly, two months sooner than expected. We are very pleased with our new home.

We bought an inventory home in the Bel Air Village from Highland Home. First, Highland Home's craftsmanship is unmatched regardless of which community you go to. We purchased the Ellington floor plan and we really love it. The home purchase process was very seamless. We have been in the house for about two months and haven't had any major issues. The first issue we encountered was that the house wasn't heating up and it was very cold at night but Miguel was very helpful and sent us the right contact for it to get fixed quickly.

After much research and looking at other new and remodeled homes in the area we found this builder to have exceptional value. All the extra details in building and finishing out the home went above and beyond any other builders in the area. The whole process went so smoothly and we were always kept up to date with progress, delays, and what to expect next in the process. The app is a great resource for buyers and owners!

Danny, my builder was great from day one. Attentive, attention to detail, explained process and time frames - very good at communicating. He was also very patient with me and my million questions. Build was finished faster than expected and better than I expected. I appreciated all of Highland Home, but Danny especially.

The process was straightforward and terms were met without any complications. Sales team was very professional and caring about what our desires and needs were.

Bad, inconsiderate and condescending staff even when reached out to Management

We had heard only good things about Highland, so we were excited about our new home purchase. However, we've had nothing but issues with the house since closing. We've had at least 6 work orders for repairs on items that were not installed correctly, already broken, or just plain shoddy craftsmanship. Flooring that's come apart, cracked tile and leaking in the showers, carpet that is not nailed down and is exposing wood underneath, dishwasher with no proper padding or insulation, uneven walls and baseboards throughout, bent air vents, broken window latches, uneven flooring with lumps throughout the carpeted areas. We find new items each day. It is clear now that the house was built as quickly as possible, with little to no attention to the details that make buying a new home so rewarding. I don't think we would ever purchase a Highland home again knowing what we know now. Cheap labor + fast build + poor products in the home = a really disappointed buyer who now has to keep pouring money into an already expensive home. Anytime I have a concern Austin responds right away with a solution or update. Austin is professional and informative.

Loved the quality of the home, but I do wish certain things I knew what I know now. I do wish they have a better option at design center and not charge u so much for little things like tiles I’m sure they already have that price included in the house

I found a gem of a home that was well built, comfortable, and a fantastic value. The sales process was trouble free.

The home buy experience was very easy. It was less stressful then other homes we have bought. The quality of a Highland home is amazing. They take the time to show you how to operate all the modern convenience.

The house is nice but built quickly and thrown together.

From first meeting Rayshell in the model home, to now the warranty repairs on our new home, all aspects of buying a Highland Home has been seemless and exceptional.
