We have had many issues, some still have not been reconciled. since we moved in back in June 2022.

Best part of the whole experience has been how quick and responsive Austin has been. If there’s been any little stuff that needs fixing, he’s been there either same day or next day.

Our home is quality built and is architecturally interesting; definitely not a cookie cutter home. Our salesman (DuWayne) and our site supervisor (Justin) were very responsive and accommodating to our needs.

We were a little disappointed in the quality of the work. It did not match the quality that we would associate with a name like Highlands. In all fairness, the construction manager has been very responsive to our concerns regarding certain issues with the house to make sure the issues have been resolved.

What a wonderful team and experience. From the start of the sale, design and entire process to closing. Leslie, Danny and all the folks who worked on our home did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Highland Homes.

You can tell when you look at other builders homes and divisions that Highland build quality is better. The homes are all brick and come with a lot of extras. The sales agent was excellent (Brittany) in keeping us informed during the build process. The homes are more expensive but you get what you pay for. They do not change the price upwards like many builders are now doing once you have contracted your home.

Highland Homes does a great job laying out the plan, locking in the price, and then providing flexibility in the build as things progress. They do quality work and are responsive to questions along the way. Very transparent and honest; trustworthy.

Sales staff worked diligently to find the house that met our requested needs, Construction was completed on or ahead of schedule, closing was scheduled promptly and professionally executed. The overall process, the roadmap to buying a home in these times with Covid, materials shortages and other life-challenges was all made easier with my Highland Homes team. Jennifer and Cameron were always available and fast to respond to any questions or requests we had. Most builders would have said “no, sorry, that’s not possible”, etc, but we had none of that. The basic upgrades in our home saved us so much money it allowed us to do some special things we never thought we could, including a huge patio slab and the Flex Bedroom option. We have bought a few homes in our lifetime and each builder has its quirks. Many expensive lessons were learned. Based on this we always start the home buying process with trepidation. The experience from day one through beyond 'closing' with Highland Homes at Mantua Point has been the exception. Front End Sales: Jennifer and her sales team have been informative and truthful about how long it will take and the amount it will cost. We did not experience any 'forgetfulness' or excuses about cost or timelines. They also provided construction updates and information on all the utilities in a timely manner to help ensure that we had no surprises. Home Construction: Cody, the construction foreman, is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Although there were delays due to logistical issues and shortages from the supply line (no industry is immune currently), he worked his hardest to keep a tight timeline for completion. He also had us do 2 walkthroughs because the supply line problems caused certain times not to be complete on time. After closing, he was very attentive and worked with us to get it corrected with any issue that we found. Did not follow through on work or promises. Awful work ethic, many mistakes were made and not fixed. Poor work quality, things were left out and messy, extremely unprofessional.

Love our home, had some challenges with supplychain issues

The home is beautiful and we are really happy that we managed to get a home with Highland in this crazy market. Out of the builders we looked at, we could tell Highland had good quality homes.

The sales component was very friendly and helpful. The quality after has left much to be desired. Needed assistance has been difficult to obtain. Things stated as taken care of were not, quality of repairs provided have been substandard and support as well. The list is to long to discuss here.

Highland Homes is a great value for the price. Our home is beautiful. Quality craftmanship throughout is like no other in this area. Brittany and Cody respond immediately to any issues you may have from beginning to end. We are very happy with our purchase.

Our home seller was outstanding (Brittany Kennedy) she responded to ours concerns very quickly and efficiently. She was very patient and understanding with us. She was the main reason we bought here, because of her professionalism and expertise. I would recommend some improvements to these houses like: Wider front doors Bigger guests room Overall compared to other builders in the area Highland Homes are better quality

Highland was great to work with from start to finish. Brittany spent some time figuring out my needs and wants and then presented some great plans and ideas. Construction was a breeze. I used their in house mortgage company and that was easy too. All great employees along the way and everyone was very responsive, helpful and friendly throughout the process.

The home buying experience was great from our very first meeting with our sales person understanding our needs and providing suggestions to hooking us up with the loan officer and him keeping us posted on what was needed, to our construction manager being there to assist and answer any and every question. HH made that experience very personable and unobtrusive

We looked at many tracts and builders across these DFW area. We felt the Highland Homes offered the best value for the dollar. We would do it again if looking for a new home in any market.
