Rhett was wonderful to work with and relatable as a listing agent on behalf of WestBay. The home has an extremely high amount of quality and I couldn't be happier after knowing way too many things that could go wrong from my previous home and research on builders. Jeff the construction manager has been nothing short of a lifeline when it comes to making sure even the tiniest mistakes were addressed (even pointing out what I'd never see). Even after the sale and move-in, he has been responsive and shows great character when it comes to making sure his new homeowners are happy.

Great experience with the team. Starting with Elena, who is helping us in the sales center and she was excellent, she gave us great direction and was also a great resource or understanding the area since we’re new to it. The actual build was well handled by Greg I can’t imagine a better site superintendent.

West Bay has been responsive to our requests for warranty issues. Closing experience was seamless.

Everything from start to finish of my new villa was excellent. Love my new home! Great workmanship. They helped me thru the entire process. Everyone involved was so professional, kind and helpful to get me my new home. Highly recommend!

Thea and Jasser were great to work with and the entire process was smooth. The level of finishes are great and Ben was very helpful throughout the process once we were under contract.

The home construction is excellent. The responsiveness on the help line is more than poor. When you call with an emergency, a call back should not occur 48 hours later. An emergency should have an immediate response

Garrett and Matt were always there to listen and help with any needs along the way.

Lack of commitment on resolving issues in timely matter .untimely responses to issues lack of quality control on 1mm plus home is more than disappointing..lack of quality control on resolving issues before closing especially involving 3rd party contractors.completely disappointed with attention to resolving issues

Excellent service from the realtor to construction manager. High quality product, efficient service & always very professional.

No Hot Water over a month now and no resolution to date. Lighting fixture in the dining room in the incorrect place and still no resolution. Power outlet for the sofa in the incorrect place.

We made a visit while on vacation and we really loved the place. Once we made the decision to purchase the home, we were back in the NY/NJ area but Westbay made it very easy for us to still get everything accomplished even though we were a thousand miles away. Brittany Burrows was extremely helpful and we can not say enough to let you know how great it was to have her working with us.

We were lied to from the sales person that the average price of the homes in the neighborhood were 1.25 after we went to the design process we told the sales lady that and she rolled her eyes and said I’ve never seen one that cheap when we got the appraisal done, we saw the neighbors at least five of them. No one was even close to 1.25 when we went back to our sales person and said this is way more than we wanted to spend he said well that’s your problem and I’m gonna keep your $200,000 deposit if you want to back out I can’t believe that your company still in business I have seen horrible review and I suggest that everybody reads their surveys not on Google but on yelp and other sites there’s multiple lawsuits and multiple problems with your company I will tell anyone who asks me to stay far away and I will be leaving comments on every website that I can and by the way, I left a negative review on Google and guess what it’s not on there anymore you removed it and also when we had the home appraised it appraised for $200,000 less than we paid you should all be as ashamed of yourself I will be posted what happen to us on every website I can so people don’t get taken advantage of lloke we did ... The sales rep and the project manager were great to work with. The home was pristine when purchased as all touch ups were completed as promised during the walk through. The over all experience was great and I could not of asked for an easier experience with the buying process.

extras or add Ons way over priced. should have taken less add On's and done things myself. My project super was great at first then b 4 closing and after closing told a bunch of lies.

Some due to weather, but many others based on personal issues and stuff falling through the cracks and follow-up. We also had major issue with pool pavers and spa was crooked. We love our house, but many details to work out and resolve.

Since 1967 I have had 12 new custom homes in Sarasota, Manatee & Hillsborough Counties. I have never bought a model home before. I was of the opinion that a model would be better construction because it would be an example of craftsmanship. This is not what I have found to be factual. There are a lot of cosmetic issues that need correction.

Worst experience I have ever had when buying a new home. From deception at the sales centre by being given the wrong information, to the experience at the designer studio, to the condition the home was on delivery and the bullying during the process , this was by far the worst and it changed the whole process to bad, and the lack of communication and being ignored by the warranty people. I would recommend the if looking to buy, record the conversations so you can have back up when you are not given what was promised.

West Bay home is great and I would buy another home from them. The only negative I would say about the company is there interior design where they make you buy their general electric refrigerator to get their upgraded kitchen. You can’t just buy the kitchen itself they make you buy the refrigerator to go with the upgraded kitchen. So we went with the standard kitchen and I think they should offer to get the upgraded kitchen without the refrigerator and on their end will make more money for themselves. We didn’t get their upgraded kitchen as a result of the refrigerator and West Bay could’ve made money on us for just upgraded Kirchen. Other than that, the construction manager, sales representative And overall people we worked with that West Bay are very attentive and their bill quality is optimum. ... More

The house itself was well built with only minor warranty issues so far. One issue is the cheap plastic toilet arm that broke immediately after move in. The plumbers have been out and temporarily fixed the issue. The plumber has been back, but had the wrong part, AFTER, they had ordered it themselves. It also appears the warranty personnel come from Tampa. Not sure why they can't find local contractors, who can respond more quickly. Our home was a quick move in and came without a refrigerator and a garage door opener in the side turn garage. Cheap on West Bay part. At minimum, offer to install these items after closing, and at a cost if they must., but offer some support to a new homeowner.The house could have been cleaned better, including sweeping the garage floors and at minimum, wash the windows. Nothing like moving into a new home and looking through filthy windows. Add the fact that we can't add colorful plants in the ground , because it will void the foundation warranty. We have to wait an entire year to remove the juniper weeds and plant something with color and interest. There are also 3 dead trees in the common area, planted by West Bay, next to my house. There is no indication anyone is going to replace them anytime soon, even though they have tags. ... More

It would take hours to describe our entire experience with WestBay as there were so many issues along the way. But the two biggest issues is that these homes are priced like luxury homes but the quality is DR Horton with lipstick. At least here in Star Farms they use all the same subcontractors and it shows. They also make zero attempts to make their clients happy, the design options are abysmal and incredibly overpriced, and they allow significantly less modification than similar builders in the same price range (like Homes by Towne) and refuse to give you an allowance to purchase things like appliances outside of their abysmal selections. We paid well over a million for our home and it certainly doesn’t look like it. Super textured walls, the ugly grey paint of THEIR choice throughout, the cheapest can lights you’d find in starter homes, and obvious signs of shoddy workmanship throughout. The only reason our house is as expensive as it is because they upcharge for the most basic upgrades up the wazoo (don’t want a mix of carpet, tile and LVP mixed all throughout the first floor? Pay up!), not because it’s a million dollar product. We paid $25,000 for GE appliances that you can get for $10,000 at Costco, except at Costco you can pick the color you want, but not with WestBay. I’m not even going to get started on how rude and manipulative the sales team was. The whole experience left such a poor taste in our mouths and we’ve encouraged everyone we know to stay away. The only bright side has been our construction manager that has continued to try to fix issues in our home after closing, but one great person can’t make up for a whole rotten company. ... More

The home buying experience was great .We were always informed of the process on a weekly basis.The Managers was very cordial with any updates and things we would. Have to be involved with appliances updates and HVAC .We would have liked however,a quicker response to house and yard issues from the documents submitted for repairs by us he homeowners. overall the experience was great.

Beautiful homes with finest appliances and great area distribution. From start to finish the process was transparent and easy. Highly recommended!
