In every room there is a problem none of the angles match up paint drippings all over the tile and poor Craftsmanship

We are overall happy with the home but there were several items that needed correction (and still do. Although West Bay has been responsive, here we are 45 days post close and I’m still having my floors fixed. I also think the upcharge with some options were very overpriced.

Love the layout of our home but too many corners cut in quality

Home quality has generally been good, but the quality assurance portion has been disappointing. Homes by West Bay talk a good game about having an industry leading warranty, but it has proven to be rather lackluster. Emails do not get responded to, issues get dropped, and it has been impossible to get updates to issues that have been acknowledged. For example, it has been nearly seven weeks since granite has been removed from master bath for color match and repair to damage made during install. Quality assurance has yet to provide an update as to when this will be repaired. Paint in the home has also been lacking. It looks good at first, but do t try and clean it. All the paint is a flat paint so it doesn’t clean well. It has also been flaking off the walls. We have been in the home 3 months. All the paint looks like it was primer with just a bit of color added to it. I will have to repaint the entire home myself to correct the issue. I don’t particularly trust the painters based on the quality of work that was provided. On a positive note, my construction manager was great during the home building process. Responsive to emails and kept me up to date on any issues and status. While stressful, I knew I was in good hands with Nick as the home was build. We have a great home in Anclote Reserve but we also have an ugly block over our stove that we didn't order covering materials we paid for above and beyond the base price of the home. All our HVAC covers are installed crooked, and we have crooked walls. Builder is refusing the fix these issues and saying we should have expected random large blocks of drywall hanging down from the ceiling over our custom range setup. Happy with the neighborhood - unhappy with the quality and responsiveness to issues we have had for months now.

The home we purchased is beautiful! We love and absolutely reccomend!

It was good. There was some delay however your staff made that part so much easier.

Builder did a great job

They do a lot of good work. A bit more attention to detail (landscaping, to be most precise) will make them stand out from the competition.

The day I was signing the contract, everyone was super and helpful. Then I flew back home, and it was hard to get answers, not answering phone calls or text. Then the delays … which I can understand due to the state of the economy and worldwide shortages. I had a great construction manager then they changed out. Not too big of deal but I had already established a “relationship” with the previous one. Closing was great, promises “not all” in general were honored as far as fixing few things for closing. We’re happy with the house. However, we feel like the building stage of it could use some work. Time management and material management should be adjusted.

We purchased and built during the pandemic. There were many delays due to illness and supply chain. I know some is unknown or out of any one’s control but think they should be more upfront and honest with how long the process may take. I would’ve preferred my home to be completed sooner than expected than having it delayed so many times. Our sales person, designer and construction manager were great!! The closing team was unresponsive and we had no idea what was happening when it was finally time to close.

Overall experience was good. Took much longer than anticipated and was told but glad to be in our lovely home. Still many items to correct and chasing needed to get done.

Takes to much time for repairs. Still waiting for window repair and Sliding glass door repair.

Our sales rep Kristi was great the entire process! After the initial purchase numerous employees along the building process, including the 30 day warranty procedure, were stubborn and argumentative. It seemed that some of them were more concerned with getting their job done quickly without being responsive to our issues. We were buying the house from out of state and that seemed to be a problem for some people, except Kristi. Great neighborhood and great neighbors!

Vendors/contractors have not been very responsive despite warranty

Westbay homes is a premier builder in the area. Our realtor had taken us through many of their neighborhoods, this is the one we settled on and had an option to buy in. Our home started and was to be completed in May, yet we sat when it came to windows for 6 months. Our original Construction Manager was horrible at communicating so I asked for him to be removed and it was granted after so many complaints. This was the best thing ever he brought the experience way down. Windows came in and 11 months after signing we closed and worked through our 30 day warranty issues with little problems. Most of this happens in home building no matter what, but the people who work there are the bad apples sometimes this experience with the main person as our construction manager made it horrible. Four months into the experience and still waiting to fix deficiencies found in the final inspection.

Closing delayed multiple times due to lack of materials, multiple issues that needed to be fixed at closing, put in contract and still aren’t fixed after 6 months, construction manager had poor communication, if I didn’t follow up and ask, things wouldn’t get done. Workers they hire do not do good quality work.

Did not get a welcome to the community gift by anyone.

We love our home and happy with how it turned out.
