Disappointing Experience.

To say we are satisfied with this experience would be a lie. To start our sales consultant Roger never disclosed and falsely sold us according to MLS listing we would own $16k “premium lot” that will forever be in a Flood Zone A that will require flood insurance premium. Not to mention failing to explain that 25’ of our said 75’ from back of our house yard would always be a part of the conservation and would never be usable space. Also another 20 foot would not be usable due to the significant modified A graded berm (hill) that slopes downward into the conservation is useless. This leaves us ...

Double check your plans, houses are being bulit not according to plans and causes many issues once you move in. It has been a really bad experience.

No attention to details, closed on a brand new home and workmanship was terrible, ton of items needed to be resolved, they rushed closing date and left a lot of items unfinished, took short cuts on a lot of stuff, no electricity in half of the home, dryer vent install incorrectly, showers cold and hot water reversed, electrical panel wired incorrectly, took a very long time to address issues, many weeks later we are still waiting for many warranty issues to be fixed.... I would never bought from them again

Was one of the worst home buying experience that I have had. Was told would be a three month build but ended up being 7 months. Hold up was on windows then it was on tile floors. Design team took two months to figure out new top floors. Quality of workmanship and materials were subpar. Some areas in main living room were under grouted or over grouted. Doing a building process window was broken for two months I had to notify the project manager. Issue wasn’t fixed until after we closed on home. Terrible Home Buying & Building Experience

It was a very competitive bidding process when we signed our contract. We expected for each trade to be supervised during the building process. When we closed, we had a cracked toilet, 180+ stickers on the walls for repairs, etc. We also didn't feel listened to during the entire building process. When we pointed out our pantry door was wrong, we were told it was correct. They replaced it with the wrong door. We chose Westbay because many of the other homebuilders had poor ratings and they are a family owned company. With that came an expectation that this would be a much better experience than building with one of the larger companies. It started out great the salesperson was amazing extremely helpful, responsive and professional. The homes are absolutely beautiful! We were relocating to the area and as a result we needed to move quickly. We selected a spec/inventory home that was scheduled for completion March/April. Poor craftsmanship and accountability

No attention to detail. Plumbers forgot to glue a pvc joint from mainline to house, 10 gal per hour leak. Took days to get resolved. Dishwasher drain not hooked up, water in cabinet island as a result.Paint splatters everywhere stucco work not great. Was told it would be fixed after final walk and if it did your stucco guys are terrible. Warranty guy will fight you over most things. Stucco crack the length of house 2 months in and told that it’s homeowner maintenance.

Errors and Unfinished home

First time builder experience. First, 4 errors made on foundations. They correct 3 minor, but made a bid mistake on my foundation and would not correct. Builder, walk through process and communication is terrible, either late, sick or forgot appointment for walk through and we missed one step due to builder/co worker lack of communication. Westbay has reduced their quality. They are now a production builder. The trades people are the same that work on Lennar homes as well. This isn’t strong craftsmanship like it used to be. We had 52 issues with our home upon closing that took 100 days to resolve. Just a horrible experience. We would never recommend Westbay.

I’ve had a horrible experience with West Bay

My project manager had no clue what he was doing. From the framing all through the construction there were so many issues that I pointed out. Some were addressed some were not I even had to tell them what some of the construction codes were because they were not following them. Now that I’ve moved in, all my issues that have been documented along the way I’m being told are only cosmetic and will not be addressed.
