I do mortgages on new construction homes for a living. I dreaded building a home. My process was seamless. Not a single glitch. Every single person I worked with at west bay was incredible. Leslie went above and beyond and even now still says hi when she see me etc. overall a great experience!

My house turned out great. I would recommend hiring an inspector to keep an eye on the process.

Our experience was a good one. The company is professional and built the house to the specs in the contract as is expected. Yes, it’s a pretty tight contract, so you should know that going in, no issues in our experience though. Home was completed in an orderly fashion, of course with some expected supply chain delays, but not extreme ones. The completion turned out very nice and we are happy with it. Dan, the construction manager managed it well. We built at a high point in the market but I believe it will appreciate considering how well built and finished it is. I don’t have experience with other builders in the Tampa market, but I can’t imagine they would be able to equal the job West Bay did. There are cheaper builders but I believe you get what you pay for. I don’t plan to build again, but if I needed to, I would trust WestBay to build it for us. ... More

We were very pleased through most of the build. Had a few issues and lack of communication but I guess that is to be expected. Overall we love our new house and feel we got a great value for our investment!

We had great experiences with the sales agent and the home buying process. When we went to the design studio, they listened to our concerns and passion for what we wanted in our home. They helped us every step of the way.

This being our first new home, we were a little hesitant on the overall process. The WB team from Sales, Design, and Build did an amazing job ensuring we had a great experience. My only recommendation to leadership: do not force customers to put in materials, only to rip them out. Finds a better solution to having customers opt out of flooring, etc. All in all, we would build another home with the WB Team. Thanks for everything.

Being new to Florida, we took our time looking around to find the right builder that would balance design aspects with material selections with cost/budget in mind. We happened upon Connerton and Homes by WestBay and decided to take a look. The model houses were “nice” from the exterior (didn’t really seem like anything out of the ordinary) but when we walked through the front door the first thing my wife said was “wow!”. That’s the response I had been looking for since we started looking at houses. The homes were well detailed, but more important to me, the homes had good, strong “bones”. Jim, our sales consultant, took us around to show us the WestBay process, how the homes were structured and how they drove the construction process. We were impressed. Very thorough, very professional, very structured and definitely schedule driven. The design process was very easy, lots of opportunities to view the selections at the Design Center prior to our official appointment where you formally select everything. I actually took their paper form and made it into an excel spreadsheet, so as we were making changes to our choices during our visits to the Design Center, we could keep track of how much money we were potentially going to spend. The process is easy if you and your significant other have similar design taste (which luckily we did). The construction process, much to my surprise, was VERY schedule driven. It’s the first time, of the five houses I have previously built, that the schedule was actually adhered to. Nick, our Construction Manager, was awesome. Great communicator, with regards to what was happening on a weekly basis, where he was in the overall project, and what he was doing to mitigate lost time (when COVID caused some delays). There were a few issues that arose, there always are in construction, but Nick was on top of them and addressed them immediately. Communication is key. If you have questions, ask sooner rather than later and you can potentially avoid issues down the road. At our framing walkthrough I noticed some duct work roughed in that was going to be in conflict with a built in we were planning for later. Since we saw it before the duct was actually run, it was just a matter of relocating the rough in terminal box, which they graciously did that day and we avoided issues down the road. We’ve been in the house a little ore than a month now and we absolutely love it. A couple of minor issues (some “operator error” mistakes on our part) but nothing that would prevent us from whole heartedly recommending WestBay Homes. ... More

Buying from Homes by Westbay was one of our greatest decision. So far I have no regrets. Everything from framing to electric and plumbing has been awesome. Little issues were resolved immediately. Thanks again Westbay.

WestBay is the best Builder I’ve seen yet. In addition, great staff like Brenna that has made my purchasing experience even better! Go lot 25!

The entire experience has been pleasant. Keri is great, she is very helpful and responds efficiently. Jim did a nice job during the construction and closing phase. Look forward to working with Michelle with the 30 day inspection coming up. The HOA approval process did not seem as efficient however my request was more of an urgency and they may not be equipped to facilitate these types of requests.

We had a wonderful experience with WestBay from start to finish. Any minor issues we did have are more related to the homebuilding industry in general.

Excellent People to work with Well known and display info Since day one when we showed to model house the vendor Rachel was excellent thru the whole building process who Dave took us by the hand step by step and did f/u call and walks thru etc. As a journey was excellent and I really recommend build with them. As usual nothing is prefect but the few little pebbles on the way were fixed easy and fast. Regarding timing the finish date I think our was ahead of time even.
