Th house came out beautiful. We are very excited to be in our Bowles home. WestBay was a pleasure to work for. Now being in the home for the last month, it seems like materials used were not top grade. Hopefully any issues we have will be taken care of by the warranty.

From our sales person to the warranty person, all are quality people who want to do the best work they can for their customers. There were some issues that needed to be fixed by the subcontractors and Westbay was responsive to those requests for the most part.

Our experience with Homes by WestBay was fantastic. I would and will be recommending any colleagues and friends to purchase from HBW. The overall experience was like no other. As much as we would want things to go overly perfect, but as humans we often experienced human errors which is expecting when making such transaction. From choosing our lot to doing the final walkthrough with our construction manager was unforgettable experiences. All timelines provided from start to finish were met, updates were given throughout the whole process as discussed during the initial meeting. Jerrel was outstanding, quick response to our concerns. Construction managers were abusulutly terrible. Lack of up dates no show for scheduled meeting, with exception of Bill who took care of us the last week of construction. Home was somewhat complete, was easier just to go to hardware store myself to purchase missing items

Our Home buying process was easier with Kristie. Besides some minor quality issues with construction and options they put in, overall we are satisfied.

Final product makes the process worth it but some frustrating moments getting there. Lack of communication through the building process was my biggest pet peeve.

Pre-ran Internet wires didn’t work. should’ve been tested prior to putting up drywall.

The design center staff and selection process was excellent. The schedule affords the ability to visit multiple times, and the staff were excellent and never tired of us asking for assistance. The foreman wasn't very responsive and when provided independent inspection reports with items to correct, he wouldn't respond, even after multiple attempts at communication on our part, until we had a walk-thru and brought it up again, thus wasting my time and his. Some of the subs had very poor workmanship. Again, the foreman didn't correct the issues and instead we had to point out the items needing corrective action, multiple times, during our walk-thrus. The poor workmanship of the subs, and lack of attention to detail by the foreman caused our closing to be delayed. Post-closing the assistance and support with warranty items has been great. ... Home buying experience was great. However, few things for the price we paid for the home. House has no gutters. Rains here quite a bit. Never experienced that in Texas where we had and build several home. Closets has no wooden shelves. Never experienced that. Pantry has wire shelves..not wooden. Never seen that. Bathrooms didnt have toilet paper holders and towel rods. Never seen that... i realize that these may be upgrades but was never discussed with us that i recall..these are basics any home should have..

I think a lot is left undone that should be included in the house. Things like towel and toilet paper holders, ceiling fans, gutters, etc things you take for granted and then it seems like your finishing the house for them. When you do walk thru you are always rushed and papers are pushed on you sign right now.

Its to early to evaluate the quality of the house. Process wise it was an ok experience. Repair time is not ideal.

It was a wonderful experience but stressful at the same time. With all the supply chain issues, Westbay failed to reduce our anxiety and stress by not keeping us well informed of the construction progress. The initial CM and the sales rep were irresponsive at many times / never gave any update or gave us loose dates which were never accomplished and we had to keep extending our rental lease agreement. Finally when our finisher CM Tim stepped in, things started to get streamlined. He kept us informed every week and gave us realistic dates when things were done. He listened to our concerns and got us moved in as fast as he could with all the substitutions etc. He made sure that the house was cleaned up intermittently. Quality of material/appliances and workmanship is great so we had only a handful of exception list at closing/ 30 day walk thru issue list. Thank you Tim! We appreciate you. ... More

Westbay did a great job for my beautiful home. Jason Newman is my construction manager.. he did a great job …the quality of the materials is very good… if your thinking of buying a house ..please do go with Westbay.

Good process from start to finish. Took a little longer than explained in the beginning of the process but final outcome couldn’t be more pleased. Our construction manager Chris was outstanding!

Very nice home

A handful of design flaws a home of this price should not have our should be taken care of as courtesy. Example, some location of lights and garage door openers, the fact that flat paint is used in an over half a million dollar home is just embarrassing, some of the trades did a bad job... The purchase process was a bit painful and lacked information we may have based our purchase decision on. That was terrible and I have a list of issues. The construction manager was fantastic. We love the Floorplan but there is definitely room for improvement.
