Sorry to be complaining here but sales team left us with no choice Design center did not even offer or inform about bathroom hardware Master bathtub has fine crack, kitchen cabinet doors are not soft closing which was promised Kitchen drawers don’t fully close Floor tiles have chips and cracks Doors makes loud noise when opening Dishwasher makes a loud noise when opened Zero coordination with utility providers about conduit and proper running of cables Roofs have signs of cracks which were casually pushed on weather factors without providing proper response The list goes on

Takes multiple appointments to fix simple problems after closing. Had multiple appointments with no show for the repairs. Waisted multiple hours waiting for the repair men. Poor installation of water heater Makes too much noise and noise travel to the 2nd floor bedroom. Starting from signing the contract thru closing the home, we had a great experience with JW Team. The sales rep that we worked with was great, she patiently walked us through every details at the beginning and answered every question reasonably thru the home building process. The project manager assigned to our build was great as well. He was meticulously organized, paid attention to smallest details and made this home building journey enjoyable. JW homes built my home with 3 rd car garage, but without enough paved drive way to navigate a car into the garage. When complained, they don’t even bother to acknowledge there is a problem and try to make corrections

We are disappointed with our experience with JW Homes. The home we received did not meet our expectations, especially considering the amount we paid. Based on the construction process we went through, we cannot recommend JW Homes to our friends or family.

Very slow build, less than we expected for the price.

It took far too long to complete the build. The Sub Contractors used to build this townhome were not up to par at all. We watched other townhome projects going up around us, from start to finish, while our Pulte build went along at a snails pace. We purchased for the location, and the floor plan, only regret is the quality of the build.

Have had numerous issues, some of them so blatant that i can't believe it's JW home. For example the hardwood floor is already buckling within a month of closing. The carpet is creeking everywhere. Carpet is coming off at places. The attick stair does not open. Many more

I like the JW House design and standard items included with the house that are usually extras. The structure of the house is strong but the poor workmanship finishing the house has been upsetting.We are still having to correct problems with painting, trim work, screens, floors and landscaping. The quality of the wood used on the screened in porch is poor as well as the facia around the roof. The good thing is they are continuing to repair some of these items. I’m sure the supply chain problems caused by the pandemic was a cause of some of the problems

Pulte Mortgage is the worse to work; glad we had other options. I valued John Weiland as good name, but these home are not up to par with workmanship.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for completion/repairs after closing. Poor craftsmanship and responsiveness. Builder has so many houses that can not follow up or have attention to details. Labor teams may fix one thing and break or miss two from list. Frustrating.

Craftsmanship of my $1m townhome is disgraceful to say the least. I’m 30 days post closing and the builder still has 15 things to fix. My whole row was done poorly and we all are waiting for Pulte to step up. I was giving promises that it would get fixed and all I feel is regret.

The sales agent David is great. The turnover rate for the builders are terrible. We had three different builders by the time we closed. This lead to a lot of issues and barriers for closing, specifically things not getting ordered, projects not being scheduled in a timely fashion, and no one checking to see if projects were done to a certain standard ultimately leading to a six minute delay for closing and me missing out on great interest rates. There was little to no communication from builder unless I requested it. I lost two great rates locks waiting a year on completion of a townhouse. Builder is not flexible at all but expects you to be. The millwork and sheet rock work was poorly done. Paying over 500k I would expect better quality/work. Mark up on items you can select from design center is crazy.

I imagine my experience was the exception rather than the rule because of Covid but the poor workmanship is apparent throughout the home. There is paint all over the floors that has yet to be professionally cleaned, the stain on the stairs is cloudy and inconsistent, the kitchen cabinets were incomplete and damaged and repairs have been made poorly, where handrails were attached to the walls drywall repair was required at every location and the repair work was sloppy.
