The pace of delivery was woefully SLOW. The people in the end tried very hard to accelerate the project, but the damage to us financially was done. 6 months of rent at $2900/month, storage at $800/month, and the total inconvenience of having to move everything twice; it was due to be completed est. by September 2021. We placed the contract in December of 2020. So that makes it a year and 3 months. :-( We also had locked in a loan at 2.7% and almost lost it...3 days away from losing it and Pulte Closing Dept. caused major confusion at the end and a lot of gnashing of teeth and a firestorm with my lender! There are many minor issues as to be expected, but some key ones were encountered along the way: - The foundation was poured wrong for the elevator and had to be dug out and repaired causing delays at the end. - The roof leaked for 6 weeks after dry in - There was a fire from the painters, luckily no damage but a real anxious moment - The building sat for 2 months with little to no effort in Feb 2021- May, and then again from Jun - August for no availability of windows; this was very stressful for us! Quality materials but poor workmanship.

I closed on my home on November and there are still outstanding issues that should have been addressed prior to closing.

No action. Builder says always everything is good. material is fine. but finish very poor. wrong paint, wall crack, missing column molding, window broken, poor flooring(uneven)

From unrealistic delays to not timely information provided from the builder, this was by far the worst home buying experience that we had with my family.

Across the board many buyers in this neighborhood have had multiple significant issues (basement water leaks, burned out water heaters, AC problems, non-functional appliances, leaking windows etc..).

The home buying process was super fun, the people that I dealt with were amazing. Their personality, their care, their effort to make you feel comfortable along the way and go out of their way to handle any hiccups. I love the people that I interacted with along the way. The biggest thing that I have to say is that the quality of the workmanship not even so much the materials is super average. I totally understand that it is a new build and so to counteract the breaking in of the home the team is super helpful with fixing any issues. Quality from the get go could totally be higher but the people will do everything in their power to make it right!! ... More

Great house and floor plan. Local team was great at helping us through the whole process. Expectations on pricing, design, build times, mortgage process and warranty are all poorly managed. Dates are constantly changing and difficult to pin down. Need to watch them closely.

My wife and I have never had a worse experience than with a company like this. Stay away from any John Weiland development, as it is under the guise of Pulte Construction. We were warned but current residences, but did not listen. The experiences and stories we have are numerous and would be hard for anyone to even believe. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Issue with flooring, still the issue is open and notified field manager Michael. Field manager said, he logged a warranty request but no response its been 4 weeks and issue is open with the more glue on wood floors.

The experience during the process wasn't good as expected. Some many issues and details. The material qualities weren't good. For example, we can't clean the walls because the paint is peeling. During the walk-in, we found a lot of issues (I can say more than a hundred). We expended more than 3 hours finding issues. Even, our realtor said that it was the first time she saw too many issues during a walk-in. No all of them were solved, but as we needed the house we didn't say anything during the walk-off (celebration day) because we didn't want Pulte to move the closing again. We just checked the 3 big issues we reported 2 months before the closing (they solved them the day before the celebration after we pushed a lot). The other problems are finishes mostly related to painting (maybe around 90%). They used different paints (at different times I assume), so we can see two o more colors on the walls and ceiling. There are parts of the ceiling without paint just the drywall "white color". The painting issues are not related to light perspective as we were told on the wall-in day. As, I told Jack (the field manager) "the repairs that you do not do I will do them", so I started painting. Also, I asked twice (during walk-in and walk-off) about the fireplace how to turning on? And if they could test it. They said me it is just turning on the switch. I tried it by myself, and I realized no gas was there. ... More

Had some delay due to COVID but construction manager Lamar and sales manager David Dempsey kept us in the loop. Attic access has been designed to be in room above fan which is highly inconvenient. Have to move bed and everything just to open attic access ladder. There were few other issues which were/are taken care of.

Ben our builder contact was fantastic! He made the experience very easy, was attentive to our requests and any issues, and did an overall wonderful job!

Our builder, Travis H. was the absolute worst -- no attention to detail and any issues raised were NOT addressed. We escalated our concerns with upper management and delayed our closing only to find little to no work was done. And upper management didn't address the issue. We are now living through the remodel of our brand new home to fix the egregious issues which weren't addressed when they were building our home. Corey M., the 4th builder we have had since signing the contract, has been excellent in communication and in trying to address our concerns. Unfortunately, we are not the only home buyers having this same concerns/issues. The other 3 units in our townhome section and all 6 across the courtyard have all complained about the workmanship, the inexperienced builders building high priced townhomes and the delayed closings. Pulte/Wieland is clearly over their head in building high end townhomes and upper management at the Atlanta office, doesn't seem to care that about the workmanship, delays or how their new home owners feel about their experience or the company's reputation -- very short-sighted. ... I loved that John Wieland Homes used most updated devices on my house. Sprinkler for example is capable to be upgraded with WIFI technology and save a lot of water! All thermostats are WIFI too, and controlling temp from cellphone is awesome.

It took an extremely ling time to complete & went through 5 changes of builder. The design is wonderful. But the workmanship has been shoddy. And the handoff was somewhat disorganized.

We had many issues with the quality of the workmanship and materials of the home however the last field manager(Corey) and the warranty department have being outstanding and closed all the open issues. They response to the issues is almost immediately. Even after closing our field manager and our sale representative still there for us. They are the shining stars from Pulte Homes!!! Based on previous comments from homebuyers we were concern with the warranty department but in our case they are fantastic.

Everyone is eager to help the quality is great the location is great I am extremely happy with my purchase so far everything has gone very well!

The field managers were very responsive to issues that we had without hesitation. Even with the slowdown oxf COVID, things were taken care of to our satisfaction.
