trade employees do not care about quality of work

Pulte Mortgage is the worse to work; glad we had other options. I valued John Weiland as good name, but these home are not up to par with workmanship.

Disappointed and still working through repairs

Unfortunately we are still waiting for completion/repairs after closing. Poor craftsmanship and responsiveness. Builder has so many houses that can not follow up or have attention to details. Labor teams may fix one thing and break or miss two from list. Frustrating.

Field manager unable to keep appointments. Repair items take a while to get fixed. Items that should have been addressed before closing remained after closing.Construction continues from in the dark before 6:15 in the morning to 11:15 at night for plumbers and landscapers which disturb current residents that are living in the subdivision. Sales office not helpful to customer . We had final loan approval in January 2020 but sales office called 1 week before closing to say incorrectly that we didn't. Great project manager but terrible company

We got lucky and had a good project manager. But the builder uses very. cheap sub contractors who do very sloppy work. People in the communities are not happy with the final product.

Craftsmanship of my $1m townhome is disgraceful to say the least. I’m 30 days post closing and the builder still has 15 things to fix. My whole row was done poorly and we all are waiting for Pulte to step up. I was giving promises that it would get fixed and all I feel is regret.

There was little to no communication from builder unless I requested it. I lost two great rates locks waiting a year on completion of a townhouse. Builder is not flexible at all but expects you to be. The millwork and sheet rock work was poorly done. Paying over 500k I would expect better quality/work. Mark up on items you can select from design center is crazy.

Across the board many buyers in this neighborhood have had multiple significant issues (basement water leaks, burned out water heaters, AC problems, non-functional appliances, leaking windows etc..).

John Wieland Homes Master Builder fired before home completion

The home entry way steps are dangerously constructed. The list of items to be completed before sign-off was totally ignored. The home completion team communicated to the closing department that everything was completed. Then the sign off date kept getting pushed back till mere hours before closing. I had to sign because the mortgage rate lock date was that day.

Have had numerous issues, some of them so blatant that i can't believe it's JW home. For example the hardwood floor is already buckling within a month of closing. The carpet is creeking everywhere. Carpet is coming off at places. The attick stair does not open. Many more

JW homes built my home with 3 rd car garage, but without enough paved drive way to navigate a car into the garage. When complained, they don’t even bother to acknowledge there is a problem and try to make corrections

Pulte is ruining the John Weiland name.

My wife and I have never had a worse experience than with a company like this. Stay away from any John Weiland development, as it is under the guise of Pulte Construction. We were warned but current residences, but did not listen. The experiences and stories we have are numerous and would be hard for anyone to even believe. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

Our builder, Travis H. was the absolute worst -- no attention to detail and any issues raised were NOT addressed. We escalated our concerns with upper management and delayed our closing only to find little to no work was done. And upper management didn't address the issue. No need to - they sent a survey to complete a while back - which was done - but not even a house rat has called me to discuss my concerns- the only reason we bought at Foundry is because of Location - NOT BUILDER ! That sentiment is shared with a good majority of the residents that i have personally spoken to - extremely shady and incompetent work - watch this , if a builder cant get basic painting done right what does that tell you ?? Nuff said !

Pulte made a lot of promises that they had improved their building construction but they didn't deliver? There's a lack of craftsmanship and use of contractors that aren't held to a high enough standard.
