I wish I had done my research before buying home from this Builder. the quality is way below then average. The problems we are facing are frustrating.

We had an emergency and we had to turn the water off and it was later at night and our representative and the workers got it done ASAP

Our dishwasher screws to the side so that the rubber seal is not flush and will tear eventually. The screws are not mounted at the top like most dishwashers bc they skimped out on plywood underneath the kitchen counter. We went around in circles for weeks with GE and KHOV about this until that was discovered to be the root cause. Frustrating. Also, the shower in the primary doesn’t contain the water and splashes out. Was told this was the design and they weren’t going to fix it. They point to the model home as the justification which just shows all the homes have the same problem. Also, there’s a hole on the sides of the garage to let in dust and insects, but again, they point to the model home for justification instead of fixing the issue. Be prepared to defend yourself and then be disappointed bc that’s just the way KHOV builds (pointing fingers to the model home, sales pointing at post sale warranty repairs after they get their commission - true sales people over here). ... High quality. I got more than I expected. Great people to work with.

It was a good experience. I would just tell people that the day you get the “Gold key delivery”, even though it says 9am, plan on getting the keys at 5 pm. That was the only bad experience about the move in.

As a first time home buyer it was overwhelming but everyone apart of the team from the builders to the financial team were amazing and helpful!

Financing was the worst experience. This is my 3rd home and the in house financing was atrocious

The home we purchased had many less features than we were shown and promised at the time of purchase. Moreover, no one from KH homes management even bothered to reply to our emails and phone calls. Needless to say it was a frustrating experience.

I had a great experience with the sales office. Communication was excellent. I also had a good experience with the contractors on home delivery. But the quality of the home being built is the worst out of all builders whom I have had in the past. 1) The AC damper was installed WITHOUT power and broken. Immediately after moving in I noticed that only the upstairs vent blows and not the downstairs; causing the multiple issues. When called Chas & Robert - the AC company that KHov partnered with, the technician that the damper was never installed correctly in the beginning. Now, I am still dealing with this AC issue after 2 and a half months of moving in. 2) The bath tub standing pipe is wobbly. It just was not screwed in properly. 3) The patio door shakes every time the the garage door slams which, it should have not. 4) There was a big stain left on the carpet going into the master bathroom after they delivered the house. Out of all these four issues, I fine the AC issue the most unacceptable! I should not be dealing with this on a brand new home with a brand new AC unit. ... More

Overall the home is great!? I didn’t like the bathrooms being painted in flat paint but other then that it’s a beautiful home that iam proud of .

We were in the market for a home. We considered resales and new builds. The rate buy down offers from new home builders were enticing but the troubles and poor quality we read about online for other builders had us on the fence of purchasing a new build. Still we decided to evaluate new builds because interest rates were high and new builds had concessions. We narrowed our search to 2 higher end new home builders. And then came across Khov as the 3rd and liked their floor plans, included features , and location. We bought a quick move in home. Overall, the house was built to spec. The build quality is on par with the other 2 builders we considered with some being better at Khov . The sales, closing, post sales warranty teams worked collaboratively with us. The post sale warranty issues have been resolved quickly. Fortunately all were cosmetic in nature. We’ve only been in the house for a few months, are happy with our purchase. Khov builds a better than average builder quality home and their team cares about making the home purchase experience pleasant for buyers. ... More

Everyone in the entire process was extremely helpful

I came in and was pleasantly surprised by the service I received, I was able to view the different floor plans and pick the perfect one for me. Once I decided to go ahead with the purchase it was a very easy application process and a very quick loan process. Walk throughs were wonderfully explained and all issues addressed and fixed. My only complaint is the carpet that you used is not good. It snags and pulls very easily, even when vacuuming. I would suggest a different carpet. Also, the parking is a big issue in this community, I would suggest when you have a 1 car garage and 2 bedroom home that you have at least enough additional parking for each 1 car garage to have a parking spot. ... We recently built our home with KHov, and our experience has been a mix of highs and lows. The sales team was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful, and truly made the process smooth from the start. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Warranty team, which has been disappointing at best. The biggest issue, however, has been the quality of workmanship, particularly with the drywall and painting. The level of craftsmanship is far below expectations with noticeable imperfections throughout. For the investment we made in our home, we expected much better attention to detail. If you’re considering building with KHov, be prepared for an excellent sales experience, but a frustrating time when it comes to post build support and finishing details. ... More
