I have bought many new homes over the years and I would say this was the best experience. During the last two months of construction I received either weekly or every other week, an update from the head foreman ,via text, on the progress and often he included pictures. It was also the cleanest walk through ever. There were only a few things that I saw needing very minor attention and it was done within 24 hours.

We love our house!! We bought a spec home but it feels like we designed it. It’s everything we want and more. Khov employees have been amazing through this whole process. We have no complaints.

Shane, in sales, was excellent, He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and available for any of our questions or concerns. Very positive experience. Steve started with the construction and then Ben took over to the finish. Ben was awesome to work with. He listened to our questions and concerns and we knew they would be taken care of. Being that we were out of state we had full confidence in Ben handling our concerns. We couldn’t have been happier working with Shane and Ben in building our new home.

I purchased the home in April, pretty much virtually since my primary home is in the Northeast. My daughter and son-in-law who live in Phoenix visited the model and gave the thumbs up. The home is lovely for me and my husband as a second home. Getting items on the punch list addressed was a little rocky at first so I complained to Khov corporate office. Almost immediately, the warranty manager, Josh, came to the rescue and had all the items addressed at my next visit to the home. Everything turned out perfectly well. The garage service door looks like it was picked up from a junk yard and will be replaced at my next visit to AZ. All in all the home suits our needs as a second home and is perfect for that. My only issue, and this is my fault, is that the neighborhood once you leave the development looks very industrial. But in riding around AZ, it appears that there are many neighborhoods built in the middle of industrial zones. I might not have bought this home had I visited in person before buying. Lady Karen was amazing! She was very supportive and informative throughout the whole process. She was FANTASTIC! The house was built extremely fast and we were overall please, the only downfall was that work from the contract trades was bad.

The entire team at McCartney Ranch was a pleasure to work with during the build. Trisha, Hector, Marcus and Todd kept us updated weekly. They also delivered as perfect a home as possible especially with today's material and labor constraints the construction industry is facing.

It really was a nice and easy process from start to finish. Everyone I've had dealings with were very professional and easy to work with. I really would love to give a 5 star review, but the final finish at the very end of the purchase falls short. I bought my home after two of my daughter's bought K Hov homes in the area. We all have the same complaints. The quality of the painter and drywall final finish is poor. They come back after your walk through and they determine whether, or not, what you have marked as unacceptable is worthy of them repairing it. It's really unfortunate to have such a good experience end with imperfections in the drywall and sloppy paint work that you get look at everyday. The K Hov employees explained that it is the contractors discretion if the quality meets "industry" standards. Hovnanian sales and build team were knowledgeable, helpful and timely with thorough responses. The workmanship lacked quality control resulting in far too much rework. The schedule seemed aggressive exacerbating the workmanship issues and leaving too many punch list items after moving in. The warranty and build team were responsive to the issues somewhat mitigating the frustration.

Be sure to take your time at the selection center even if it means going there a couple of times.

My wife I love our new home. The build quality is great. The best part of the experience was the communication and interaction with construction managers Carl, Floyd and Anthony. Trisha was a professional every step of the way and Eyvone responded to our questions/requests in a prompt and professional manner.

The sales staff and construction staff are top notch. Friendly, responsive and have a true interest in wanting you to love your new home. Look, issues happen. It's how your builder responds and corrects problems that is key. They get resolved quickly and even post sale the warranty department has never said no to an issue. They want you happy.

As a first time homebuyer, KHov made the experience pleasant and seamless. Mike was very responsive even after the purchase was completed. They made the experience feel personalized. I would definitely consider purchasing from this builder again.

Make sure they show you all options for upgrades. Don’t take no for an answer always push for what you want. If you see something that is not right speak up. Ask as many questions.

Everything was smooth progress and the team is great.

We are extremely happy with Charlotte and Jeanine. They represent your company very well. We are unfortunately, somewhat unhappy with the workmanship of the new build. It appears the superintendent was not paying attention when the home was built. We have talked with the neighbors and they have experienced almost the same problems. But Jeanine and Charlotte have been able to resolve them. They have been very responsive.

The process from viewing to closing went smooth. The things I asked for they provided. My only issue is the walls are thin and can't sleep in the room next to laundry room if washing machine is on. The appliances are extremely cheap and I'll be changing them soon.

While the process was easy and quick, i moved in to a variety of issues in workmanship and a lack of being detailed oriented. Issues with paint where it shouldn’t be and not where it should, holes, misaligned cabinetry, big dents in the garage door, a broken garbage disposal, to name a few.

Overall, Glen was great. He was very responsive to questions. However, extremely disappointment after closing to see problems with termites, appliances not working, toilets , shower not working, landscape plants, shrubs dying. Melissa in warranthy extremely good

1. Pantry door not fitting properly 2. Glass Panels over fridge missing (Received 10 glass panels instead of 12) 3. Stair step from 1st floor (strip repair) 4. Stucco Repair work done in backyard 5. After stucco repair, patio framing is uneven. 6. Automatic outdoor Cam lights over garage (to be addressed).

Other than the on-site realtor, who was phenomenal, the home purchase was very typical. Standard issues with workmanship.

During the sales process everything was amazing, the house itself is great. Now when it comes to getting things done and replaced. The representative for my community is not very communicative, says she will do something and doesn’t. Have talked to her several times and nothing gets done.

Quality of work for price of homes doesn't equal out, especially when getting appraised.

I had a great experience with the sales office. Communication was excellent. I also had a good experience with the contractors on home delivery. But the quality of the home being built is the worst out of all builders whom I have had in the past. 1) The AC damper was installed WITHOUT power and broken. Immediately after moving in I noticed that only the upstairs vent blows and not the downstairs; causing the multiple issues. When called Chas & Robert - the AC company that KHov partnered with, the technician that the damper was never installed correctly in the beginning. Now, I am still dealing with this AC issue after 2 and a half months of moving in. 2) The bath tub standing pipe is wobbly. It just was not screwed in properly. 3) The patio door shakes every time the the garage door slams which, it should have not. 4) There was a big stain left on the carpet going into the master bathroom after they delivered the house. Out of all these four issues, I fine the AC issue the most unacceptable! I should not be dealing with this on a brand new home with a brand new AC unit. ... More
