Everyone has been great and very responsive. Home looks great, only complaint is there is grout that still needs to be cleaned around one of my bathrooms

Good communication during the build process. Drastic change in customer service after closing. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend based on post close customer service alone.

A potential buyer should know that my experience was great! The team did a great job of answering all of my questions in a timely manner. Most buyers like myself have a lot of questions. Matthew in particular proved himself as a good communicator. He knew the answers to almost all of the questions I threw at him. Everyone worked together as team. The goal was to provide great service and a great product. Well done!

Bought the townhome in Union Park. The house is so well insulated we have not had the air conditioner on for several days in May. The customer service staff, account manager and construction supervisors have been fabulous to work with. They respond the same day to questions.

I looked for over 2 years for a final home of my choice. When processing paperwork I was unaware that HOA fees would be added into DTR (Debt to Ratio). The only builders who explained this to me were the Builders of K Hovnanian. They assisted me in my financial questions before even signing the paperwork to begin building. I was unaware of this DTR, as I never had an HOA before. My experience with K Hovnanian began in November. It was helpful to have them call me and answer all my questions each week as well as send me pictures of my home and its progress. Through this process the country fell into a pandemic. I was concerned that I would not be able to move into my new home at all - especially since I would be traveling back and forth from one state to another. But friends, family, and K Hovnanian made the transition for me smoothly. As a single woman in her late 60's K Hovnanian was there answering any and all questions I had in establishing myself in my new home. I am a stickler for completing paperwork in a timely fashion and truly appreciated the Warranty Gal in instructing me of the benefits of submitting my warranty's on time. Many I had completed before my 30 day meeting with her. I would have missed out on 3 very important warranty's if it was not for her assistance. KHOV has flipped the script on the traditional "horrible builder experience". From jack hammering up concrete to accommodate a floor outlet, to allowing last last minute design changes to even pet sitting during walk throughs KHOV has surpassed every expectation and more. THIS IS the builder to buy from without a doubt. A special shout out to Shane G for unsurpassed customer service in this process- it all started with him and he was consistent throughout the entire process.

Worst home buying experience I have ever had, Who cares right? the house is sold. My keys to the home were left on my kitchen Island, The sales agent did not even have the decency to deliver the home keys personally, whether she liked me or not, it is the professional thing to do. I have already had the house torn apart due to a water leak, and who knows when the cabinets will be complete. I paid $81.00 with a receipt provided to one of the customer service managers named Jeff for an electrician to come in and deal with a bad arching outlet, I Truly was afraid of a house fire, Yeah Yeah we will deal with that and reimburse due to the potentially dangerous situation and arching outlet presents. Sloppy. Light switches not level.

I have bought many new homes over the years and I would say this was the best experience. During the last two months of construction I received either weekly or every other week, an update from the head foreman ,via text, on the progress and often he included pictures. It was also the cleanest walk through ever. There were only a few things that I saw needing very minor attention and it was done within 24 hours.

Everyone was great at keeping me informed and taking the time to answer all questions. Jenny in the sales office was the best! I am very happy with my home. The process was easy and fast. Thank you!

My house is beautiful and feels like it is a very well built home - very solid. All of the employees are very helpful and very polite and friendly. This has been a great buying experience.

We love our house!! We bought a spec home but it feels like we designed it. It’s everything we want and more. Khov employees have been amazing through this whole process. We have no complaints.

do not let them rush your close

I had call in to have painters come back a few times to keep touching up and to paint where blue tape was. It was so bad that after 2-3 times I still have blue tape. I asked Anthony for paint so I could do it myself. The house was not done with all the issues the day I got my keys. I still have an issue with the driveway that is not corrected yet. I closed almost 2 months ago. I have a light switch to the kitchen that is not working. Sabrina and Anthony were great but I can’t really say anything else was great. Lights on outside garage should be standard.

Shane, in sales, was excellent, He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and available for any of our questions or concerns. Very positive experience. Steve started with the construction and then Ben took over to the finish. Ben was awesome to work with. He listened to our questions and concerns and we knew they would be taken care of. Being that we were out of state we had full confidence in Ben handling our concerns. We couldn’t have been happier working with Shane and Ben in building our new home.

It was a really informative, detailed, exciting process for the most part. I was very happy with communication and my home is stunning and makes me feel very proud to call mine and come home to everyday.

Once we got into our home and had the inside painted the texturing on the walls is Very uneven. The dishwasher was leaking because it was installed wrong.

Example of issues that should be taken care at the beginning: * door entrance could see light from outside * power in one room did not worked, * outside trim not painted correctly * garage open broken ( did any one tested) * it took 3 weeks to complete the list of the walk before closing ( if I am correct it was suppose to be completed 3 days when we got keys of the house) * we purchase a home to enjoy it not to get point out to people thing they did wrong and have to deal with fixing 3 weeks after closing) * from beginning house plans were not done as we agree . Error by salesman) *

Make sure they show you all options for upgrades. Don’t take no for an answer always push for what you want. If you see something that is not right speak up. Ask as many questions.
