Every member of the company that I interacted with directly was incredibly helpful every step of the way. I was able to design my house to the smallest detail, and I am incredibly satisfied with the overall result. They were able to work with me to accommodate my schedule, and they worked to finish my unit as soon as possible so that I could move in with ease before the school year really got going (I'm a teacher). I greatly appreciate all of the wonderful K Hovnanian did for me.

Our home is beautiful but there has been a lack of quality re-work on concern areas.

I had my home inspected by a Certified independent inspector and he found no Issues with our new KHov Villa Home. I was happy with the weekly construction status meetings during the construction process.

Over all the buying experience was good. I feel like the price should have less by 5-10%

There is a definate lack of quality control during the handover to the owner. It is clear that during the build all trash, excess nails, wires, screws are just swept into the backyard and burried. The features are not well thought out do not work well with all models. Some features do NOT have professional planning involved, it seems they where options to raise the overall purchase price. Every container of paint left was open and unsealed. Many minor details that lead to a long lasting easy to maintain home are overlooked or not an option. The finance company associated with KHOV should be audited and does not follow proper protocol. The floor is very nice. Cabinets are worth the upgraded stain. The neighborhood here has a good vibe and the abjacent open desert is nice for walks. ... More

We were very disappointed with our new home. The workmanship and materials were not what we expected for the price we paid for our new K. Hovnanian Home. Some of the issues -- the paint was thin, the carpet and pad are low quality even though we paid for an upgrade; the seams on the carpet are sticking out in most of the doorways; the grout work is very poor quality; a couple of the bathroom sinks were chipped and the repair work was shoddy at best; the frames of the windows and sliding glass doors are stained with paint/sealant and were not cleaned; and the house had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our moving in. ... We are so happy with the way our new home has been built. The builders are passionate about what they do and they never fail to the extra mile to make sure they meet the satisfaction of the homeowner. I am happy to have made the right choice.

Sales person/manager/design center need some training so they are on the same page! Quality of work sucks! Contractors maybe paid on the very low salary and maybe not license. Came on some weekends with the contractor family on site kids playing (age ranging from 6 yrs old to 15 yrs old) on my very expensive upgrade flooring....The schedule for some touch up/repair is more than the wait of doctors appointment! Wall uneven and dusty, carpet is not covered while they in and out the house for some electrical issues, making holes on several spot on the wall for electrical access. Those holes they make still visible because of the texture is not the same. Right now still having issues with the cabinets and parts maybe available next month. ... More

Every person that I worked with from Leslie at the design center, Matthew in sales, Kevin and Mark the construction superintendents were professional, knowledgeable and always helpful when I had questions. They made sure every detail was taken care of even after I had moved in.

Very courteous and easy to work with on all levels.

This was out first time owning a home that we had built from the ground up. We picked our various colors, etc. Knowing that this house was to mean a lot to us really made a difference. Now that we are in the house, we love it! Selecting, dealing and negotiating was a big impact on us. The sales individual was wonderful, very kind, generous, customer oriented and was very knowledgeable. Once those wishes were submitted and everything else falls to someone at a desk, the journey was not so pleasant. To draw the customer in was great, its the other individuals who need to work on their people skills, throughout its process. To include understanding, knowledgeable of procedures and just down right being pleasant instead of reacting as if it is their next paycheck. Entire process from the initial sales appointment throughout construction and after closing, interactions with Shane, Steve, Bruce and Josh have been most helpful and responsive

I was surprised at the issues we ran into. Especially the finishes. Painting is really poor. We also had problems with plumbing and lighting. there is a switch in the loft that does not make sense and appears to be a mistake, but it will not be corrected. I continue to find issues.

K Hovnanian replaced floor tiles before we saw any flaws because they weren't up to their standards. On our 30 day inspection list we found only 2 very minor items, and we received a response the same day. Can't ask for more than that!

Outstanding new builder.

We were not there during construction, but spoke to the sales rep, Kelsey, often. She was always knowledgeable of the process and always quick to respond to any of our concerns. A pleasure to work with.
