I would highly recommend k hovnanian homes. They just do a great job

From the very moment we set foot in our new home we were disappointed. The house was still a construction zone with literal piles of dirt on the floors, paint splatter, construction dust, plastic, grout that hadn’t been finished, paint that was not done well, outlets that weren’t level, a window that wasn’t square, an AC unit that was physically damaged, scuffed cabinets, warped doors, scuffed handles, mismatched pulls on vanities, faucets that didn’t match, and the list goes on and on. It was as if there was no quality control whatsoever. We have had to report the same issues over and over and over. We have had to send the same pictures over and over and over. We are now 4 months in and there are still issues that haven’t been dealt with or had a firm schedule put to them. We have had ti submit the same issues so many times it has made our heads spin. This home, if done right, is absolutely beautiful, but we should not have been given a dirty mess upon delivery. When we complained, they sent cleaners who were here for less than an hour. When they left, there were still dirty surfaces and paint splatter all over the place. It was extremely disheartening. There seem to be two teams here. Team Construction vs Team Warranty. The constant arguing between them over whose job it was to have something done is incredibly unprofessional. It's as if the construction team doesn't realize that they are building alongside residence. Blocking driveways, debris everywhere, and working at all hours! Quality is lacking overall. Thank goodness for warranty claims. Sales process was pleasant but difficult. This may be out of KHov's control. I think it's just getting harder to qualify for so many people.

The house had to many thing there not llook good like the bathrooms sinks has same ckacks as well the floors AND the walls paint looks so cheap AND kitchen cabinets with a few cracks AND when you make the claim the person on charge seems like he doesn't looks profesional AND his not help to much

The time frame was prefect and right on-time moved in before Halloween, before the big holidays.

It was streamlined but craftsmanship could be improved

We had issues with the loan department and sending multiple documents. Seems that they were not communicating with each other. Sales representatives were always helpful. Electrical sockets in both bathrooms weren't tested prior to move in. So they didn't work. Walls needed repairs after the first month as you could see all the nicks, nails etc. The drywall is just painted over. Been here for 3 months and the refrigerator door handle came off. Maintenance requests submitted however, it takes a while for them to respond to them?

KHov was all around fantastic. Answered all our questions, followed up on all requests in a timely matter, and we enjoyed working with an all around friendly team. Would highly recommend to others.

Claire was very helpful and knowledgeable of the Hovnanian Products, She delivered on all my questions and concerns. Ben was the one who monitored our build process and gave me a weekly text with pictures of the build process. Upon delivery Ben spent a great deal of time explaining every aspect of the home pans answered all my questions.

Enjoyable buying experience! I would do it again.

We’ve been in this house 3 months. Poor quality workmanship. People are very nice but like I said the quality is not there. There are seams in carpet and the carpet does not ware well, walls are painted uneven and marks can be made so easily they use flat paint. When asked to fix these issues their response was, “that’s how it is in the model” but my bathroom was built differently than the model which threw me off when ordering storage. Been here 3 mo. So far the heating and cooling and appliances are fine.

Hello! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Tracey R. during the process of buying a home. She answered all my questions, very easy to work with, and was always available for anything I needed. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of purchasing my home. Don’t get me wrong, I love my house but there are so many issues around the house. The walls have a lot of scratches, paint all over the window frame, ceilings look like a train marks all over it (it’s so bad). Truly lazy work from the builders, I have no idea how anyone can sign off to my house being complete. I understand it’s my fault and should not have moved into the house until it was in great standing for a new home but I couldn’t delay the process of moving in. I recommend to stay away from K. The buying experience had mostly 5 star components along with a couple sub-par elements. Erika and Amy from Sales have been very helpful, even after the sale they continue to provide support. Tyson and Scott in Construction have been responsive and Alyssa in Customer Support is my best resource for getting issues resolved. Overall quality is typical for spec home ("fast") builders, highlighted by the design and energy efficiency features and degraded by corporate decisions that may make sense from KHOV's financial perspective but can leave lasting issues with the homeowner. Khovanian was amazing, the sales office staff, financing, closing, and warranty have just been great from day 1.

Buying our new hone in Scottsdale Heights was made easy by their professionals we worked with.

As a first time home buyer I was a little scared. The sales team was phenomenal. They kept me in formed and the builder was very nice, understanding and had great follow through. I absolutely love my house and am very pleased with how quick and easy the process was for me.

We had a great experience throughout the whole process of buying the home. Tracy was always attentive to our needs to matter how important or trivial our concern was. Matt also provided pictures of the progress of our home during construction. When we did our final walkthrough, both Tracy and Matt showed up and made sure every little concern or small fix we wanted was taken care of by the time we moved in.

I purchased the home in April, pretty much virtually since my primary home is in the Northeast. My daughter and son-in-law who live in Phoenix visited the model and gave the thumbs up. The home is lovely for me and my husband as a second home. Getting items on the punch list addressed was a little rocky at first so I complained to Khov corporate office. Almost immediately, the warranty manager, Josh, came to the rescue and had all the items addressed at my next visit to the home. Everything turned out perfectly well. The garage service door looks like it was picked up from a junk yard and will be replaced at my next visit to AZ. All in all the home suits our needs as a second home and is perfect for that. My only issue, and this is my fault, is that the neighborhood once you leave the development looks very industrial. But in riding around AZ, it appears that there are many neighborhoods built in the middle of industrial zones. I might not have bought this home had I visited in person before buying. The big plus is that I am only 30 min. from my daughter and I only wanted new construction. ... More

During the sales process everything was amazing, the house itself is great. Now when it comes to getting things done and replaced. The representative for my community is not very communicative, says she will do something and doesn’t. Have talked to her several times and nothing gets done.

Other than the regular stress that comes with buying a home in this economy, K. Hov was amazing. We were so impressed with their communication from the very beginning all the way through to the time we closed on our home. Susan (our sales rep) was so fantastic, and made our numerous visits to the model home pleasant (we went alot). Both of the construction managers were amazing, down to earth and always willing to answer our questions. We had a few minor issues after we moved in (which is to be expected), and K. Hov responded immediately, sent tech's out and followed up to make sure the issue was resolved. Most builders just cut out once you close, and we have been very happy with the whole process.
