We purchased a model home that was built 2 years ago. The structure usually starts showing some cracks in 2 years, but this house was as good as it was just constructed. That shows the quality of the construction Khovnanian offers. The entire staff right from the sales agent Heba to the warranty folks who did a walkthrough of the house were extremely helpful and patient. Being first how owners we had a lot of questions and were very anxious but Heba made the whole process extremely smooth for us. She was always available to help us with anything we needed. Very good service and very professional

Heba our sales consultant and Scott our warranty guy are both amazing. They made sure that all our needs are met. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable at our new home. They seem to pride themselves for what they do. Even the financial department they were all amazing people, they didn't give us a hard time and it was smooth sailing throughout the approval process. It was a pleasure working with them. We were fortunate to have this team working with us to help us get our dream house.

It was a good experience. Wasn't perfect but it was good. I would recommend this neighborhood and the company that built the homes here, K.Hovnanian.

Good house for the price, but we had to correct a number of errors they made during the building process. Luckily, we live nearby so we caught the problems and they were able to be fixed right away. If you stay on top of them, you should be happy with the final product.

Quality of workmanship is so poor, you can tell they did everything so quick or in hurry that they do not care what the outcome or quality is. The sad part is, if, you make a request for them to fix any issues, it takes forever. Forever is not an overexageration, as a matter of fact up until now my issues them are not fixed yet, countless follow ups and they do not care! All they want is to hand off the key to you and whatever issues you found prior, is full of promises. We will do this and do that.... if you do purchase a home with them, make sure you have them fix your issues prior to finalizing everything or else, like me I have to constatly request for them to fix making you the one asking them for favors, were it should hVe been their responsibility from the beginning, if only they did right. ... Follow up is key, notifying home buyer, when its time to pick options offered in homes. Missed out on options builder provided, Not designed center. providing materials in a timely manner that came with home. Still waiting on garage doors offered with home. No follow up from builder, when we will receive the doors offered with our plan. Communication is key, with the builder and home buyer. Sales person was great, very friendly, personable. Had some issues after move-in with air condition unit, missing parts, water leak that cause damage to ceiling upstairs bedroom. Builder warranty responded quickly when called to fix the issues. ... finishing was delayed a lot incentive was very less

Unfortunately delays of at least two months due to Covid 19 . The reasoning for all things that did not go as planned . Heba did her job on the sales end however the staff after that were less in performance .

The home did not come with what we were sold by our sales person. We were told that we were going to get a gas line into the back yard, pre wiring for cameras, pre wiring for alarm, drop station, cabinets above my refrigerator. These are all items that we were sold that the home wasn’t built with. I have had a plumbing issue since the day I moved in with my second bathroom, the toilet does not flush right. The first time someone showed up he said he didn’t have the correct tools and left, the second time someone showed up un announced while I was on my way to work and the third person who showed up told my husband that he was “just fulfilling a work order” and he mentioned that the lines need to be camera and he told the builder that and he doesn’t know why he’s here. The entire process from booking to closing house was tiresome. I booked my home in November and the delivery date was in March. But I got the house in August. Each time I talk to the builder the house was getting delayed by a month. I understand the delay was because of delay in raw material, labour, city and COVID but as a customer it felt frustrating. The quality of the house is pretty good. There were minor things which builder took care immediately. The builder team were pretty helpful and informative. They delivered what was told. I had some minor issues when I went ahead with my own lender rather than builders lender but it was resolved in timely manner. I would recommend this builder to any of my friends ... More

Didn't lock in our rates before they were raised; didn't address issues despite being assured they would be fixed; model was deceptive on options available; poor craftsmanship, especially behind panels that you don't notice during walk through.

My spouse fell in love with the home after seeing it for the first time. We had a very easy sales experience with Heba with no major problems. After moving in, it all went down hill. We had multiple GKO items identified in the first walk through that needed to be fixed as well as other identified items that we opened a ticket on to fix. Well, it's been 6 weeks since we move in our home and there has been almost no response from the builder on fixing them. I have worked with three different people now and they have all promised that certain items will be fixed but they never follow through. I am currently working with their supervisor to ty and get them fixed. For the price I paid for my home, the quality and lack of customer service has been extremely disappointing. ... More

Absolutely frustrated and disappointed with this builder. They are only good and helpful when trying to SELL you the property. After many phone calls and emails regarding missing upgrades (that I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR) and urgent service calls--broken dishwasher; stove hood and a clogged bathtub plus a long list of many more items--they still have not addressed any of these! There are other quality builders with great workmanship and most importantly SERVICE but this builder DOES NOT meet any of those requirements!

My first review got denied because I went into too much detail of all the things they did wrong so maybe if I leave it vague it will get approved. There was a bunch of stuff done wrong all throughout the house. Including a sewage pipe that was never properly installed/crumbling backed up into the home exposing a lot of different things that were done wrong that would’ve never been seen if it did not. The company said they will fix it and get everything right this was back on November 1 we’re now at December 11 and nothing has been done correctly still terrible company took it vantage of a first time home buyer beware get your your own home inspector and make sure they’re there for every single thing step of the home building. ...
