Overall, the builder and home buying experience was great. We hit some snags due to the pandemic, but we made it through and I'm home! I have only had a couple of minor maintenance issues that were addressed immediately. An awesome team on the ground here. Many thanks for creating my beautiful forever home!

When I signed the contract, I was told it will be six months, but likely it will be done in five months. I wasn’t holding my breath and just wanted it to be done by the contract date. As time went by, I started to get nervous when I didn’t see any progress on the house. Instead of getting updates on when the frame walk, etc was going to be, I had to call and requested for that information. Even when the date was provided and was getting near, I didn’t see how that date was going to be met based on the process made. Again, when I inquired 2 weeks before the frame walk date if it was achievable, I was then told that there is a delay. I was given a new date and when I showed up, it was a partial walk, as all the things there were supposed to be done were not. Again, it got rescheduled by another week+. The new superintendent was switched to a new person that came from Lennar, Tim. He quickly took over the situation and became my point of contact. Great team from sales person to the actual people building the house. Would definitely buy another K Hov house again. Top Notch work done around the house

I had never heard of K. Hovnanian Homes prior to this home buying experience. So far, I am happy with my home and would purchase a future home from this builder. In my first two months of living in my new neighborhood, I feel comfortable and secure, both inside and outside my home.

I will not buy again K.Hovnanian because Quality is really Bad.A lot of issues need to be fix.Construction worker and inspection are not professional.They don’t know how to do they jobs.We are not happy.If we know the kind of issues we wouldn’t buy a home from K.Hovnanian.We should buy other Builder.We spend so much money for our home but quality we got very very bad.I will not recommend all my family’s,coworkers and all my friends.All outside Electronically outlets no power until now.I told construction manager and supervisor but still not done yet.Home number sign has no light until now.Flooring had gap everywhere upstairs and down stairs.ant and spider coming from flooring gap hole.we are very disappointed.Stairs handle was broken.Screws mark hole every where.Dry wall had damaged and bath tube had damaged in master bathroom and downstairs full bath.We spend so much money for a home but not even worth it.Very careless peoples.We are the most not happy about our home a lot of issues need to be fix it.Support to be no need to be worry about anything.If you guys are expect persons it shouldn’t be like this.Very Very Bad construction K.Hovnanian.Sale agent was super nice and she know what she doing her jobs.She was more then outstanding jobs.Her name is Niki.I will give her 100%.We are very happy with sale agent Niki.We are spending so much money for upgrading but Quality was really bad.Construction peoples are not professional.They are not doing good jobs for most likely every where our home.Other home owner have a lot issues too.Overall we are not happy because of a lot of issues need to be fix.Support to be not to worry about anything.We will not buy again K.Hovnanian in our life time.It is our family’s dream home support to be enjoying and happiness because of construction workers are not very careless and don’t care about home owners.Because of what they did our home quality was very very Bad.That right we can not enjoy our dream family’s home and we are not happy.Never buy again with K.Hovnanian Homes. ... I was treated like I was intruder when my house was getting built I was told to leave or he will call the police on me and my wife poor way to treat people and with my repairs not getting done because they saying there is nothing wrong .crack concrete stain and poor repairs on a back patio I pay 14000 dollars to have poor cuality not very happy I will let you know is a good house but the people working on a construction at garden glen are poor mind people that they only looking at production and not quality and customer service to satisfy your buyers or home owners. Especially in these trying times from shortages of workers and supplies you need to have patience and understanding. We hit a couple bumps but everyone involved did what they could and everything was addressed and acknowledged.

Scott was very responsive and helpful to the homebuying process. Kept us well-informed with all of the COVID-induced challenges to getting the home ready, and has come by after we moved in as well to check in.

I am happy with this builder. The team member here are friendly, easy to reach out and response prompts. The houses designed are beautiful.

Great experience purchasing in Creekside Preserve. Susan was extremely helpful answering questions throughout the process. Ashley and Jody were very patient with us as we made our selections in the design center. Bob has been a great construction manager to work with. He was very responsive towards items we felt needed to be addressed and understood our expectations for quality work. Overall wonderful experience.

Got my home and couple things were not right. Reported them to the representative and have not heard anything back it’s been more then a month that things are reported but no one got back with an answer.

The sales people were great and the 2nd home care rep was great. My house took 3 months longer to complete than I had planned on. Some of the repairs needed were scheduled but no shows. The houses really need 2 coats of paint instead of one as it looked blotches until I had them out. The stucco should be mid grade stucco as mine was too thin in a large area and you could easily poke a finger through it. They did however get the contractor out and they did an excellent repair job and put wood behind the stucco so it could not be pushed in easily. They ran out of the flooring I was supposed to get and did not tell me however, what they put in the house was even nicer than I originally selected. The bathroom counter tops I ordered they ran out of but told me and I selected a much nicer alternative I am very pleased with. The customer care person is awesome! He replaced someone who left right before I moved in and has the public relations and professionalism that customers can count on. He and the sales team are exceptional. ... More

Very nice people to deal with. There were some delays in the building process due to material delays. Not their fault. However, after the close of escrow we have had delays in getting needed repairs and finish work done. They are short handed right now and missing the mark on timely responses and work completion.

Staff is pretty good. Bob gave us weekly updates and delivered the house on time. He is awesome. Love our new home

There are some issues with the house faded paint, backyard outdoor light is not working and two bathroom air vent are not working properply.

Although there were a handful of issues throughout the process, we absolutely love our new home! We understand that some of the issues were COVID related, however there was a lack of communication during the initial process. Bob (the foreman) was able to improve our experience and regain our trust by doing weekly updates and contacting us promptly when an issue arose. We are currently working with K Hovnanian’s warranty department to correct our master shower enclosure, hoping to have a good experience with them as well.

The home buying experience was fairly seamless

We have a lot of things that carried over into warranty. We have not heard anything about them. Have not seen a ticket in the portal, not any follow up. Was told our contact was no longer with the company 2 weeks after moving in. Overall quality of work can tell there is lack to attention to detail.

I enjoy looking at the whole process my home being built the contractors was nice and they work very hard. The building manager inspector was real nice. K.H is very good.

I've had a very good experience with friendly, helpful staff, great response to my requests as well as timeliness with delivering what's promised. I love my new home!

Great experience overall but there have been a few set backs in terms of materials.

Quality and and detail to work okay at best. Easily seen issues ignored unless brought up.

One criticism that I feel should be mentioned is the quality of the interior paint used. We elected to upgrade to a color choice. Unfortunately, there was no opportunity to upgrade quality and therefore the flat finish on the paint was not what we would have liked. I would suggest that the option to choose a paint color also be accompanied by an option to upgrade the paint quality.
