I feel great to be a part of KHOV. Loved the house quality/design that come with our homes. Only part i want KHOV to improve is about having better communication with buyers. When buying dreams(homes) buyers don't want to have false promises. Thank you.

The build needs to be more through. We had to call for so many things in regards to paint, av not working, door bell not working after we moved in!!!

Sales consultant was very proficient. Convenient and cost effective environmental design. Materials are mid-level at the MIRs.

This builder is great, but the responsiveness on issues with this he home is not so good.

Home buying process went well.

The on-site sales staff were efficient and curtsey. The loan processor worked closely with me to iron out the few issues that came up regards to my credit. At first, I was concern that all of my financing was being considered long distance to another state but we found ways to work around the time difference.

My initial contact person with the builder was very responsive to calls and texts and walking me through the process. When I actually got into the home, I was instructed to send emails to the identified email address. I got an auto reply that someone would get back to me within 48 hours. Weeks went by without me hearing from anyone. I saw one of the building managers around working on the neighbor's home and he handled some things personally for me. that was helpful. So, overall, the system has some gaps that need to be addressed; however, there were several individuals within the company that helped make things smooth for me. It was a wonderful experience buying my home through k.hov

Over all its good, but construction team and quality needs to be improved. As they are reluctant to answer and timely work.

We enjoyed working with the sales staff, they were very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that K-Hov did not honor their own Hometown Hero credit, that is why the lower score for Trustworthiness.

I do have good experience with khov except service tickets.

While I love my new home, I found communication with the company to be difficult and lacking in the final month of the process.

Sales Department is great! John and Jen are great to work with.

While my overall purchase experience was good, I think that K.Hovnanian drops the ball on their communication with their buyers. There were a few things that we were very disappointed with and it seems that upper management just kind of passed it on to their front line reps (the sales office) Although there was nothing that they could do personally (even I knew that) they tried their hardest to make it right. Example One - we were initially told that putting our earnest money in held the price of the home. Turns out it did not but the sales person that assisted us (not our sales person because she was out of the office) took zero responsibility for what she had told us and we were given zero consideration to the fact that this was done to us (and now the home was $16000 more) Instead I got the line that "My management said there was nothing we could do about that." That's fine, but at least own up to your error. Example two, We were delayed by 3 months. Our initial date in Feb, then March, then April. Causing me to go beyond my lease and pay a premium on my rent because I was month to month. When I asked for some type of compensations, the response was No our company does not do that. The only apology came from our salesperson. Also the fact that all of their options were as packages vs "A la Carte" really made me sad. While it maybe every day that you guys are selling the homes, its a monumental purchase for first time homebuyers. I think that you guys should keep that in mind when doing design meetings, frame walks and move-ins ... More

Overall happy with purchase and family is happy. There were numerous small issues that need to get resolved and lots of sloppiness in many areas of the home.

We enjoyed working with John. He made the experience enjoyable, he's knowledgeable, trustworthy and funny. We were disappointed and frustrated with quite of few things. Some people were very disorganized and rushed. Made lots of mistakes and didn't listen very well on the walk through. Its been over a month and we still have m People coming in to fix things.. the supervisor Ricardo is wonderful. Even though he's visiting alot because there are problems. He at least listens and solves it right away. We got our home early but it would of been better to have it done right. Things just felt very rushed and sloppy.. from being rushed to pick up grades and rushed to sign paperwor ... More

Constant delays and unreliable time lines. Finally got the keys 2 months after we were supposed to close. Inspections and walk thrus were rescheduled 4-5 different times where we had to rearrange our lives to make it convenient for the builder. Very disappointed in the homebuying process.

My home is beautiful and the price is amazing! It was a magical experience watching with hopefulness that this beautiful home from dirt field to solid walls and roof would one day be mine. There is much excitement with knowing no one else has lived in my home or made any memories. There are so many well thoughtout designs included, such as the numerous amounts of light switches in just the right locations, dual level air conditioning and heat control, the Internet based products (that were not upgrades but included), beautiful color schemes, open concept, modern finishings, options for upgrades, and sizable rooms and restrooms. I feel blessed to be a K. Hovnanian® Home Owner! With all blessings there are areas of improvement. These recommendations include following through with meetings and stages of the home building as was explained in the pamphlet at time of signing for intent to purchase. As well as the recommendation of not signing off on final walk through unless everything is fixed that is discussed during the final walk through instead of believing that the site supervisor "will take care of it." This is my only regret with my purchase. What was supposed to be any "easy fix" is now a headache, and a home warrantee request. Buying a Khovanian home was a fun experience. Sales team was very helpful. When walk through a were scheduled they were during working hours, I do think a different time frame would be better. The home is beautiful in itself given that it’s new but as we live in it longer we do see defects that we have brought to the superintendent attention. I do understand that there is a delay and shortages due to Covid, but if things are done right the first time there is no need to go back and fix anything. Overall my experience was ok, there was a confusion on delivering my keys. Construction manager was holding on to them when we were standing outside our home. I didn’t expect it to be magical but I also didn’t expect to have to wait an hour for the construction manager to decide when he wanted to give me my keys. ... More
