A lot of turnover with construction managers throughout the build, but our last one, Joe, was very good. He was attentive, followed up, and diligent. Our experience with Joe was a good one. Our sales reps (Elizabeth and Tracy) were excellent. We had a great experience with Elizabeth and we'd recommend her to anyone looking to buy from K. Hov in the area.

Elizabeth and Tracey were there for us every step of the way. The customer service was excellent. Elizabeth kept us in the loop on the progress of our house from day one. She is like a member of our family now. We could call her for anything at anytime. Our assistant construction manager Joe was very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. This team is outstanding.

A lot of features of the home are very good. The sales person, design consultant and superintendent were very personable and helpful. The home and materials were good but some of the workmanship is poor.

Beautiful house, well built. I bought one of the models, fully furnished, and all the extras. Love the house. Love the neighborhood with clubhouse, pool, and access to Red Mill Pond. Highly recommended builder and neighborhood. Had some issues with the dryer, which was not installed correctly, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Our purchase experience and process of building was excellent. Since completion, we have had 2 issues that we cannot get KHov to respond to. One with our irrigation system and now with a failed inspection by the Lewes water department.

Location, location, location!!! They have always been the most important item when searching for and deciding on where to buy your primary residence. Next (in my opinion) are Construction Quality, Community Layout & Amenities, followed closely by Price Point / Perceived or Expected Value. Our experience with the K. Hovnanian Team was Excellent considering the important items mentioned above. My wife and I Highly Recommend K. Hovnanian builders and especially the Tower Hill community in Lewes, DE

The sales and PM on our home were great to work with. Both provided feedback in a timely manner. Our walk thru of the house was never rushed and very detailed. Even after several months in the house, the K Hov team remains friendly and attentive.

We were very pleased that the timing from purchase to move in was what they initially projected and pretty much flawless. We were pleased with our new home and the few concerns we had were handled in a relatively timely manner.

Kenny and Giuseppe were both extremely friendly and easy to work with.

our experience with Vicki our salesperson was great from the start. She was always responsive and friendly. Our construction manager Fred was also fantastic. He made sure that the punch list was completed. We did have some issues with electrical and hvac when we first moved in (things that should have been checked before closing) but Fred and Paul got the trades out quickly to fix these issues.

Excellent home for the purchase price. Several delays in production and delivery.

We were a couple hours from the site so the E-Mail was a big advantage . The job super was always responsive and we let him do his job . During a planed site visit we could see the organized progress and job site cleanliness and we did not come back until competion .

Very pleased with condition of home and time spent on time going over the home. However move in date was changed multiple times which made our move from Texas much more stressful than we had hoped

Overall exciting process, would have preferred more options for fixtures, bathrooms, and appliances, decent value for the money regarding supply chain issues. A bring your own appliance would be nice.

It has been a good experience. We have had some issues we’ve had to address but most have been taken care of. We would buy from Hovnanian again.

All things above were well taken care of. Questions were informed and answered quickly. Our realtor was wonderful!

I want to start with the fact that overall I am happy with the home. The overall process was fairly good. We did have a last minute delay with only a couple (2 or 3 I can't remember exactly) weeks notice which caused my family to scramble at the last minute to find a place to live. What is most frustrating about the delay is that it was something that could have been avoided with better planning. All KHOV needed to do was to ensure that the gas meter was installed in time instead of waiting until the last minute so that they didn't incur carrying costs with a gas bill. The construction of the home has the feel of quality building and we do not hear people talking or walking from across the home. The materials used are not the most expensive around but are of good quality. Although during construction we asked for KHOV to add 1 ethernet cable to one room that we were going to use as an office and we got the run around. Instead of telling us no, which is what ultimately happened, they strung us along. Apparently running a $20 ethernet cable was too much trouble for them. The design of the home has good flow and having 2 bedrooms with private baths gives us more options. The design of the kitchen and bathrooms were both done well. Even the kitchen cabinets are of good quality. One issue with the design is that we have a white backsplash with a cream colored countertop, I mean who does that. And no we did not have a choice in these options. Even though we asked about changes we were told the process was too far along, even though they were still studding out walls when we bought the place. The finishing of the home is sub-par at best. Some spots I would even call very poor. The flashing around the outside of some of the windows looks like the caulk was put on by a kid finger painting. The interior paint has plenty of drip spots and is so cheap that is is not cleanable. It appears to be eggshell so that it helps to hide the sheetrock finish imperfections. We will need to have the entire interior painted at some point. I have pointed out a lot of the negatives because those are the things that stick in your mind so I want to be sure to set the record straight. I am happy with this home overall and if given the chance I would purchase it again. The home has a great layout, plenty of windows and we love the double ovens in the kitchen. Our salesman Dave and project manager Colin have been very responsive to issues and always have time to talk with us. ... More

We purchased a Spec Home so we were not involved in the design process! We obviously liked the design of the house and the amenities that were offered. One note that I state as the materials is that because it was a spec home I was a little disappointed in the framing materials that were used and observed during the process. The houses I have witnessed that have been purchased to be built appear to have a better quality framing materials from my observation. All other materials seem to be of equal quality and we have enjoyed the design and amenities.

The Villages at Red Mill Pond is a great community!

Overall, it has been a very positive experience. Our needs were addressed in a timely manner. The sales staff have been helpful.
