The only confusing area in our whole experience has been who is in charge of what area when you make a service call. Even though you only call one number, you end up being told at times that what you're calling about has nothing to do with warranty and that it is a the construction manager's responsibility to handle this issue...complicated by the fact that I have had several different individuals calling me back about the same issue...would be nice to have one point person. Homeowners should also be told in advance how the service desk process works...not being given just a number! Response time to tickets needs to be addressed as well. ... More

My Khov home buying was exceptional. The sales team and property manager were true professionals. Definitely assets to your organization.

This is our second home and we don’t live nearby so having a great sales person to help us with questions and send photos along the way was so nice and helpful!

What stood out for me at K Hov was the sales team and how helpful and responsive they were! My sales rep Elizabeth made the overall experience so enjoyable as she was never pushy and provided us with all the information and resources we needed to make our decision. She kept us informed the whole way through on the progress of our home and anything she needed from us along the way. All departments from Sales, Lending, to the Project Management team were extremely friendly and did what they said they would do throughout the process. Our sales person, Elizabeth, had THE BEST customer service attitude of anyone we've ever worked with. She sent pictures and videos of the progress regularly, she was super responsive to our questions, helped us as we navigated some ADA needs that we had, and really was an outstanding face to your company!! We recently built a custom home and didn't have this level of service. She is a true asset to your company!!

Started the process of buying this house in July 2020 did not settle until November 2021. The global pandemic along with supply chain and labor issues were significant factors for our late close. Our initial superintendent left the company and our house was neglected and not worked on for months as homes around ours were completed and closing. We traveled to Delaware every weekend to address these issues as other homes around us began to close rapidly. Shoddy foundation and interior finish work held up our close as we refused to settle until major issues were fixed. If we had not been proactive with our house, it would probably not be finished today. Stay on top of your superintendent and his boss to complete your home .Our advice is to address all issues and refuse to settle until your home is completely acceptable to you. Hire an outside inspector prior to settlement who can help uncover any issues that need to be addressed. Do not get pressured into settling on your home until it is perfect - you will then get in line with all the other homeowners in this development who are waiting to have their punch lists completed. ... In general, our experience has been awful. Settlement was delayed six times, and six weeks following settlement, items identified during orientation inspection have not been completed despite multiple promises to do so.

The overall home buying experience, while formidable, was made easy by the key people we interfaced with along the way. If any issues arose during the construction process, we were informed right away. The construction materials and systems used to build our home are of superior quality, and we are very happy in our new home!

The website is misleading. You do not get the things you see on the website.

The builder was untimely in delivering the home however it is unclear as to the impact of Covid and workers.

Get punch list completed before closing. I'm waiting 5 months.

Overall I understand that this was an abnormal situation when you build a home during a pandemic- I get it. However, the follow up of our questions was poor throughout the process from our project manager. Even after closing, we rarely get a response when we reach out to anyone from the construction team regarding outstanding issues. Happy with the home so far, but the process could have been better.

The workmanship was average at best. Plenty of areas where drywall was very poor and had to be re-done. Paint job was not great. Fireplace had to be re-set. Many other minor items, but most are being addressed. Garage door — some worker mistakenly drilled holes in the wrong panel. He should have admitted his mistake. At least it was the same panel that was also dented. Eventually it will be replaced. I have purchased new construction before and that home was built with much more care and quality.

I would not recommend K.Hov. They make promises that aren't delivered and the quality of workmanship is lacking. We waited 16 months for a cookie cutter home that should have taken 4 months. The quality of work was beyond disappointing. Even after closing, there are many punch list items that have not been delivered.

Every single person that I had contact with from K.Hov went above and beyond. My overall experience was excellent. Dave H. Sales Manager at Autumn Ridge was so amazing he answered all of my questions, was incredibly responsive and just went above and beyond. Jamie and Michele my mortgage broker and loan processor walked me through the entire qualifying process. They were so helpful! Colin the builder was great to work with, he was so accommodating with adjustments needed. He was very responsive and even recommended a landscaper! They rush you to settlement with open promises and never complete a task. They never show up for follow up appointments. There is no excuse for poor customer service. Totally under staffed but they keep starting new houses but never finish the others.

They were always present during the experience. The quality is great and the people were very helpful throughout the process. They finished the home exactly when they said they would.

I dont think I can write a good review past the sale of the house. Lack of communication all fell through after the sale of the house. So many missing items (such as a window in my master bath?) and replacements had to be done. No urgency to finish items on the list The attention to fine detail was no under expectation Delay in making house, some pandemic but MOSTLY not Original foreman not aggressive at all Under standard vendors to finish the job, multiple trips or they dont show Almost 3 months out and still the list is not complete and our list was not half as bad as many of our neighbors False promises Starts at the top of the line of management I can go on....I think you can guess who this is? The sales person and buying experience was very good. However, the building process was not as good. Building and finish of the house was delayed by 6 months. Construction managers were leaving frequently. Seems like they could not keep up with sales. Lots of last minute scrambling before settlement, cancelled settlement at the last minute and now post settlement very slow to address punch list items.

Construction management was awful. No communication during process

I experience several major issues throughout the build process. From lengthy delays due to the pandemic, which I do not blame the builder for, to shoddy work, laborers who don't seem to care about their work or the end result, to improper insulation of exterior walls, to home buyer having to point out multiple issues that builder ignored, to delays in getting corrections made, etc. The entire experience was less that ideal, and now after having taken delivery 2 months ago, I am still dealing with issues that were not corrected during final walkthrough.
