My husband and I were looking for home in Delaware for a long time. We knew that we wanted a new home and we knew the area we wanted to be near and we were working with a very specific budget. No matter how many homesites we visited, we consistently came back to K. Hovnanian Homes. We found a community and a home that was not only beautiful, but met our financial needs and allowed us to select from a range of options that would help us create a comfortable living space. When we found our townhouse in the "Retreat at Millstone," we truly felt that we were getting a gorgeous home and a great value for the budget we were working with. In addition to getting such a great new home, we were so fortunate to meet and work with wonderful people. The team at this development were awesome and they helped us through this entire process. It was a pleasure to work with them. We have an outstanding sales consultant in Devin, who supported us from the very beginning to ensure that we were happy and that all our questions and needs were met throughout the entire process. Devin always goes the extra mile to sure that everything is to your complete satisfaction. He helped us pick a homesite, think about possible interior options, and guided us through every step of the buying experience. Devin was always available to speak with us and answer all our questions. Terry, our design consultant, was instrumental in helping us customize our home and worked with us to select the most beautiful options, materials, and color scheme within our budget. She was amazing, talented and had such patience as she walked us through each and every option for our home. With her help, we created a warm and inviting atmosphere that is truly unique and exquisite. It was really awesome to have the opportunity to choose from so many options and so many price points. That was something that is unique to this builder. As our home construction began, we met Tom who was our Construction Manager. Tom was responsible for making sure that every detail in our home from the floorpan, the wiring, and installation of all the options were handled with care, respect, and integrity. Tom meets with you and facilitates a series of Gold-Key Walkthroughs where you go over every detail of the home building process and Tom makes sure that everything you select and everything you want is explicitly outlined for the construction teams and installers throughout the process. He checks everything thoroughly and if he sees anything that doesn't look right, he immediately takes action to resolve the issue. Tom does everything possible to make sure that your home is perfect. Even, after we closed on our home, we still have the complete support of Devin and Tom. Devin is always ready and willing to support and assist you to make sure that you feel completely satisfied with your home, that you feel good about your purchase and that you feel you have a quality living space. Devin is very professional and takes such a sincere interest in making sure any issues you have are resolved satisfactorily. It's really nice to know that you can reach out to a team of people after a purchase is completed and get things resolved in a timely manner and with ease. Tom has continued to work with us as well and has been supportive in explaining how everything works in your new home. Purchasing a new home can be a very stressful experience, and there are times when things just need to be adjusted, replaced, and fixed. However, we have a great team of people who are committed to ensure that all of our expectations are met. It is a pleasure to work with this organization and they have a good group of talented and knowledgeable professionals, looking after your interests. Nicholas & Devin in the Sales Office offer an amazing sales experience.

Caleb and Lou were so helpful through this whole process. This was our first experience buying a new home. We absolutely love the size of our community. Not too big and not too small. The location to amenities is perfect. Stores ,church, bank ,post office and beach.

Overall, we are very pleased with our Seabrook property. Our sales representative was conscientious and helpful, and we ended up with a great looking house. He was also diligent in following up to ensure we were not encountering problems. The construction manager was extremely thorough during the walk through process and quick to respond to any issues that arose. The only rough spot was the trip to the design center, which did not go smoothly. All in all, we're happy customers.

Caleh and Lou were amazing throughout the process. They always took the time to answer any questions and always kept us informed of how things progressed.

Devin in the sales department was amazing. He went above and beyond to answer questions and assist in every way possible. He always made me valued as a customer. I was reluctant to buy another KHov product due to the awful experience with my first home in Plantation Lakes. Even after 4 years in that home, I never had a 1 year walk thru. This townhouse was purchased because it is what I could afford as a single mother. KHov has the potential to be a great company, but they cut corners when hiring skilled craftsman. I have crooked walls because of drywall finishing being done sloppily. I have nail pops in a row all the way down almost every wall. Beautiful house, well built. I bought one of the models, fully furnished, and all the extras. Love the house. Love the neighborhood with clubhouse, pool, and access to Red Mill Pond. Highly recommended builder and neighborhood. Had some issues with the dryer, which was not installed correctly, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Understand the community your buying into, and be prepared to get involved. Join and be an active member in your HOA!

After two full months in this house the floors have a bounce to them. Enough to have objects fall from a cabinet in a different room. There’s unfinished trim on cabinets. Light switches located behind doors. Questionable soundness of structure in exterior garage wall. I’ll assume the architect/designer does not live in one of these homes. I’m told the house needs to go through two seasonal changes. Time will tell.

We purchased a Spec Home so we were not involved in the design process! We obviously liked the design of the house and the amenities that were offered. One note that I state as the materials is that because it was a spec home I was a little disappointed in the framing materials that were used and observed during the process. The houses I have witnessed that have been purchased to be built appear to have a better quality framing materials from my observation. All other materials seem to be of equal quality and we have enjoyed the design and amenities.

The Villages at Red Mill Pond is a great community!

Excellent except we had no tv or internet for the first month. The underground cable wasn’t in place

Overall experience has been positive. Unfortunately, the settlement company did not send proper paperwork to the water company and the HOA. We settled on October 28 and our water was cut off on November 28 the day after Thanksgiving. Of course, no one was available to assist us because it was a holiday weekend. Our goal was to stay a few days but had to return to Bowie, Md. We returned to Delaware on Monday. After numerous emails and phone calls the water was cut on at 3:15 pm.on Monday Thanks to Nick and Tom for being empathetic and caring. It was would have been nice if the company had offered accommodations elsewhere in Delaware. We are experienced homeowners and have never experienced this level of incompetence. Obviously, someone dropped the ball. Hopefully, no one else will endure this unfortunate experience. ... More

The person we had to help us with the loan was very helpful!!! Any hiccup that we came across she was there to help.

The community is GREAT!! From sales to the project manager - EVERYONE is professional and helpful. Nick was our sales agent. Tom is the project manager- BOTH have been outstanding! The quality of our home is AMAZING for the price.
