This is our 3rd New Construction Home and KHov by far has been the one where results are what was expected but more importantly they respond when problems arise with any items that need to be addressed and that is more important than anything else. Many builders your rockstar when you are buying and then dead to them after closing. KHov continued to treat us with the same attention that we saw before we purchased. The quality so far is great and the house looks fabulous.

Beautiful designs and very responsive sales and maintenance team.

The entire staff was excellent. Communication and follow up threw the entire process was top notch.

My family loves our home, Dustin who sols us the home was amazing always checking in and even after closing makes himself available to answer questions for us. Jason our builder was the best, he sent regular updates with pictures and allowed us to do walk throughs. We highly recommend K.Havnanian

From day one of walking into the sales office to make inquiries through the last day of receiving our gold key we enjoyed working with KHOV in building our dream home. The process was smooth and everyone involved with us have been highly professional and sweet. After moving into our home we discovered a few issues (which is normal with new builds) and the company has been prompt in helping us fix it. We love working with KHOV and will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy their dream home.

Buying a new home is always stressful but it can be good if you are in the right neighborhood. The project managers here are very helpful and timely in their response. There are a lot of things to be concerned about while spending your money and there will be differences of opinion and perspective but this neighborhood and developer are working to give you the best they can. We have had an overall positive experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend putting your family in a home here. Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to getting more great neighbors.

We love our new home. The quality of construction is superb. All our friends and family members are at awe seeing the house!! Drew was outstanding. A thorough gentleman and a friendly professional! He attended to all our questions and issues with lots of patience and was very understanding of our concerns. Eban was awesome too. We highly rate Hovnanian and would recommend it to any home buyers.

None of the issues identified during the walkthrough a week before closing have been addressed . Most of these issues are still not resolved 2 months after closing . Wish atleast a few were addressed

We love our new home. K hov uses high quality materials and it is a strong build. The map fit our needs perfectly. Rick and Keith were great but the people working for the contractors often do not follow through with instructions and there were several unfinished things even at the time of closing. I just wish they would refine the finishing touches without us having to ask so many times.

The house is nice, but not worth what I paid for it I feel like I was duped every step of the way. I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials used after paying $36k more for an upgraded package and color scheme. The sales office did not have any samples and told me to use the website. I was blindsided by thousands of dollars of assessments and fees, which I think the sales office should have initially disclosed. $52k for closing costs! 7%!!!Also there was thousands of dollars for the HOA when there is only a small playground and a dog park. The sales office also claimed I was getting a “free” basement. But I later found out only if used their mortgage company which was a full point above market rate. It was too late to change lenders when I needed to actually lock in a rate. ... More

Our sales agent Craig was wonderful! Very kind, nice and attentive to our questions which made the experience very pleasurable.

They have best models and colors to offer

I have a decent experience but in a rush to finish the closing at the earliest and handover to client, builders left several things. I had to raise tickets for multiple issues and i am still raising issues and following up every week. Good thing is they are addressing all the issues without fail but raising tickets and following up each time is a pain.

1.Not great when It comes to quality and workmanship 2.No value for the price paid. 3.Good team and company but not a great construction and quality.

My certificate of occupancy was not not done on the settlement day. My sales rep Michael never called me back when I told him about the issues. I never heard from when I moved in also.

Buying a new house does come with added stress but when that stress is increased due to the lack of updates or lack of attention to issue with no updates or evident issues were corrected and a lack of communication — just unacceptable!! To add to this when you purchase a tech package you expect that the wiring is work vs more out of pocket cost and time & effort you have to put in. To add more to this debris that the trades leave behind that gets blown around is just disrespectful to owners and unacceptable that the builder is not stepping up to recognize there is an issue.

Check for defects early on

As first time homebuyers, my husband and I expected a much better finshed product, however we were sadly disappointed. Khov's home building process is rushed and the workmanship is poor. The quality of the work does not reflect the "new constructed home" we dreamed about.

We chose Summit Pointe by KHOV due to it's location and initial pricing. The neighborhood is very nice and it's proximity to most amenities makes this location a very ideal spot. The whole buying process felt very rushed. Upon signing the sales contract, NO edits or revisions were allowed. Even small things such as moving an ethernet port from one room to another was not allowed. KHOV needs to realize that owner plans could potentially change after signing the contract. To be clear, we wanted some changes that were not structural to be implemented literally days after signing our contract. We understand that it's not feasible for design changes to occur weeks or months into the construction phases. The interior of the house seems to be very well built. We noticed that whoever designed the electrical outlets and switches did not consider room layout at all. Light switches are often tucked away behind doors, outlets are behind major furniture such as bed frames and certain light switches make no sense, especially in the kitchen. Why are the island light switches placed at the furthest point in the kitchen? The most glaring deficiency that many homeowners have complained about is the sad excuse of a driveway that leads to the garage. Some houses were optioned with 3 car garages. It is absolutely impossible to utilize the 3rd bay without absolutely destroying your lawn. There is plenty of room to pour a double wide driveway that would allow homeowners to park adequately without risk of damaging the fresh sod. Overall the house and location is desirable as the development is rapidly growing. Just be prepared for the typical new construction headaches.
