They use cheap materials to build houses. Just moved in August. Things has started falling apart. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

The home finishings that are offered by Khov create beautiful aesthetics. Repairs were expeditiously tended to.

Construction managers work hard to earn perfect score after we buy home they vanish . Home had lot of issues starting from basement leaks , HVAC pipe rusted , it is truly heartbreaking to put my blood & sweat to buy this home and then I encounter these issues . You guys did ok but I’m still healing from this home buying experience, KHOV is a reputed builder - I put lot of trust in you .

The house is nice, but not worth what I paid for it I feel like I was duped every step of the way. I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials used after paying $36k more for an upgraded package and color scheme. The sales office did not have any samples and told me to use the website. I was blindsided by thousands of dollars of assessments and fees, which I think the sales office should have initially disclosed. $52k for closing costs! 7%!!!Also there was thousands of dollars for the HOA when there is only a small playground and a dog park. The sales office also claimed I was getting a “free” basement. But I later found out only if used their mortgage company which was a full point above market rate. Check for defects early on

I had a terrible experience with KHovnanian Homes, starting from the sales process all the way to the construction and post moving-in to the home. The sales team was terrible, unexperienced and unresponsive, and despite multiple attempts to get updates, resolutions, the sales manager never got in touch, never replied on emails and never talked on phone and sales associate said "there's nothing to talk". The entire process was frustrating and unorganized, no proper documentation was collected prior to the contract and after contract they were un-responsive. Beyond that, the construction quality is not up to par. There were noticeable issues that were not found during engineer's inspection. Things like, bad and no caulking, outlets not secured, nails on carpets. I expected much better for the price and regret choosing KHovnanian Homes. Quick response to service requests

1.Not great when It comes to quality and workmanship 2.No value for the price paid. 3.Good team and company but not a great construction and quality.

This is our 3rd New Construction Home and KHov by far has been the one where results are what was expected but more importantly they respond when problems arise with any items that need to be addressed and that is more important than anything else. Many builders your rockstar when you are buying and then dead to them after closing. KHov continued to treat us with the same attention that we saw before we purchased. The quality so far is great and the house looks fabulous.

Overall a positive experience

Buying a new house does come with added stress but when that stress is increased due to the lack of updates or lack of attention to issue with no updates or evident issues were corrected and a lack of communication — just unacceptable!! To add to this when you purchase a tech package you expect that the wiring is work vs more out of pocket cost and time & effort you have to put in. To add more to this debris that the trades leave behind that gets blown around is just disrespectful to owners and unacceptable that the builder is not stepping up to recognize there is an issue.

My certificate of occupancy was not not done on the settlement day. My sales rep Michael never called me back when I told him about the issues. I never heard from when I moved in also.

My family loves our home, Dustin who sols us the home was amazing always checking in and even after closing makes himself available to answer questions for us. Jason our builder was the best, he sent regular updates with pictures and allowed us to do walk throughs. We highly recommend K.Havnanian

Bought a new construction home & closed close towards the end of april. Have had many problem & the small ones were fixed with the bigger problems being ignored or pushed on to the next guy. Found many issues with door’s not closing correctly thing’s not being painted my air had went completely out about 6 times now. Very bad when your in the middle of the summer on a 95+ degree day. Biggest issue being is my hvac pipe having such bad condensation that it has caused a leak in the ceiling of my kitchen. They cut a hole in the ceiling in my kitchen leaving an exposed hvac pipe dripping water all day onto my counters & floor creating a slipping hazard for us & our 3 children. After the month long wait i have been essentially been told its our fault that we keep out house “too cool” in the summer. There recommendation is turn it no lower then 15 degrees of the temperature outside. So on day’s that it reaches 100+ my thermostat should be set no lower then 85-87 degree’s. Which is Completely unacceptable. There behavior with no one taking responsibility is disappointing. When i called & explained the situation to there customer service line there response essentially was we will send you the information so you can sue us. WOW! I have a decent experience but in a rush to finish the closing at the earliest and handover to client, builders left several things. I had to raise tickets for multiple issues and i am still raising issues and following up every week. Good thing is they are addressing all the issues without fail but raising tickets and following up each time is a pain.

As first time homebuyers, my husband and I expected a much better finshed product, however we were sadly disappointed. Khov's home building process is rushed and the workmanship is poor. The quality of the work does not reflect the "new constructed home" we dreamed about.

Beautiful designs and very responsive sales and maintenance team.

We were rushed to sign the contract, we were not provided time to go thru the contract. They invited to meeting to go over contract but they were very rude and forced me to sign the contract before leaving. There are many hidden fees Ex: water allotment payment which is a whopping 9000$(only if you go select their lender else 17000$). They will force you to go thru their lender by saying they will remove incentives provided if we won’t choose them. Home selection process was not great, they showed me some printouts and asked me to select my options which is very confusing and once signed they won’t allow any changes even non structural things like carpet/tiles etc. They rushed me to select home and didn’t explained about their home models. From day one of walking into the sales office to make inquiries through the last day of receiving our gold key we enjoyed working with KHOV in building our dream home. The process was smooth and everyone involved with us have been highly professional and sweet. After moving into our home we discovered a few issues (which is normal with new builds) and the company has been prompt in helping us fix it. We love working with KHOV and will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy their dream home.

We love our new home. K hov uses high quality materials and it is a strong build. The map fit our needs perfectly. Rick and Keith were great but the people working for the contractors often do not follow through with instructions and there were several unfinished things even at the time of closing. I just wish they would refine the finishing touches without us having to ask so many times.

Buying a new home is always stressful but it can be good if you are in the right neighborhood. The project managers here are very helpful and timely in their response. There are a lot of things to be concerned about while spending your money and there will be differences of opinion and perspective but this neighborhood and developer are working to give you the best they can. We have had an overall positive experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend putting your family in a home here. Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to getting more great neighbors.
