My K. Hovnanian home is top quality. Can't compliment the construction manager Aaron enough. He was amazing to work with, he guided me through the process of building the house and worked with me on few requests with moving light fixtures around. My experience with K. Hovnanian was a great experience overall. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Good service and very professional staff

From my sales person to my upgrade design consultant, my mortgage consultant, my construction manager, the quality of my new home, it was all quite easy and a wonderful experience. KHOV, has a great team that truly care about their buyers.

The home buying process was very easy and the sales team (Lisa) and our home build manager (Sergio) worked together to make sure we were informed and the home was built with quality workmanship. We love our new home!

I appreciated the weekly updates and pictures from the builder. The sales rep in the office was also very receptive anytime we came to go see the model again. Finally, the mortgage team worked tremendously to get us closed on time.

The best experience was having Carl as our builder! He was helpful, understanding and trustworthy. He was always available for us to reach him!

I contacted the warranty team and was told I would receive a follow up call to coordinate a claim repair and here we are two weeks later and......nothing

It was a great experience.

In terms of communication, Mr. Aaron always was willing to explain with details and response any questions and always very fast. In terms of construction, I guess the walk-through is not enough to see any issues, you will find scratches in mirrors, stains on the floors that you have to scratch and clean over and over, bumps under the carpet, things that you actually notice when you live in the house and start cleaning, sweeping, etc. Overall, it was ok, not a WOW for me.

My first home buying experience not optimal due to lack of consistency with the Sales department and lack of communication/organization within the builder/closing team. It took 1 hour 1/2 to complete my paperwork but the closing lasted 6 hours which was completely unacceptable. We would call the department several times for updates and no one knew anything about my file meaning it had not even been reviewed. The closing team were understanding and thorough- that disorganization was out of their control unfortunately. I worked with New American Funding and my Senior Loan Processor (and his processing team) were trustworthy and overall served a smooth experience. Thanks to the lender, the builder's project specialist, and closing team, my experience was not completely negative however the builder's sales team need to be more knowledgeable and involved with their buyers. ... The accountants were great but I feel the workmanship was rushed. There is no reason why I should be repairing anything in a house that I have only lived in for a month.

They will lie to your face to get you to sign than don’t care. I was told my house would not be near the townhomes in the community and was total lie. They did bad job installing cabinets and damaged them and made me point it out to get them replaced. House was not finished but forced closing. Don’t use there finance company. I asked to use my own title company and was ignored until it was to late. Over charges closing costs to the point it goes above 4%. If I did not need the house, I would have walked away.

From poor workmanship and materials to multiple misses and construction issues this has been the worst construction experience I have had. The construction supervisor was never around and missed both small and big design options including the dual AC thermostat system. Problems with heater, tiles, cabinets, even the floor in the second floor is shaking and tumbling. They don’t allow independent inspection prior to closing and now I know why, they don’t want to delay closing by the buyer finding all the issues! I do not recommend this builder to anyone.

Multiple problems that are still not resolved.

A lot of loose concrete blocks left around the house. I picked up big chunks of concrete right under shrubs, and on the edge between SOD and house walls. How much concrete has been left by this builder under the sod in the whole area???!!! Is it hazard? Is loose concrete preventing the soil of absorbing the rain water? This is bad experience.

My experience was terrible and continues to be. There are so many flaws in my home. Some issues were addressed. Not all of my floors are even, I'm still waiting on my front door to be fixed. My kitchen cabinet has flaws. Still waiting on replacement. Hallway door to utility closet, our bedroom closet door has issues, mud inside plug sleeve can not hide tv wire Behind refrigerator is left over electrical tape and dry wall pieces, inside, kitchen cabinets there is sawdust, toilet seat is not set in guest bathroom going into all bedrooms Re upside down. Outlets covered with dry wall mud. The Windows are filthy. The floors were filthy Cracks throughout the garage floor, crack in drive way. Our neighbors watched a big concert truck went through caution tape pulled into driveway when the driveway wasn't a week old and truck cracked the driveway. There is still more issues that needed to be addressed, too many more to mentio z Being that my home is a new Build I feel it was sold as an as is home. This unacceptable. We're still waiting on repairs. My next step is to contact the BBC... And anyone else who will listen to us. Buyer beware especially when you pay cash. I want to be compensated for the flaws in my home and the stress brought upon me. If I knew this was going to be like this. I would have never paid $399,999 in cash for this home They did a rush job knowing we were going to pay cash. I don't appreciate being placed on the back burner. While your Builders are building new homes else where!!! If we can't get all the issues addressed asap you leave me no choice but spread the truth to other home buyers of your builds. HOME CAME INFESTED W ROACHES - NOTED PRIOR TO CLOSE REFUSAL TO REMEDY AND REFUSAL TO COMPENSATE FOR MY PAYMENT OF REMEDY. MY ROOF LEAKED DUE TO A DEFECT AND MY CEILING AND CARPET SOAKED TOOK TWO WEEKS TO FIX THE ROOF PART. MY PANTRY CEILING IS SOFT AND WET SO IS A WALL BY MY SINK
