Hovnanian's entire Team was great to work with, from the initial meeting through to closing. Carolyn in Sales was accommodating, thorough in following up with answers and additional information, always courteous & professional, never pressuring, a real joy to work with. Robert and then Chris were brilliant on the Construction side; ever helpful, answering hundreds of questions, walking us through the house during different phases, very responsive with assistance after we moved in. There's never a perfect project with no issues; the test is how does a company respond or recover when the problems inevitably arise. Last but definitively not least, is the service and support we've received from Harold. He's been fantastic and quick to respond offering us ongoing support. Loved that this builder used tile for the flooring throughout and granite countertops. Lots of storage in cabinets and closets. Huge master bath and closet. Nice porch and entryway. Love the smart home technology. Bonus was that all appliances were included even the washer and dryer.

Been waiting for repairs since January. Such a slow process. I wish I was allowed a home inspection prior to closing and repairs done before I closed. I am still waiting to talk to a manager from sales since end of Nov. 2024 I asked 6 people to have one reach out to me. The homes are nice and the financing terms are attractive but when something is wrong its like you are just a pain and no longer exist.

The entire process went smoothly and the team was very knowledgeable. Carolyn was good communicating our initial needs with purchasing of the home. Her and Robert were amazing with keeping us up-to-date on the construction process and answering any questions we may have had. Robert was also very responsive after closing with any concerns. Great experience all around and very happy with our new home.

Robert and Carolyn made building a new home very smooth and easy. I couldn't believe how stress-free the process was. They answered every question and kept in touch throughout the entire process. Even living states away I had peace and knew I was in great hands....I highly recommend working with them.

I've been a home owner for years and in a rush to move back to Florida I neglected to see the hidden issues and lack of quality of the construction in the new home I bought.

Overall great experience purchasing the home

Frustrating small details we didn’t see: Kitchen cabinets not screwed correctly, missing gaps in sealing seams by staircase and bathroom doors, and the door knobs are falling off the upstairs doors. The design and construction are outstanding. Excellent safety features and beautiful small details.

The home purchasing process was smooth!

I am disappointed with the quality of the build, especially the painting. The front door should not have passed the hurricane test as the screws were 3/4 inch and not up to code. The grass died before the close date and I never heard back about replacing it. Never again will I purchase a home from KHov.

Sales agent Lashon was great. Informative, knowledgeable and great follow up. Speedy closing. End of July I’m still waiting on things that were promised to be done before closing which was 4/25. Hopefully Jim will see them through.

Very Cheap materials. Everything in the house was the cheapest materials possible.

I have purchased a new construction townhouse with K. Hovnanian® Homes. I am extremely pleased with my home buying experience and also with post-closing customer care. It was my first time buying from a builder directly, and i was impressed with the whole process. I had a team on my side: from builder to mortgage company that led me each step of the process. I love the design, finishing choices and quality of my townhouse. I would buy again from K. Hovnanian® Homes! Highly recommend.

Everything part of the process was first class. Including the home itself. I could not be happier with the decision to go with this builder. I definitely recommend them for their patience with a first time home buyer

Alan our builder has been very responsive to any issues. Unfortunately when we moved in, our master shower had to be redone due creaking noises. Other than that, our door handles have fell out, most of the material used is builder grade so it’s cheap. The workers for Alan don’t pay attention to detail and missed many painting spots in our home, that we had to have touched up. The seller of our home was terrible, would put tasks on other people, unresponsive, and definitely in it for the money only. Nice home now that we have added our own custom finishes and hardware. Good starter home, wouldn’t live here for longer than 5 years due to how close the homes are to neighbors. ... More

Quality of work could have been better ( poor paint job and finish; drain & tiles in master bathroom had to be repaired shortly after we moved in; heating system & thermostat had to be serviced because they were not calibrated; cracks in driveway and garage floor of a brand new home; yard not level and drainage poor creating sloppy/sludgy areas).

Hi All, overall experience with the sales person and the contractor assigned to complete the house, they updated me on a regular basis. i would visit the site and the contractor was there to answer any questions or concern. I am extremely happy with me new home. Great choice on my part...The kitchen is the coolest part of the house. Shari

Monica did a great job helping me through the sales process. Alan is doing a great job helping me after the close. He is helping me learn about my new home and also fixing little things that pop up after a close.

From the time we walked into the model home until the time we received our keys the experience was top-notch. They have been responsive to any issues that we have had and quickly resolved them. This is a great company!

The home has had a lot of items that needed to be fixed and some of the trades are slow to fix the problems. Months go by before they order replacement items.
