great value, sales process and communication a little clunky, but overall strong experience! disappointed with the property management company (not K H)

Process was draining, lots of broken promises, still fighting HOA to get a fence we were promised, the time it takes to fix things in the house. I feel like my unit being the first one up was rushed!

The builder up holds his word on corrective action. Building flaws are inherent in all builders as the nature of the business is. But all in all they were diligent in all issues. Cosmetics, building structure, Supply chain issues of the past. A builder who can weather what these times can throw at the them. Quality.

Make sure items that need attention are attended to before closing.

Most of what we did to buy this property was done remotely.. we relocated from Connecticut this past summer. Every effort was made to keep us informed of progress in construction by Monica. She sent us regular updates via text. Jim and Reese have been very responsive to our post construction needs. Communication with the mortgage company was somewhat lacking at times and documents were requested at the last minute. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you K HOVNANIAN.

Lots of promises from builder that never get delivered. Tired of calling on a weekly basis to ask for what we paid for - they do respond and are very nice on the phone but nothing seems to get done in a timely matter if at all. We are just getting very tired of all the calls I need to make and have someone home for a delivery or service that should have been complete prior to us moving in. All we ask is give us what we paid for. Period.

The overall experience was not very good

I don’t believe the contractors involved in the building of my home paid attention to detail. Their work showed lack of respect to their trade. After almost three months, we still have items that are being addressed. We had to move in before the high impact windows were installed even though this was an original design of my house. Some of the materials used in building my house seem inferior to a house of this price.

This has been a bad experience and continues to be, I wouldn’t recommend this developer. Lied to every step of the way, if I could have got my deposit back I would have went elsewhere. The best single word to describe everything. Incompetent

I have been frustrated and burdened with the lack of quality workmanship in the townhome we paid for in Stuart, Florida at the Preserve at Avonlea. Monica, the salesperson, was wonderful to work with along with Jim Carroll as Community Manager/Liason after the sale closed. Beyond these two people, I have been unimpressed with the professionalism and customer care/support of the K. Hovnanian team who is sold strongly with the brand and your unit upon purchasing. Very disappointed...and I work in the real estate industry and manage 200 agents along with 650 total in our company. It was a pleasure to got my new beautiful home from K.Hovnanian everything was wonderful good job guys.

My number one problem deals with the construction of my home's swale. In Port Saint Lucie where my home is, the city has water swales in front of most front yards. This swale is supposed to allow water flow from heavy rains. My swale was either not done correctly or the effectiveness of the swale was altered during construction. At any rate, it has lead to a pudding of water around my driveway. Because the water isn't moving, it had turned green from algae. It also invites mosquitos and frogs. The city blames the builder, and Khov construction had not moved to do anything about it. So I have to suffer with this at my NEW home. ... More

We loved the new home, everything went so smoothly for the loan application, the price for the property has good value.

Fantastic home buying experience. Alan, the property manager, goes above and beyond to ensure the transition of new home to homeowner is as smooth as possible.

The members at K.Hovnanian have been amazing. We are first time home buyers and they walked us through the entire process. They are trustworthy and thorough. The builders were also great and respond with diligence and promptness to any issues you may have with the build. I would 100% recommend K.Hovnanian to any future home buyers!

We have been in our new home since November 5th 2022 and still have issues to be resolved and continue to find concerns with the type of work performed during the build.

the house is spectacular, the purchase process was very quick and easy

We had an amazing experience thanks to Elliot our construction Manager and his assistant. They answered all our questions and help us with our dream home . Elliot made this experience very pleasant.

Carleen has gone above and beyond. As a sales person her job was done long ago. Even though I have closed months ago she still checks in with me. Chris has been my contact since closing. The follow up on the minor things I reached out for has been amazing. Always gets back to me immediately with answers. Again everyone have dealt with at KHov goes above and beyond

The team was great the process was a Breeze. Monica was able to take us through the process explain to us everything we asked. The construction team was great you guys build a great Product. Thank you Brian and the construction team.

The entire team has been excellent. From the start Monica has been very kind and helpful. We appreciate her thoughtfulness, checking in on us, and pushing to close on time. Brian and his team are very helpful, kind, and responsive to every request. We appreciate their hard work.

Home was made and came out besutiful

When it is to sell the property, they tell you everything is so flexible, but when it comes to closing... the story is very very different.
