Overall great experience that we would do again

As first time home buyers we very new to many thing. Vikky was great ! She has always been ready to help us when ever we had any issue, from home to loan . She never promised us what she couldn’t deliver which is something we greatly appreciate. When she says she will look into it I never had to worry about it and the results very immediate . She helped the entire process as easy as it can get. We had few construction manager changes in the middle which had caused a little chaos but Greg was the go to guy !

We got this home just around a month back. Overall we are very much satisfied. though there was a delay in closing the home the assistance we received from the construction manager and the realtor is extremely good. Overall the quality of the construction is pretty much decent and we didn’t find any major issues so far and this is what a homeowner requires thank you very much for all your assistance and good luck.

The experience was surprisedly not stressful. Michelle was wonderful to work with. As a new home owners. She walked us through the whole entire process and told us what to expect.

Sales person Vicky was OUTSTANDING!! Very responsive and pleasant!! The building process was VERY well coordinated by Dave! Never a day without someone working on it!! Delivery was on time!!

Fantastic experience with K. Hovnanian homes! The pre and post sale experience was fantastic with great support from the entire team. Dave and Vince have been very responsive to a couple of furnace related glitches and minor new home corrections. I absolutely enjoy working with the K. Hovnanian team and would recommend them to any interested home buyer!

The sales office team is fantastic! Steve our construction manger was super easy to deal with and very easy to contact with questions and concerns along the way. Communication from the inhouse lender was a bit lackluster but once the process was rolling it was fairly smooth.

Our home is spec home, anyway we had walked through a home similar to what had purchased. We had seen wrought iron spindles on the stairwell, we had asked if this was part of our home, saleswoman said yes, when we signed we were told that they were not included. We were also told being a spec we had the ability to change or upgrade as long as it was not already ordered. Come to find out we were not able to do so. Dont get me wrong I love our home. Just the fact one would say something the other says another.

The purchasing process and design process was awesome. Debbie was fantastic and super helpful throughout the entire process. We’ve had issues after moving in, and the responsiveness hasn’t been to our expectations. The issues have yet to be resolved.

We had a great experience with K. Hovnanian Homes. The best part of our experience was our construction manager. He was so thorough and kind, and he took significant time to make sure we were informed and connected to him throughout the process. The result was a home that was exactly as we dreamed it. The only part of the process that was a little challenging was understanding some of the final closing and loan costs up front. As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and it took us a little time to get in a rhythm with our K. Hovnanian mortgage broker and sales agent. The khov folks did a great job of building our new home, keeping in touch with us, and made sure that everything went smoothly up to closing. It was done in a quite hassle-free and timely fashion. So, I am very happy with the experience.

Did a walkthrough before drywall installed and noticed every crack and gap was sealed up before the insulation was put in. Home feel very well sealed up. Even the basement concrete floor is not cold. Its middle of winter and the basement does not feel that cold.

Builder is very professional & treating customer very neatly..only concern is finishing not proper.

Builder did honor contract price during a period of shortages and price increases. People were great to work with except for our contact at the design center who made some errors and refused to accept blame. That individual is no longer with the company, we understand. Once contract was signed there was no flexibility to change or modify anything . The house seems to be built well but I feel they undersized the heating and cooling system for a two story dwelling. Overall the house is enjoyable and modern and comfortable to live in. I do think that cramming a total of nine houses in a cul du sac has crowded the sight lines and curb appeal of our property that was not evident during the lot selection process. We also have some minor correcting issues and the fixing sub contractors have not shown up to make the corrections that were promised. The builders warranty manager however has been a pleasure to work with as has also been the builders building superintendent . ... More

We really like our home. My only wish is that we did not have to wait for the construction process. I guess it is par for the course when it is customized.

Friendly, courteous, willingness to answer call on day off
