From the application process till your keys are handed out are very spot on. Grace, Amy and Steve was remarkable. They communicated with us very well and we are very pleased.

As first time home buyers we very new to many thing. Vikky was great ! She has always been ready to help us when ever we had any issue, from home to loan . She never promised us what she couldn’t deliver which is something we greatly appreciate. When she says she will look into it I never had to worry about it and the results very immediate . She helped the entire process as easy as it can get. We had few construction manager changes in the middle which had caused a little chaos but Greg was the go to guy !

We got this home just around a month back. Overall we are very much satisfied. though there was a delay in closing the home the assistance we received from the construction manager and the realtor is extremely good. Overall the quality of the construction is pretty much decent and we didn’t find any major issues so far and this is what a homeowner requires thank you very much for all your assistance and good luck.

Only good thing is the sales person Vicky is helpful, responsive and “New” construction manager Greg who made it better. It was a tough journey but by gods grace there are changes in the team and we finally moved in after a long long delay and mistakes in construction. If it wasn’t for new team I would have given a single star

The build.is great. No problem with the builder or contractors used, and if that was all that was being rated I would rate them at least 4 stars if not 5. Which is why this company even gets 2 starts from me. What places it at 2 stars was going through their mortgage company. When I told them I had 20% down ready they gave me an interest quote that was .5% higher than when I had been ready to go with 10% down. Calling around this type of move is unheard of,and put me in a bad situation. They (khov) were not helpful at all at explaining why this was the case either. Thankfully after some research (that admittedly I should have done before) and right after closing I am refinancing. I only wish I could have closed this refinance before they sold the loan. This mortgage company they Have is a scam and Im very unhappy with them, and unfortunately it reflects on Khov as a whole. ... More

Our new home is great! The best part of the whole experience has been the people we worked with along the way. Our Sales Consultant Amy, Construction Manager Steve, Design Consultant Megan, and our Loan Officer Grace Parsons were all excellent. Throughout the process, we had questions and concerns, and every KHov employee we worked with was attentive to those concerns, and provided clear solutions to them. Buying a home is normally stressful, and your team made it as smooth as possible. We live our new home, and if given the chance, would do it all over again! Customer service was terrible!! Please beware of estimating closing dates and incomplete projects after moving in. They will string you alone for weeks and weeks with different closing dates. Not mention the small things that still have to completed after you move in!! We purchased a home with shutters on all the front windows as shown on the model and the brochure. Unfortunately after we have been living here for 2 months and still no shutters. So if you are waiting for your home to be completed please be aware of inaccurate timelines on building your home as well as an estimated closing date. We love our new home but dealing with K Hovnanian staffing was one of our worst experiences. ... More

The purchasing process and design process was awesome. Debbie was fantastic and super helpful throughout the entire process. We’ve had issues after moving in, and the responsiveness hasn’t been to our expectations. The issues have yet to be resolved.

The sales team is like a used cars salesmen. Promising the sky and screwing you over. You walk in and fall in love with the model home and they tell you to put a down payment down without helping you price out items. The sales team keeps telling you that you can price out items during the design appointment but what they don't tell you is everything is an upgrade. To get the house even remotely updated, you got to spend over $60,000 in upgrades! It's too late when you find that out because you already put down a huge downpayment. I tried to price out everything with the sales team so I knew what I was getting into and I called out exactly what I wanted. The sales team ensured everything I asked for was included in the price. Now comes the shock, when you go into the design center you are told everything was basically priced out at base price like cheap kitchen cabinets and vinyl peel and stick flooring etc. I can go on and on. You're given a 1 year warranty on most work since it's a new house and things can go wrong which is understandable. I'm not mad at things going wrong because I've had plumbing issues, lock issues, and other minor things come up but they are NOT responsive. They can take weeks to get back to you, let alone send someone out to fix the issue. My sink wasn't working and they took about 2 weeks to send someone out. Can you imagine not having a working sink for that long? ... More

I was happy they were able to stick with the timeline however it was just an average experience. The foreman for KH was good but the paint and clean up was subpar.

The experience is very exciting. Seeing the house come to life and seeing your personal touches is such a great experience. Just wish the team would be better communicators. Not many updates or responses. That made the wait frustrating at points. Let's hope that's not the same case when it comes to warranty issues because some have already arrived.

Not what I expected. House have lot of issues and the thing that they say it’s everything is normal. House floors and basement where dirty. Chip quartz’s at island. Baseboards dirty and not painted well. Kitchen doble oven was not installed correctly. Still waiting on the windows shutters haven’t being install and we have a month since we move in. 2 weeks to get our mailbox install. Not happy

This is the first home that we have bought here and we feel that we made the right decision by choosing Khovnanian as our home builder. The process was transparent and seamless, right from initial buying, the design center experience, and the entire home building process. At every step, we were notified about the progress and also images being sent to see how things are progressing. Weekly / bi-weekly meetings with the construction manager helps us understand in detail and call out anything that needs attention. Special Mention to the construction Manager Dave, he has spent a good amount of time helping us understand different aspects of the house and giving us detailed walk-throughs. The final walk-through was one of the best! Nonetheless, Vicky - who helped us along the way right from the start until now. The home that was built is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. However, the process was overshadowed by the poor management in the sales office. The staff is not communicative about appropriate next steps in the building and closing process. The staff was not communicative to outside lenders and real estate professionals. The staff was downright rude in many circumstances and if my family had not invested so much time and money in the process, we would have walked away from the building process completely.

The whole process was easy, fun, and the people were great!

We really like our home. My only wish is that we did not have to wait for the construction process. I guess it is par for the course when it is customized.

From the first time we arrived at the sales office, we were impressed by the agent's professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. It continued with the construction manager's input as well. Great team!

When my wife and I had the final walk through we enjoyed seeing our new home after being in it I have noticed corners that were cut and other issues. Examples chips in the flooring, wavy walls and ceilings, bowed doors and a raised floor drain. I put a call in one day about the furnace exhaust and I had to make an issue with the builder in order to get it corrected. I guess I will keep on KHOV and hopefully things will work out.
