It was great working with Ray. I would recommend K Hov homes to anyone looking for a new home.

We had a great experience with the builder/super when building our home. They were timely in getting the home completed and communicated every step of the way. The only part of K. HOV I would never use again is the lender.

Giving the situation of a pandemic and being out of state, everything turned out good

Construction manager was fantastic at communication, updates, photos and progress as house was being built! The sales staff was friendly until the contract was signed, then didnt seem to be as interested with customer anymore.

I really like my house. It’s built quite nicely. Unfortunately me along with many of my neighbors had and awful time dealing with them. One of the main problem individuals will not return calls or emails to you. Only willing to interact with your lawyer. This individual won’t honor closings on Fridays due to wanting to take long weekends. Many of my neighbors did not close on time due to this individual and I almost didn’t until I was willing to walk away and their supervisor contacted me. This company normally has 10K of your money down for earnest money and for that reason feels like they can bully you, not close on time, and not respond to you. Thankfully I refused to sign a document requiring that large of earnest money. They continually blame the builder as the problem. The “builder” is what they say and you never get to know who this person is or speak to them. It’s like OZ, the man behind the curtain you can’t talk to but I’ve found out that the closing office seems to be a large part of the problem. Also they offer you perks if you use their mortgage lender. They are difficult to deal with when you do use them, but seem to punish you or put you at the bottom of their priority list if you don’t. This is not my first home purchase but was by far the worst. They houses are really nice, but I honestly can’t recommend them as I would not want to put a one through what I and many others have gone through with not making your closing, lack of communication, and complete disrespect for you. Very satisfied with our new home

The entire process from visiting the model homes the sales people are wonderful and patient on answering our questions , the design center who helped us shape our forever home , to the construction crew who build and made it to a reality , and even after closing the house , k hov is there for support and quick to respond to our concerns . Having people passionate on what they do makes a difference ! This being our second house to build , K hov is beyond compare in our experience ! Amazing !

The house is a great house. There are a few minor things that need to be looked at after a month in. The women in sales were great to work with. Financing was a nightmare. We had everything lined up with another financial group but got talked into using Khov for financing. That was a huge mistake. And to top it off they sold our loan to another company in the first two weeks.

Our home is spec home, anyway we had walked through a home similar to what had purchased. We had seen wrought iron spindles on the stairwell, we had asked if this was part of our home, saleswoman said yes, when we signed we were told that they were not included. We were also told being a spec we had the ability to change or upgrade as long as it was not already ordered. Come to find out we were not able to do so. Dont get me wrong I love our home. Just the fact one would say something the other says another.

We really enjoy(ed) working with Tom, he has always been a huge help in explaining & taking care of any minor issues we’ve had. Overall great experience thanks to him

I did not enjoy the overall process of buying my home. I would not recommend K.Hovnaian homes to anyone.

basement was leaking on the second day after fixing i see water in the an other place in basement, nobody check the cut insulation was repaired with adhesive tape, not replaced, in the result and I have a house for which I paid the cake for a completely new one, but the insulation in the basement is glued with adhesive tape The floor creaks in some parts, this means that in some places the floor is normal, and in some it is not properly strengthened The stump has not been removed at the site with a height of 20 inches, and many others I will ask bloggers (with more than 1 million subscribers) describing the construction of the construction of houses to review. Could be very good, but getting punch list items taken care of has been slow. It seems if you do not constantly ask, nothing gets done. Outside quality seems better than inside. Lots of little flaws. Some in materials and some in workmanship.

Great staff from the sales office to the building crew. I would never finance through Khov ever again. Terrible experience with that side of the business! Submitted paperwork several times; always had to resubmit additional paperwork; staff doesn’t return calls or emails. Was a real pain to work through the financial portion of this transaction. Not worth it to use their financing-and our loan was sold to Chase Bank the day after we closed.

The current superintendent working for this company in this area is excellent. The title company and process for selling the home was distant and unwelcoming (not due to shelter in place). It was from an east coast company and took an unprecedented length of time to receive information from prior to closing.

Really enjoyed working with everyone from the sales office to the design center and especially Tom! Tom went above and beyond Our expectations. Very personable gentleman to work with. Thank you K hov for a great experience building our forever home :)

From first viewing a model to receiving our keys, the process was seamless and communication was impeccable. The entire staff was amazing, knowledgeable and experienced in the field. By the end, they felt like family. And our home is AWESOME, well-built and perfect for us. We would highly recommend K. Hovnanian Homes!

Anne H. at the sales office was wonderful to work with. The site supervisor "Steve" was also excellent to work with. He was very professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond.

Super easy process. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of buying/buiding the home. My wife and I bought the first home we visited.
