My entire Home should have all Bronze Light Fixtures and Hardware, instead it has Silver Light Fixtures and Bronze Hardware, That's not what I order for my Home.. everything I ordered was Bronze, What A Joke!

Great company that truly cares from start to finish. Attentive and helpful, you will feel at ease throughout the process.

Our drywall was falling from the ceiling. K Homes advised it was installed incorrectly. Instead of reinstalling the drywall, they just patched some of it and said the warranty will cover future issues, not exactly what you think you are paying for when buying a new home.

This was a fantastic buying experience. The sales consultant was friendly, accommodating, and authentic which are qualities hard to come across in a sales oriented position. She played an integral role in my decision to purchase a K. Hovnanian home. The contractor has added a reassurance to the quality and craftsmanship of my recent purchase. He is thorough, takes the time to provide clear explanations to my inquiries, and he’s quick at getting tasks done. For anyone looking to purchase a new home, I will surely refer them to K. Hovnanian homes.

3 years ago we walked into the Ellwood model in Sycamore, IL and to say we fell in love with this home is an understatement! The minute we walked into the house we felt like this was our forever home! Unfortunately, things were not in a financial place with us that weren't able to start our build. Over the 3 years Sue, the sales rep, and I had remained in contact with one another. One day I emailed her and said "how many lots are left?" and she told me 3. Immediately my husband and I went to meet with her and we discussed everything and decided now was the time and we would sell our town house and start our build. During this time Sue was remarkable! She was attentive to our needs, quick to respond to any questions, was patient,and above all made us feel comfortable. We sold our townhouse that we had for 14 years after 3 days on the market and life seemed to be a whirlwind for us. We were nervous and overwhelmed. We met with Mike, Project manager, and the level of professionalism and genuine care he displayed is beyond all words. He kept us informed about all progress on the house and took the time to answer all questions. His attention to client care and satisfaction is exemplary. Mike worked diligently to have us in our forever home before Christmas and he made yet another dream a reality. The entire experience was effortless and just remarkable. We knew that K. Excellent experience- went smoothly and quickly. Staff at Hanover Estates was prompt and attentive.

We moved across the country with two kids, two cats and a dog. On top of that, we were moving over the Christmas holiday, so it was a challenging time to be trying to get things done. Our biggest concern was having a home to move into immediately. We bought a brand new home that was move in ready we had found online. We had owned a KHov home previously, so we knew we were in good hands, but it was a scary time for us. Sue from KHov immediately felt like a family friend that we had known forever. She was ALWAYS in contact with us, helped us through every step and ensured we would have keys they minute we arrived in Oswego. After a three-day drive, being handed our keys truly allowed me to take my first big breath of relief. We love our home and are so happy! It’s hard to articulate how critical our new home was for us in this move. It was our first time building and we were pleasantly surprised when we kept getting updates and pictures of our home. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The entire staff was very helpful. We were out of state for most of the process but felt included with updates.

Everything was great and they were prompt when dealing with issues. Good value for your money.

Lots of cracks, poor paint quality, staining and ittle attention to detail.

Visit the build site often and don't be afraid to ask questions. During the feature selection process make sure to take your time and again ask plenty of questions.

Brian, the Sales Manager at K Hovnanian at Churchill Farms, was one of the most friendly and personable folks I have ever met. He went out of his way to assist us in our home buying adventure. He took pictures of our house through the whole building process since we were out of state while it was being built. He assisted in getting things resolved financially when we ran into snags with the VA and helped guide us along the way. These folks are here to make your home buying experience a pleasure and not a nightmare.

I would definitely purchase another home from Khov. Every person I interacted with was courteous and helpful which made my experience as a first-time buyer that much more memorable.

The entire process of building and buying our home went smoothly and without many issues at all! From picking out our finishes, seeing our foundation being poured, watching the house going up in its many stages, to our walk thrus and finally moving in, each stage we had great support and always had someone answering questions and guiding us as needed. We are so happy in our new home and thank everyone who helped to make it happen.

We are first-time home buyers and a K.Hovnanian home was one of the homes, we visited and decided to buy. The entire process was smooth and well guided through ar every step. The walkthrough was very helpful. The closing process was also smooth.

My experience with KHov has been great. They make the home buying and building process easy and not stressful. I worked with Bob G. on the office side, Tom S. on the field side, and Grace P. on the mortgage side, all of them were very nice, honest, and responsive. Three things stood out to me in this process. One, there were never any surprises or hidden items that popped up. The price was the price and all extras were provide to me prior to my selection process and the extra prices always stayed the same. Two, the build process and quality, they built my 2500 sqft home in 5 months start to finish and the quality was great and with the 1 year home warranty there is a piece of mind that they will take care of any issues post closing. Three, the communication with the builder. I am an involved type of person and had questions throughout the build process and Bob, Tom, and Grace always had quick, clear, and honest responses for me. I had an independent house inspector and another contractor tell me how good the construction was! Anne, our saleslady was so very helpful as well as Steve the construction manager and Ryan the construction supervisor.

The mortgage company was difficult to work with but the work was good and the house turned out great.

I was disappointed. While I'm happy to be in a new home. The service and responsiveness was awful. I think I have gotten better service at bestbuy when looking for a DVD player. I was pretty much called as liar when I brought up issues with the build and workmanship was not the best. I found doors barely hanging on by a screw because hinges were loose. Garage door not centered. Stairway to basement butchered up. And the response to these issues were not addressed in a satisfactory manner. Especially since it's a purchase of 250k!... like I mentioned, I get better service at a store buying a $50 appliance ... More

My home is beautiful. We were able to create and design it as we wanted and things progressed pretty quickly. All the parties were really nice and we were pleases with our services.

Overall experience was great... Jean, our sales rep was great, couldn't ask for a better person to help us with whats really a big time consuming and stressful process....Rich, Greg, from corporate, helped out with getting some things taken care of in the build process, so was our production manager Steve...and Ryan...as a contractor I know how difficult it is to mange a build, deal with subs and then deal with customers....Steve does a great job....We are happy with the quality of the home, probably the best built "new Construction you can get without going semi custom or custom built...My wife and I are happy in our new home.... P.S. The Experience with their mortgage company was why they didn't get 5 stars from me and I would probably need a much "bigger incentive" if I ever needed to go through them again...completely unprofessional, i felt i got my mortgage, at 711...sorry 711... ... The sales and design staff did a wonderful job with helping us visualize the home we wanted. From breaking ground to final walkthrough the construction manager Steve was very responsive and accommodating to our needs and built us the home that is exactly what we had always wanted. We have recommended KHOV to our friends, family and prospective buyers too!
