The builder's in-house mortgage lender and their folks were phenomenal. Professional, courteous, prompt to respond to emails and phone calls, and they were able to get me a great rate in a very short turn-around time.

I sincerely appreciate the attention to detail KHov and its crew demonstrated in building my home. When I, with my OCD, did see things I was slightly concerned about (the not entirely centered alignment of a small plastic piece on a window and the exact color of my front door, for instance), KHov immediately addressed it and delivered a home well above my expectations. Deciding to have a home built, then being hit with a pandemic, could have been an absolute nightmare, but I didn’t stress at all with Joe a phone call away and James and Marty in charge of my build. From the first day I looked at this community, Jack gave me all the information that I needed about the houses that were being built as well as the community. My project manager Ethan, did a great job with the construction on my new home. Ethan also gave me my walk though and I was pleased on his presentation. Overall I was satisfied with the presentation that Jack made and Ethan construction of my home. Outstanding Job!!!

This is the first townhome My family and I have been in that feels more like you’re in a single family home. My family and I love our home. The space of our home is huge! Great for when we start to have family gatherings.

This was our first plunge into a new construction home purchase, and so I was a bit apprehensive early on. As the process moved along, however, my mind went to ease. There were definitely a few issues that popped up over the course of development/construction, but they were addressed promptly. I am mostly satisfied with the quality of materials used, but I believe there is room for improvement with the quality of trades work, particularly carpentry and plumbing. The only issues I have are small. The laminate flooring scratches VERY easily, the pre-installed LED lights are terribly bright, and the back porch seems like it could have been made 18-20 inches wider without any issues (I have the sunroom bump-out option). Besides those I don't really have any complaints. Deb and Joe are professional and easy to get along with.

Joe and James have been amazing and made the home buying experience great. They both kept me in the loop during the home building process and we’re extremely responsive to all of my inquiries. Job well done!

Overall my family and I love our new home with KHovnanian Enclave at Waugh Chapel. It’s spacious design and price for the location have made it and ideal place to raise a family. The KHovnanian team have made this and awesome experience.

Very attentive and does a good job

Sales, the team was great. Offerings, great. At the end of the day, we were fully satisfied with the sales process and what we got for what we paid. Seriously. But that said, we're only 90 days into our new home, and we've had at least a dozen problems. Two of 3 toilets have failed, one causing a flood. Reason - cheap contractor parts. One toilet had to be fixed twice. Fridge door wouldn't close. hardware not tight, now shifting and off level. Leak coming from washer, been waiting 3+ weeks for repair on that. The painters they used are probably 9 year olds, I've seen better finger painting. Khov holds themselves out as high end. They're fliting with it. But when I take occupancy, there should be NO issues, and only minimal issues thereafter. Not the case with us. Nor our neighbors, I might add. ... More

Very nice upgrades considering that it was a model. That is what attracted us to the home. Being a model was mostly great except that the touch up paint areas were terrible. We have areas on every floor where you can see the touch up areas. It doesn’t match so we will probably have to repaint the entire interior. Also we have some cold spots in the home like the interior door area, it is like an icebox down there. Our microwave is like a freezer. The vent doesn’t seem to be closed so cold air comes in.

There was a lack of professionalism when dealing with closing and because of this I would not recommend khov.

The sales team fell short of their due diligence. I was long distance and was told many things that I was unable to verify the time. Parking is one of them. Sales was confident that I would be able to park my car in the garage. I cannot. Acoustics between floors is slipshod. Cabinetry and doors are not held together very well. Spacing between apartment buildings to make ease of parking in the garage is very minimal.

Very little flexibility and most upgrades are pre-determined and included in the house, which you have to purchase.

I was little shocked that there was no independent QA (Qaulity Assurance) process for the finishing work of the build. There were many small details poorly finished (dry-wall spakle sanded poorly), not painted properly (could see through the paint) and some damaged materials that were not replaced. The builder is not very responsive to issues after closing.

The model home isn’t what you will get if you get what the model have for your home. We bought pretty much what the model home had and sure enough there are little things they didn’t add because it was just part of the model only. Something simple such as the cabinet crown molding off the kitchen (drop zone area) isn’t part of the price paid for- plus we upgraded the cabinets! There reply was the designers added that. Same goes with the master bath room walk in shower with the seat. The model home had the glass where the seating area in the shower. But when they build our bathroom- it’s not part of it- it’s part of the design for the model home. Really? It’s a misleading. The window added in the basement wasn’t included but it was an oops so they left the window there on the model but not for the new build homes. For our walk through I found blue tape and I asked about them. Reply back saying oh those are the stuff that needs to be looked at again and will fix. Well, when we moved into the house- I found at least 4 tapes that was still there which wasn’t taken care of. Yes we did a walk thru but these blue tapes were behind something that we wouldn’t be able to see unless open. One of them, it was so sharp I got cut on. It was a nail sticking out under the pantry from putting the cabinets together my husband said. The agent isn’t knowledgeable about what or how the house was going to sit until we meet up with the person building the home- this is when we already put a deposit down. The builder told us how our house was going to sit on the property we selected after went through the designer studio to pick out all our stuff for the house. We were unhappy and argue about this and nothing was done. Even with that agent told us a few things that would be included but end up having to pay more during the design studio. It’s upsetting to know when we walked in and asked the questions to know for sure what we will have to pay end up to be more than what being told. Overall experience with the agent would be one star and the building overall would be 4 stars because of how we end up meeting the builder after the designing studio was to late to change our lot at that time. Plus our deposit was already handed to them. Since this is a quick turn over few months to build. It’s not so great since the dry wall and the frame of walls are uneven. My husband put crown molding and added the blind for the room. It’s so uneven and large gaps. The blind is slanted and the blinds are put up correctly- the window was not properly level off. The walls were uneven but in waves. This is sad- what else we will find as we paint and add to put more value for the house. Overall experience with khov homes would be 2 out of 5 stars. ... More
