Poor quality and overpriced home. I can only give five start to their service and warranty department. I really had great experience with Adam and his team. Without his help, I will give 1 star.

Overall good experience but there are some things which needs to be transparent.

For the price of the house, we should have gotten morn out if it. They care more about building houses than having a play park for kids.

Design team is so outdated ! I feel the house model is from 1980s and no update in designs. Definetely overpriced for these outdated designs.

They are building homes in hurry and so missing quality

Not satisfied with overall workmanship and quality of the house. 1 year warranty is a joke, usually they delay service request or does a simple bandaid . Again we have to put in requests for the same work.

Although overall experience in buying home was alright, the final product and quality of workmanship is very poor. I would not recommend buying home from Khov as the price paid versus the quality of house designed and finishes are poorly in nature.

There are many issues with the building which i. dont like. 1)quality of the material used. example marbles used kitchen top-this absorbs water. 2)no option for customizations. 3)when ever there is an issue, the answer to the issue is the same, they do not fix in most of the cases. 4) how the common bath is built- 5) water connection in the main hallway, that can be seen by all the guests.

Cheap material. Expensive upgrades. Only good thing was the warranty service.

Once we gave our down payment, Paul and Kyle were unresponsive and rude. It was a mentality focused on "we already have your money so we don't need to try." They did not reply to texts, calls or emails from us or our realtor. Paul also was unprofessional taking days to reply and would not even use email signatures or greetings. Would not work with KHOV again.

For the amount of monies that I paid to Town home, expected the quality of the workmanship and materials will be at least as good as my rental home. But observed issues with the house from day1. Actually, closed the house on 31st Oct and officially moved on 1st Jan. But observed door locking issues for all the doors and cracks in the staircase and shaky staircase created multiple problems such as fell down from top.

The Sales team looks always busy and don't spend enough time to explain all the options available. There is no separate project management or construction team we can contact about the construction details, you always need to contact Sales person for any updates who seems very busy. Some of the fixtures in the home like doors, bathroom fixtures etc. are not of great quality for the price paid. Their own mortgage team plays tricks and delay the rate locking so that buyer doesn't have a chance to think about other options.

Really poor communication. Very late to meeting. Home not completed with far too many mistakes I corrected. There was blood on the kitchen cabinets and stairway after final walk through when we picked up our keys. Got our kitchen lights 3 months after purchase after we followed up weekly never from them.

Poor quality paint, came off with just few drops of water spilling from houseplant. Poor quality window locks, loose and not installed properly. Poor quality door locks, 2 months and main door lock is already loose and wobbly. Poor quality of plumbing fixtures, 2 months in and taps and shower loose/wobbly. Granite was chipped and cracked during install, team refused to fix the granite crack and blamed it on us as we only saw it 1 week after moving in. Not the quality expected for the purchase price of $650K. Homeowner emergency service has very late response and team does not deliver 100% when fixing issues. Sales representative Kyle was very bad and had very poor knowledge of the options, his only goal was to sell the units at as much high price as possible. He changed/increased the base price 3 times every time we saw him, as he knew we were interested and will buy eventually. I always wanted to buy from a reputed builder like Khov so that I can stay relaxed of so many unknowns. Am not satisfied with the buying process and the sales rep that worked with me. No proper communication, reps don't know details and often guess/lie about the features asked for. Poor quality control and cheap material used in the construction. This sets a great example of exploiting the situation of the housing market with poor quality material, miscommunication, and taking buys for granted. One piece of advice to the company, its management, property managers, and sales reps: you may sell 100's of homes in a year/month but remember the buy will buy 1 or 2 homes in their lifetime, please try to create an experience for them and stop taking them for granted. ... Sales representative are not friendly and not helpful at all. No respect to buyers at all. I know this is the sellers market but the way they are treating buyers is not good. And also point to be noted is Property Manager is not responsive and no firm rules at all. This is the worst home buying experience I never faced and also ever heard from anyone this is kind of hassle in buying home . Totally disappointed this journey of buying home at villages.

The quality of the homes are hardly at par with the price that we pay.

Poor response to areas needing to fixed

I was promised on the document for 8000$ + incentive,when I initially signed the house stating if i go with khov mortage i would get the incentive .But before closing I was send a reviewed document removing the incentive and was not explained any thing . When I approached the sales then there was no proper reason y it was removed . It took 8 months for khove to realize to remove the incentive in the documentation?.with no reason .and I mentiond this in the last review as well and no one from khov is least bothered to call us back. $8000k+ is a huge mount to us . In the last min b4 the closing when the reviewed document with no incentive was send for signature , we emailed head of the sales , and no one responded . That means iam left with no choise but just signing the document SINCE MY INITIAL DOWNPAYMENT IS WITH KHOVE. LITERALLY IAM LOCKED . Is this how khov responds to customers ... Iam still and every day regrete that I lost $8000k incensitive WITH OUT ANY EXPLINATION.. So today I am sending a review , will kohv responds to us ? Closing was not very smooth, lot of dates shared to us for the closing. But finally it was been like the customer myself have to discuss with Town for getting the occupancy certificate. After moving initial issues fixed through warranty team. But after that seeing a critical issue in the end unit where cold air getting pushed from outside, working with warranty and other senior managers team finally they are asking to read pages and pages of document saying all build as expected. Poor Construction Quality & Slow in Resolving issues. I will not recommend any of my friends to buy the property with khovnanian homes.

We were the 2nd people to sign the contract in the community. To start with we were not explained about the different elevations and we missed out on the porch. After moving in we noticed that the floors are rising. We found this on the day of our closing and they fixed it but it is starting to rise again. The master bathroom floors have a problem that is making the water leak from the great room ceiling. It’s been maire than 10 ldays and nobody has come to fix the bathrooms. We are a family of 5 and have been using only 1 bathroom. Very inconvenient. Right behind our backyard there is a water puddle which is not draining properly and this is causing bugs and spiders crawling inside and around our house. This needs to be treated immediately for maintain hygiene. We have kids and it’s making it very hard for them. A complaint has been sent about this already. In person and via email as well. The warranty staff (other than ADAM) is annoying and has a habit of obliging for a smallest thing that they would do that's covered under warranty.

Cheap quality material, Not worth the price

Moved in November 7, 2023. We could write a book about KHOV @ Crossing in Dunellen. Salesperson NEVER told us about the PILOT program thus we loose NJ Senior Tax discount and NJ Anchor program… a major financial hit. Salesperson NEVER told is the 2 BR Units were Handicap Adaptable… strange since there is NO first floor Bedroom and 16 steps to the 2 Bedrooms. Result if this lie: not undersink cabinet due to wheelchair access; a dishwasher that does not have a drying cycle; a first floor shower that cannot have a glass door to permit wheelchair access. Construction that is so bad that in a bit over 2 months all seams are open.. Don’t tell me settling! Wrong chalking was used…. happy to offer photo proof. Appliances and various home fixtures are the bottom of the bottom… dishwasher was not even anchored … first time we opened it the unit completely pulled out from under the counter ….lies - deceitful - A HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOME IS A BETTER BUILD!
