The quality of the materials and finishes is great, with some opportunities on the timing to fix small issues identified after the moving. The process of purchase went smoothly with a surprise at the end when the address number has changed which generated some impacts on the closing. There is still an issue with the gas metrics as is is wrongly assigned at PS&G so I will end up paying my neighbour invoice and vice versa. Support from Hovnanian is needed.

I would like to highlight the attitude of the staff towards customers when they first step into their office and treating them like poor given the home value the customer wants to buy vs what KHOV is offering in other communities at a higher place. I heard from many people in the community that they are also been treated like this. Of course the home values in certain areas are higher but that doesn’t mean the customers are treated like that. Definitely the attitude has to be changed either it’s KHOV or their front office staff. We are giving you the equal business as the same customer who buys a million dollar home. Thanks ... More

No follow up once you have closed

Had hard time right from sale to moving to post occupancy. Evaluate other option before committing to Khov.

The sales excutives will behave differently when selling homes homes . No proper explanation and missed so many details to inform of changes in plan of house . I didn’t like at all. It’s needed for me . So bought it. Overall experience is very bad .

The people I worked with were extremely sketchy - first, blatantly lying about the overall price of the unit and not disclosing that the price included incentives that required me to use their mortgage company. Second, including items (and costs) on the spec sheet which were NOT included in the finished home. As far as I can tell, the home seems well-built, but any buyers need to be EXTREMELY diligent in asking questions about the price, what’s included, and double/triple-checking all spec sheets and items included in the home to ensure they are getting what they paid for.

Home buying process went ok. We're noticing lot of issues after moving in with the appliances, cabinets, doors,... The KHov warranty department is not addressing the issues in appropriate time and closing lot of requests without notifying us. Similar issues are found in the neighbor homes as well.

I didn't expect this horrible quality and HOA is too high without proper roads and amenities. Too much dust and no insulation from new construction

I am not receiving any mail from USPS. I have to forward my mail to another relatives residence because I am not able to receive my mail at my new home. I’ve never had this experience before. I am at the post office 1-2 times a week picking up my mail and getting yelled at by the post office for putting down 119 Old Irondale Rd as my address because that is the only chance I have in receiving my mail. The builder is ignoring this issue and not making it priority. I am paying bills late because I am not receiving my mail. The post office is secretly delivering mail to certain homes in my community. I am being told they are not allowed to deliver mail because we live in a construction zone and there’s a liability. Another person at the post office is saying they don’t have the key to the mailboxes. This is absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating! ... More
