The overall buying process was very good. The sales staff and construction manager were excellent and very caring. The quality of construction is good, but lacks in certain areas such as the painting, woodwork and exterior siding and porches. I would recommend K Hovnanian, but you need to be diligent in following up on issues.

The process of purchasing a Khov home was quick, and they were always there when a question arose or explanation was needed. The home was reasonably priced with substantial credits. Overall, we are very pleased.

It is the worst investment I've made

Need to improved the complete end to end communication. sales to escrow. underwriter last minute finds and expecting to get resolved in 1 -2 days is not acceptable.

This is our 5th home with a builder - we would do it again with them if we were EVER going to move again - which we're not. lol. K Hov is great!

I wasn't in the market for a home. I really thought I'd find a house to rent for me and my fur babies. Once I came out to the Rolling Ridge subdivision and met Kyle all of that changed. He was phenomenal to work with and really took an interest in making sure I picked the right home and understood the process. From the walk-throughs and finance, everything about KHOV was 1000% phenomenal. I have recommended them to countless people and tell them what a great experience I've had. The craftsmanship of the home is bar-none.

My wife and I have been very pleased with KHOV. We love the house and they are very responsive to questions or any issues that we had. Overall it has been a great buying experience and can recommend to anyone looking for a new home to look at KHOV

The home we purchased had many less features than we were shown and promised at the time of purchase. Moreover, no one from KH homes management even bothered to reply to our emails and phone calls. Needless to say it was a frustrating experience.

Buying our new home has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew it was the perfect fit—beautifully designed, thoughtfully laid out, and truly built with care. The attention to detail is outstanding, from the quality finishes to the little touches that make the space feel warm and inviting. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear, every question was answered quickly, and we always felt supported along the way. Moving in has been nothing short of amazing, and it already feels like home.

The house is clearly a track build. There are a few disappointing items in the house which could’ve had a little bit more attention to detail where I understand the track build and not a custom build. There are so many issues that they just don’t seem to want to look at I hear so many new homeowners floors are sloping. Have they fixed the issue in the future homes that they’re building? They don’t seem to want to give an answer. They’re very uncommunicative after you move in.

Excellent customer service and responsiveness to issues. Everyone from Khov is very friendly and handles things quickly and efficiently. I am very impressed with the level of service they provide and would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed

Home first seen and purchased in three weeks great experience!

I was very please with the design, quality of workmanship and extras that were include in this house. I was also very please with the follow up of a couple of items that need correction. They came out in a couple of days to fix items. The one thing I did not like is it took a long time to get the solar system hooked up and working.

The home buying experience was twofold. Our sales representative Danielle was awesome to work with and was very accommodating. The KHOV mortgage process was not as good. There was a lot of sending and resending documents. I had to explain several times where my bonus money came from though it was on the paystubs I sent. The house itself is well made and well appointed. My biggest complaint is that the landscaping was/is terrible. Four months in and half of my backyard sod is dead though I water it as prescribed. Additionally, the yard was not properly rolled and it is so even, I roll my ankles when walking across the yard. I haven't yet dealt with warranty, but our first KHOV experience with them was fine. ... More

We had a great experience with K.Hovnanian. The homebuying process was smooth, the quality of work is excellent, and we felt we could trust them every step of the way. For the price, the value is outstanding, and anytime we had questions, they were quick to respond. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience with the whole sales and construction team

This is my second Khov home. No home is perfect, however Khov has a responsive warranty department. That is why I was confident in making a 2nd home purchase.

I had a great experience with the sales office. Communication was excellent. I also had a good experience with the contractors on home delivery. But the quality of the home being built is the worst out of all builders whom I have had in the past. 1) The AC damper was installed WITHOUT power and broken. Immediately after moving in I noticed that only the upstairs vent blows and not the downstairs; causing the multiple issues. When called Chas & Robert - the AC company that KHov partnered with, the technician that the damper was never installed correctly in the beginning. Now, I am still dealing with this AC issue after 2 and a half months of moving in. 2) The bath tub standing pipe is wobbly. It just was not screwed in properly. 3) The patio door shakes every time the the garage door slams which, it should have not. 4) There was a big stain left on the carpet going into the master bathroom after they delivered the house. Out of all these four issues, I fine the AC issue the most unacceptable! I should not be dealing with this on a brand new home with a brand new AC unit. ... More

We are deeply disappointed with the quality of our home. From the very start, it has been one issue after another. Our initial walk-through was covered in blue tape for defects—so extensive that it nearly caused the closing date to be rescheduled for a second time. The problems span every area: Materials: Poor quality building products throughout the house. Craftsmanship: Sloppy work and shortcuts clearly taken. Warranty: Limited coverage with dismissive responses to legitimate concerns. For example: Multiple areas have been repainted, yet the same spider web cracking continues to appear at corners and seams—almost as if paint was applied over uncured caulk. A joint in the flooring is visibly damaged. We were told this isn’t warrantable, with the implication that we caused it. We didn’t. Our neighbors have similar issues. A chip in the master bathroom shower tile was missed during the walk-through, and we were told it is now “our problem.” A baseboard with a visible crack was originally installed—it was later replaced, but it should have never passed inspection. Carpet installation was poorly executed, with clear ripples and uneven seams. These are only a few examples—we could list many more. Although we are living in the home, we cannot in good conscience recommend this builder or their contractors to others. We expected premium quality for the price we paid. Instead, it feels like paying for a Cadillac and receiving Pontiac quality. Hugely disappointed. ... More
